Hopeful of a June 1st start

It now looks likely that Uk racing will resume on June 1st followed by Ireland a week later.

All memberships which were active until the abandonment of domestic horse racing will restart on June 1st and last

for the whole of June .

This is a bonus for all members, which I see as being just .

The pandemic is not over so please look after yourselves and hope very much you've suffered no loss

You remain with a tipster at the very top of the game and in  December I won The Rating The Races

Tipping competition coming out on top of some 250 other entrants.

I was also runner up in the Elite Section of a different online tipster comp

The problems with registration appear to have resurfaced but I have somebody working on it.

If you have problems PLEASE contact me via e-mail .

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Soar home in the 8.20

Selected Yarmouth- soft ground on this flat and galloping track.

2.00  Softer ground the issue for the in form pair of Catapult and Viking way, so in a weak contest, a decent chance for veteran Cliff, who hasn’t been going badly of late and soft ground no issue.

¼ pt win Cliff @ 4/1

4.30 Another veteran here worth a dabble in the usually reliable Glory Awaits, who’s run some good races over C&D of late and no fear of soft ground.

½ pt win Glory Awaits @ 7/1

5.00 The lightly raced Khaan has a hefty penalty for an easy win on the Southwell foibresand and is also unproven on soft ground, as most of this field are. Sonnet rose runs this C&d well and is trusted on slightly slower ground than her last decent effort here. Just gets the nod over the in form Abushamah.

¼ pt win sonnet Rose @ 11/2

Sorry folks, nothing of interest at Fontwell, so swerving the meeting

Selected Haydock- heavy ground on this flat and galloping track

2.20 Swift Wing is well related and expected to win on debut but could only mange 3rd in the Ascot mud and compensation looks well on in this lesser contest. I expected him to be shorter than 8/13, but that’s plenty short for me.

3.20 Understandable that the useful Lorenina is a short priced fav as she is a C&d winner on heavy ground off a similar mark and comes here on the back of a good run at Epsom.

¼ pt win Lorenina @ 7/4

Selected Hamilton- good to soft on this undulating , galloping and stiff track

6.00 Spring Bloom put in a good run first time out when 2nd and likely to go one better tonight.

¼ pt win Spring Bloom @ 6/4

No Hamilton placepot

Selected Kempton- all weather- polytrack

5.50 A tricky opener , an apprentice handicap , and chances can be given to Kingston Kurrajhong and Tamerlane who both have solid C&d form. Lacan is interesting as he really should have landed a claimer , but failed to pick up the front running Come On Tier. When horses drop into claimers you worry if they no longer have the ability to be competitive off their mark , but on the positive side, he was claimed by the good stable of Michael Bell and his first run for this stable wasn’t a terrible effort on fast turf. He has 3 C&d wins on his Cv , and his highest winning mark is 82, so has been given a right chance off just 69. Worth a dabble.

¼ pt win Lacan @ 7/1

6.20 Sir busker is the short priced fav but looks plenty vulnerable to me as he has a 6 pound penalty for bounding clear on the Goodwood mud, in a modest contest which fell apart. He’s a slow starter , so the coveted 1 draw may not be any use , and would do well to win this. It’s hard fancying many in this so happy to trust recent Brighton winner cracking speed , trying polytrack from a good draw.

¼ pt ew Cracking Speed @ 10/1

7.50 A tight sprint with the disappointing yet capable Dizzy G the likely front runner, but on what she did last time, easy to look elsewhere. The capable Indian Tygress is a dual, C&d winner, and while she has clear claims , this late player is on a testing enough mark, so at the odds I’m with the capable Sweet and Dandy, especially back to her best trip.

¼ pt ew Sweet And Dandy @ 12/1

8.20 Very little early pace in this which offers a decent opportunity to the well drawn Soar Above, who landed a hat-trick here at the end of last season, but all in lower grade and marks. She went close over C&d off this mark two starts ago and looks a nice ew bet in a winnable heat. Quick Breath was yet another winning Nap for My Members last time over C&D, in a race where her chance was pretty clear and the 4/1 shot sluiced in by 3 lengths, but the 4 pound hit , may be too much to overcome.

¼ pt ew Soar above @ 11/1
