Willkomen 3.00 @ 4/1
Grey Mist 5.10 @ 9/4

2.00 Nothing with real stand out form and looks very open. Brother Bentley has run a couple of good races of late, including over C&d and is chanced from a wide draw.
¼ pt ew Brother Bennett @ 8/1
2.30 Second Collection goes for the C&D hat-trick , and has found a soft race with the majority f his rivals running only modestly at longer trips. He’s 6 pounds higher , which will test, but is likely to have a strongly run race, bringing his strong finish into play. Looks the one but not for me at 5/4.
3.00 This has a winnable look to it and a chance for Willkomen after a close 3rd over C&D when he went for home a long way out . He’s unlikely to have much company up front and if held on to for a little longer, could nail a deserved first win, quite comfortably.
¾ pt win Willkomen @ 4/1
4.05 I back veteran Indian affair quite frequently and have no complaints about the outcomes. He stepped back up to this trip last time and did well coming a close 6th from a bad draw, which he has again tonight, but in a race lacking depth , has decent ew claims.
¼ pt ew Indian Affair @ 9/1
5.10 Grey Mist is 3 from 3 for his new stable winning twice at Newcastle, so the surface is fine, but this is a more benign track, but showed his well being with a fluent win on good ground at Musselburgh, running to a level of 117, which is a massive 81 on the flat, and runs off only 62 today, which is 4 pounds higher than last time. He could probably do with a stiffer test of stamina here, but no doubting his level of form and in this race for amateurs , will be well ridden by Pat Millman and the in form small stable brings him on a 400 mile round trip , and their record here is a very healthy 29% !
¾ pt win Grey Mist @ 9/4
Selected Southwell – all weather- fibresand
2.10 There has been a flood of money for Peruvian Summer who has OK form over C&D and likely the confidence will be rewarded.
½ pt win Peruvian Summer @ 7/4
3.10 a tough race with plenty of god stables running unexposed types. Revamp is fit and brings a decent level of form to the race. The stable does well here with few runners and has dirt winners in his pedigree.
¼ pt win Revamp @ 6/1
3.45 The likeable Bond Angel sluiced in over C&d last time, but the 5 pound hit will take some overcoming giving both Majestic Moon, who is so hard to win with, and Muqarrad chances of revenge, but preference for the down in grade Me Too Nagasaki, who is worth persevering with on this surface.
¼ pt win Me Too Nagasaki @ 5/1
4.15 PREMIUM RACE
5.20 I was with Going Native good style last time, but the young jockey did just too much too soon and credit for the filly for sticking on well , to be 3rd , some way behind Thecornishbaron, who remains very hard to win with. The fav is Loose Chippings who surpassed expectations here last time returning from a lengthy break when an excellent 2nd, but he’s up 6 pounds, down in trip and a prime candidate to “ bounce “ . I’m with Rhona Pinder to be a bit more patient aboard the tip.
½ pt ew Going Native @ 8/1
Selected Newcastle- all weather- tapeta- The track is stiff and galloping
2.20 We have a short priced fav in Rewayyat, who went close last time, but it was on polytrack and over a furlong longer, and his profile is not that appealing anyway. This is not a strong heat and well worth a decent plat on dual C&D winner Duke COsimo , who is a real hold up type and is dependent upon a strong pace up front, which may be forthcoming with both Cuppacocoa and Rockley Point known for getting busy early.
½ pt ew Duke Cosimo @ 16/1
2.50 There will be no hanging about in this with both lopes Dancer and Be perfect likely to go off strong and despite them both being C&D winners, very hard to win here if harried for the lead. The fav is the lightly raced Momtalik who runs for top trainer John Gosden and wears famous colours, but, too many question marks to make him the one at pretty short odds. Royal Cosmic is a most tenacious mare who goes well over C&D, and despite being high in the weights, wull be suited to the likely strong pace. Hat-trick seeker Archive has been held over C&d before off lower marks.
½ pt ew Royal Cosmic @ 13/2
4.25 S good quality Class 3 event and easy to read with track regular Trevithick sure to go as is the likeable Gurkha Friend , who often has disputed the lead and kept it going for the win. HE comes here on the back of a good 3rd at Wolver, so no question marks regarding surface, and track should be Ok.
½ pt ew Gurkha Friend @ 9/1

6.30 Worth chancing High Acclaim going up in trip. Hasn’t been that far away of late and easy to pick holes in his rivals.
¼ pt win High acclaim @ 8/1
7.30 Another race there for the taking and the lack of a pacemaker makes it all the more difficult. I actually like the chance of the outsider in Tiar Na Nog, who won over C&D last year on similar ground and mark, but he tends to need a strongly run event, which is unlikely, but like hic chance more than anything else.
¼ pt ew Tiar Na Nog @ 12/1
No Windsor placepot
Selected Thirsk- good to firm on this flat , galloping and quick track
6.40 George Mallory has had few chances but comes here on the back of a decent 4th at Ponty and every chance this more benign track will help.
¼ pt win George Mallory @ 9/2
7.10 PREMIUM RACE
8.10 Chckenfortea is well drawn for a prominent racer, but has blown the start a few times of late. He’s dropped to a really good mark and this kind of track suits. Nice lively longshot.
¼ pt ew CHickenfortea @ 16/1
