Today’s Fortune for a fiver
6 50p doubles, 4 25p trebles & 50p ew acca
Hellfire 2.20 @ 7/2
Tavener 2.50 @ 12/1
It Must Be Faith 3.55 @ 9/1
Enchanted Linda 2.00 @ 9/2
Selected Nottingham- good to firm on this flat and galloping track
1.30 Four clear contenders in this big field maiden with the bookies favouring Vasiliev and King Adeamar , just ahead of king of Change and Mokammel, and that looks about right , but preference for the well drawn King Ademar, who is proven on quick turf, the stable has made a good start to the season and Murphy rides.
1/2pt Win King Ademar @ 2/1
2.00 Enchanted linda did really well last year and after showing promise in a decent maiden at Newbury, she won comfortably at Ffos Las, before winning from the worst of the draw Beverley, showing great willing. She ended the season with a brave effort in a Class 3 handicap at York , off around this mark , and only beaten a length trying to make all. All of her runs have been on quick turf and has proven to be tactically versatile. Murphy rides again and another good run anticipated.
1/2pt Win Enchanted Linda @ 9/2
2.30 NO hanging around in this Class 3 sprint as the outclassed Mawde will go off like the clappers and the talented Broken Spear, who landed an all the way win on his last run of last season, beating a good field, but he does need to be on his own up front to run to his best, so may well need to wait for another day. The useful Pocket Dynamo is clearly the one to beat at the weights, but did end last season tamely . Garrus’ last two runs were in Group company , but has plenty to prove on quick turf down in trip.
3.05 It’s likely that the decent elegiac will make a right fist of it, but useful filly Pilaster , has a clear advantage at the weights and is fine on ground, trip and probably track, but is well odds on.
3.35 PREMIUM RACE
4.10 PREMIUM RACE
4.40 Not a deep handicap and the Mark johnston trained Bo Samrann showed last season that he stays this far , acts on the ground and on a very fair mark judged by the quality of his form.
¼ pt win Bo Samrann @ 2/1
Selected Warwick- good ground on this flat and sharp track
2.40 Not a deep event and as Bbold should have done far better last time, preference is for I’m A Starman, who ran a great race to be 3rd at Chepstow , and that’s the best form on view, and is trusted that he’ll be able to run his race on quicker ground and a sharp track.
½ pt win I’m A Starman @ 4/1
2.40 a great opportunity for the lightly raced Sojourn, whose form is well good enough to take this modest contest as Bubbles of gold needs a much stiffer test of stamina.
¾ pt win Sojourn @ 5/4
3.15 As long as her efforts at Cheltenham hasn’t left a scar, this should be a breeze for the talented Elusive Belle, but well odds on.
4.20 His Dream has a good C&d on his Cv and was going well over C&D last time until losing his jockey late on. Just worried about drying ground.
1/4pt ew His dream @ 7/1
4.50 A Marathon Chase and the reliable Fifty Shades ill love the ground and has shaped as this longer trip will suit.
½ pt win Fifty Shades @ 7/2
5.25 PREMIUM RACE
Selected Lingfield- all weather – polytrack
2.20 A weak opener and an excellent chance for the in form and down in grade Helfire. Nicely drawn and goes well here, but it’s been a while since she last won one, but no excuses today.
½ pt win Helfire @ 7/2
2.50 The in form Garth Rocket returns from a break for s new stable, so I’d rather just watch him today . We have a short priced fav in Rewayyat, who runs in famous colours, but has hardly set the track alight yet, and not for me at all, especially from a wide draw. Tavener is well drawn for a fron runner and could steal a march in these, despite the testing mark and this trip being far enough.
1/2pt ew Tavener @ 12/1
3.25 Shanghai Grace is developing into a very decent racehorse and goes for the C&D hat-trick, but is now on a testing mark in a deeper race . I prefer the consistent winter Light , nicely drawn and fair mark.
¼ pt win Winter Light @ 6/1
3.55 Very little between all of these at the weights, but only It Must Be Faith shows his best form on this surface , and despite the wide draw, could well make all at very juicy odds.
½ pt win It Must Be faith @ 9/1
4.30 Not a deep race and a good chance for recent Kempton winner Velvet Morn, to again make all from a good draw , and a very fair mark.
½ pt win Velvet Morn @ 2/1
5.00 A right puzzle here with a few of the market leaders going up In trip and I’ve made a good case for 6 of the 8 !
Selected Kempton- all weather- polytrack

Boxatricks 4.35 @ 8/1
Altar Boy 5.45 @ 8/1
Iley Boy 6.45 @ 7/4
Cold Harbour 7.15 @ 10/3
4.35 The lightly raced Waqt won well last time but questions to answer tonight up in the weights, trip and from an unhelpful wide draw. Purple Paddy was an ok 3rd last time, which stacks up well in this modest opener but preference is for the nicely drawn Boxoftricks , who was a very decent 3rd over C&D last time out, returning from a break. Very nice ew bet.
1/2pt ew Boxatricks @ 8/1
5.10 Maseru impressed on debut and was fav for a very valuable Class 2 event at York, but only ran an Ok race, but that quality of form is still well good enough to win this with ease, but did pull up lame , goes up in trip and is new to the surface. Bookies offer a carrot at around 4/6, but still too many doubts and no solid ew alternative .
5.45 After winning well on the Newcastle tapeta , Jack Berry house was only a modest 4th at Chelmsford next time, so questions to answer back on polytrack. May Sonic ran well to a point over C&D last time but preference is for the consistent if luckless Altar Boy, who’s very well drawn for a front runner and also a good race make up. He’s effective at the trip and surface and this could be is night at good odds.
1/2pt ew Altar Boy @ 8/1
6.45 Another weak event and a great opportunity for the in form track regular Iley Boy, looks a most solid fav.
3/4pt Win Iley boy @ 7/4
7.15 KIngfast won well last time after a break at Wolver, but is effective on this surface and longer trip no real issue, but the wide draw a worry and this could come a bit soon. Clear preference is for the lightly raced Cold Harbour whose recent runs off around this mark and C&D , gives him strong claims.
3/4pt Win Cold Harbour @ 10/3
7.45 The very wonderful Executive force, 5 wins and 2 places in his last 7 races , is still running to the very top of his game . His winning run started at the Newcastle tapeta off a mark of just 71 and last time was only beaten a length off 97, his mark tonight. He’s run well here before, but is going up markedly in trip , but he’s never the type to rule out. The odds on fav is the lightly raced Collide who won 3 from 6 last year , but all in the mud and is another going up in trip .Hyanna is a likeable type , but has a rare try on polytrack while veteran Noble gift is capable of big runs here and worth a dabble at long odds.
¼ pt win Noble Gift @ 14/1
8.15 Another modest contest and a great chance for Sir Ottoman to double up on his recent win over C&D. He raced prominently that night and expect the same again. Secret Potion was a closing 3rd in that and entitled to get revenge at the weights, but the jockey is returning from a lengthy spell of inactivity so sticking with Sir. Secondo’s form figures are consistent , but they have been in weak affairs.
1/4pt Win Sir Ottoman @ 5/2
