4.35 Comeonfeeltheforce comes here on the back of a right old demolition job at Kempton in a race which severely fell apart and the double is most unlikely under an 11 pound penalty and the worst of the draw. I fancied Orliko strongly last time but was run down late by some modest types, and also has a bit to prove on this surface. Poetic Motion is holding her form well and after an all the way win at Bath , ran well enough on polytrack when 3rd , again racing from the front, to be a nice ew bet from a good draw.
¼ pt ew Poetic Motion @ 8/1
Selected Sandown- good to form on this stiff and galloping track
A special hello to my lovely niece Louise and her fine chap Mark who are intent on relieving the bookies of plenty of dosh, so hopefully today’s tips will do the trick.
1.50 A Group 3 sprint and well worth trying the very wonderful Caspian Prince, who has been one of my favourite horses in recent years. He just bombs out and has to be caught , and he’s managed that 19 times in his 88 runs. A very reasonable return . he’s getting no younger but tribute to him that he is still worthily rated a lofty 101. He hasn’t been In the best of form pf late but showed plenty of toe in The Epsom Dash last time, until weakening late on. This is an easier task at the weights and despite a wide enough draw , I’m with the excellent Oisin Murphy to make every post a winning post.
¾ pt win Caspian Prince @ 6/1

3.00 Muchly was handed the race on a plate at Ascot a few starts ago when allowed to set steady fractions , then kicked off the front for the win. She wont have a soft lead today with Beyond Reason on the comeback trial, but this one has a bit to prove on fast turf. Hidden Message was the victim behind Muchly at Ascot, as she is a hold up type and finished full of running and has done well since in France in a Group 2 when a close 4th .If, as expected , they go a good gallop, this can be her day.
¾ pt win Hidden Message @ 3/1
3.35 PREMIUM RACE
4.10 I was very much with the lightly raced Make A Wish last time, but after showing plenty of dash , weakened late on at Newmarket . This is better track for a front runner and from the plot draw , worth a dabble in a winnable race.
¼ pt win Make A Wish @ 8/1
4.45 The fav is the lightly raced Falcon Eight who crosses the Irish Sea for the legendary Irish trainer Dermot weld, who rarely raids these shores nowadays , but only has a fair chance at the weights and curiously sports first time cheekpieces, never used by the stable before ! Mohawk was a most costly failure last time out at York, but the soft ground shouldn’t have been a problem. His previous effort when chasing home classy stayer Dee Ex Bee over C&D on form ground would be enough to land this.
¼ pt win Mohawk @ 9/4
5.20 Found myself going in circles with this one, so giving it the swerve
Selected Leicester- good to firm on this stiff and galloping track
1.55 Ever Rock comes here in a hat-trick , winning well both times and the 5 pound I could have been worse. She has a good attitude and this C&D promises to suit.
1/2pt win Ever Rock @ 7/1
3.40 Full marks to Glenn Coco, who comes here on a 5 timer and last time showed that fast turf holds no terrors. He’s only 3 pounds higher and with the ground and probably C&D in his favour, could bag another win and has gone well after a break before.
½ pt win Glenn Coco @ 5/1
Selected Beverley- good to firm on this stiff and galloping track
2.00 The front running King’s Caper should have the edge over only serious rival in Frasard on the draw. but he is 4/5 .
4.20 This has a most winnable look to it and happy to row in with the in form Billy Roberts who did well last time for a front runner at Wolver from a bad draw and also having competition for the lead. He looks good to lead these up and this dual track winner could strike again, at vey nice odds.
½ pt win Billy Roberts @ 6/1
Selected Haydock- good to firm on this flat and galloping track
2.40 Dramatic Queen got the better of the determined Enbiharr at York on similar ground , but uncertain if today’s drop in trip will result in a different outcome. It’s interesting that Danny Tudhope, who rode Dramatic Queen last time has gone for stable companion Klassique, another likeable and useful stayer, but she had a rear view of Enbiharr at Goodwood, which should be repeated as Klassique prefers a bit of give in the ground.
3/4 pt win Enbihaar @ 5/2
3.15 The valuable Class 2 handicap , The Old Newton Cup and the joint favs, the progressive pair of First Eleven and al Muffrih, who both run in famous colours for top stables have both been unlucky in the draw and also are on testing enough marks and the latter also has stamina to prove. Lucius Tiberius runs for Godolphin and has the best of the draw. He’s on a his last wining mark and while this trip has thwarted him in the past. He did Ok at Royal Ascot from a bad draw. This speed track will also help. Lively longshot
1/2 pt ew Lucius Tiberius @ 16/1

No advice for night racing- going to a wedding reception. To be honest, it was hard finding a worthwhile bet anyway
