Hopeful of a June 1st start

It now looks likely that Uk racing will resume on June 1st followed by Ireland a week later.

All memberships which were active until the abandonment of domestic horse racing will restart on June 1st and last

for the whole of June .

This is a bonus for all members, which I see as being just .

The pandemic is not over so please look after yourselves and hope very much you've suffered no loss

You remain with a tipster at the very top of the game and in  December I won The Rating The Races

Tipping competition coming out on top of some 250 other entrants.

I was also runner up in the Elite Section of a different online tipster comp

The problems with registration appear to have resurfaced but I have somebody working on it.

If you have problems PLEASE contact me via e-mail .

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Worth a " Ventura" in the 3.45

Today’s Fortune for a fiver

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Ventura Ocean 3.45 @ 11/2

Farmer Boy 8.20 @ 9/2

Kachumba 6.40 @ 2/1

Selected Wolver- all weather- tapeta

3.00 Ten go to the post and collectively can only muster 1 win in their last 60 races , and that was by Furni Factors, whose recent form is poor. Not a race for a serious bet but the consistent Le Manage Enchante has hit the frame a few times over C&D and from a good draw, could nab an overdue win.

¼ pt ew Le Manage Enchante @ 10/1

5.00 Quite a few big stables have runners in this  low grade handicap , but hard to be sure in this with so many of the form horses either going up in trip or trying this surface for the first time. Gold Fleece has been holding her form well on  turf at this trip and around this mark. Her top stable does well here, so worth a dabble.

¼ pt win Gold Fleece @ 6/1

Selected Ponty- good to firm on this undulating, stiff and galloping track

2.45 Only 3 go in this sprint and easy to read with the out of form Paddington Lane sure to try and make all , but most unlikely to stay there. Three Card Trick is the short priced fav but recent form is pretty woeful so the coast looks clear for the capable Major Blue whose recent 2nd at Bath on form ground makes him likely to be suited to today’s test.

½ pt win Major Blue @ 15/8

3.45 Very few of these come here in good form but the race is pretty easy to read with both Reflektor and Sandras Secret, both highly capable on their best form , but both coming here under a cloud, likely to blast out setting a true gallop. Both Mushariff and Key To Power are happier at the minimum trip while the form horse Tommy Taylor is inconsistent and also so hard to win with. Ventura Ocean opened this season with a bang coming off the pace strongly to win over C&D, beating one that ran well in subsequent races. He’s had excuses in two subsequent races and a return to his early season form can see him going 3 from 3 over C&D on firm ground .

¾ pt win Ventura Ocean @ 11/2

5.15 Edgar Allan Poe is in terrific form and comes here on the back of a good win over C&D , but it did come in an amateur riders race, when ridden by a top jockey . The 5 pound hut will test and gives Quoteline Direct a chance of revenge with a good weight pull and was in a bad place when the race warmed up last time, but finished well. He won this race last year off a similar mark , but at the odds, preference is for the capable Trinity Star who goes well here and this longer trip has seen improved runs of late .

¼ pt win Trinity Star @ @ 13/2

Selected Brighton- good to firm on this undulating, sharp and tricky track

An extraordinarily tricky card with the vast majority of races far from clear cut and chances can be given to many. Just the one play.

6.40 I was very much with track specialist Kachumba last time, but she disappointed. The longer trip was probably the cause and she should be landing this modest event.

½ pt win Kachumba @ 2/1

Selected Uttoxeter- good ground on this gently undulating, quite sharp track with a galloping straight.

6.20 This looks destined to involve the first 3 in the market and the short priced fav is Pacify, a lofty 100 rated flat horse who returned from a lengthy break to snatch a dramatic win at Southwell, the second horse winning since, but was all out in just a fair race, and I’d like to just watch him second race bac after a break. I’m with the consistent Nimby , who didn’t beat much last time, but did look pretty good.

¼ pt win Nimby @ 2/1

6.50 Mahler’s Star is still in search of a first career win after 19 tries, but comes here in the kind of form to be right in the mix and this could possibly drop his way .

¼ pt ew Mahler’s Star @ 13/2

8.20 Youngster Farmer Boy won well 3 starts back and has held his form well since. He went close at Cartmel last time at around this trip, and a similar effort would be well good enough to land this. Two last time winners compete but both are penalised , the drying ground can’t be helping Mrs Miggins and the longer trip no use to Ever So Much.

½ pt win Farmer Boy @ 9/2
