Selected Goodwood- good to firm on this undulating, sharp and tricky track
1.50 Audio brings the best form to the table with 3 good placed efforts, but the use of blinkers a worry as the stable’s record using the blinds is poor.
2.20 A most winnable event with plenty on long losing runs so worth trying Dream Catching, whose comeback spin was a good 2nd at Brighton off this mark, and this track should suit.
¼ pt win Dream Catching @ 10/3
4.05 The drop in trip wont help the in form Lake Volta while the longer trip is no help to Jashma. The in form Martineo would prefer slower ground, so a decent chance for the most likeable Puds to double up at this track . He was a ready winner , but is up 4 pounds and up in trip, which shouldn’t be an issue and this reliable sprinter gets the nod.
¼ pt win Puds @ 4/1
4.40 October Storm doesn’t see the race track often nowadays , but his programme is very similar to last year, which is a positive. He comes here on the back of a very good effort at Donny and he runs this tricky track well. An able 7 pound claimer aboard could make the vital difference.
¼ pt win October Storm @ 7/2
Selected Bath – firm ground on this sharp but stiff track
2.30 A good opportunity for Aroha and one for your accas .
3.05 A winnable event and a decent chance for Azets after a reasonable effort at Goodwood and this stiffer track looking a positive.
¼ pt win Azets @ 3/1
4.15 Despite the big field few with a serious chance and a decent opportunity for C&D winner Amberine whose comeback race was plenty encouraging when 3rd to Jaganory, but enjoys a good weight pull and tends to need her first race back. She was successful over C&D last year on form ground when going with the pace and winning well. She’s only 2 pounds higher, has a decent draw and regular rider Fran Norton can get a handy pitch and see this out the best.
½ pt win Amberine @ 5/2
4.50 Great opportunity for the consistent and tough Little Boy Blue to nail a deserved win with C&D and ground in his favour.
¾ pt win Little Boy Blue @ 5/6
5.20 Waqt comes here on the back of two good runs on quick turf and this C&D looks likely to suit. The wide draw could be troublesome , but in a weak finale, should send fav backers home happy.
½ pt win Waqt @ 2/1
Selected Haydock- good to firm on this flat and galloping track
A special hello to Keith and co , enjoying a day at the races and imbibing just to pass away the time !
3.20 Golden Force ended last season with a deserved win at Windsor , which puts him on a workable mark in this winnable event. He has form over C&D and on quick ground and has lost his undercarriage since last year, but the top stable does very well running geldings first time and has to be a decent bet at the odds.
½ pt win Golden Force @ 10/1
5.00 Chances can be given to all of Songkran, Smile A Mile and Burlington Boy but slight preference for Zoffee who ran well enough last season to be a threat off this mark, has been gelded since ,which is a positive for the stable and also the Tom Dascombe stable, who is comfortably the top stable here, has won this race twice from just 4 tries.
½ pt win Zoffee @ 6/1

Selected The Curragh- good to firm on this undulating, galloping and stiff track
5.25 Aidan O’Brien is 3 handed in this 5 runner Listed race for juveniles but this looks destined for Siskin, who beat the probable O’Brien number one I Harpocrates with ease on his debut at Naas, when solid in the market. No likely issues with ground or C&d and looks a good thing. Wouldn’t surprise if this one did very well this year.
1pt win Siskin @ 6/5
No Curragh placepot
Selected Worcester – good ground on this flat and galloping track
5.40 The once useful Sausolito Sunrise comes here in good shape , but I do worry that this speed track could catch him out. Silvergrove showed what he is capable of when at Fakenham , so if in the same mood would be a serious contender.Diamond king was once a very useful type and is still officially rated 143, which is way beyond his present level of ability, but he’s been in good form between the flags and worth a dabble.
¼ pt win Diamond King @ 11/4
6.40 Darcy Ward comes here on a hat-trick after two front running wins at Exeter , but on an increasing mark and also on a speed track, would do well to go in again. Junction Fourteen is worth a little dabble as last time at this trip and kind of track he went close at Donny, and if able to dominate the fav, could surprise.
¼ pt win Junction Fourteen @ 11/2
7.40 This looks an absolute match between the in form and prolific No Hidden Charges and threw away a win last time by veering across the track and losing his jockey on the run in. That was a pretty modest race and would much rather be with his rival.
3/4 pt win No Hidden Changes @ 6/4

Selected Ponty- good to firm on this undulating , stiff and galloping track
6.30 Quoteline Direct is one of a number of regulars in this and has 3 fast ground successes, but at longer trips, but did OK over C&D last time and with Miss Sheriden sure to go off hard, may just get he required strong pace at this trip.
¼ pt win Quoteline Direct @ 11/2
8.00 Foxy Forever doesn’t win as many as he should, but comes here in good form and drops in grade. He has form on stiff tracks and worth a play.
¼ pt win Foxy Forever @ 5/1
8.30 This is not a deep event and hard to disagree wit the bookies making the lightly raced Navigate by Stars a short priced fav and looks likely to appreciate this stiff uphill finish.
½ pt win Navigate By Stars @ 6/4
