Selected Ayr- good to firm on this flat and galloping track
2.05 The once useful tomily is interesting having his first run for David O’Meara after a confidence restoring win in a weak event last time. The Irish raider Act of Unity would do well to figure under a penalty and going up in trip. Burmese Blazer comes here on the back of a much improved effort over C&D on quick ground and a reproduction of that sees him firmly in the mix.
¼ pt ew Burmese Blazer @8/1

3.10 The back to form forever A Lady must have claims but the young jockey is struggling for winners while professional loser Donnelly’s Rainbow gets full marks for consistency but is so hard to win with and has a change of jockey today, one who’s struggling for winners. Let Right Be done is another who is hard to win with but comes here on the back of an excellent effort over C&D last time making him a nice ew bet.

4.40 This is not a deep event and the capable International Man bounced back to form with an excellent 5th at York in a big field last time and if bringing his A Game, as sometimes he doesn’t, good chance of a return to the winner’s circle.
½ pt win Intenational Man@ 7/2
Selected Ripon- good ground on this undulating and quite sharp track
2.20 Most of these have either been racing on soft ground or longer trips, the exception is orlaith, who showed plenty of ability at Catterick last time , so this C&D should be fine, as will the ground.
1/2 pt win Orllaith 10/3
2.50 A tricky nursery but the consistent Dandizette has good enough form at the trip and ground to go well. The fav is Infinite Grace, who has it to prove down in trip on quick ground.
¼ pt win Dandizette @ 4/1
3.50 This has a winnable loom to it and the well treated C&D winner Bossipop showed a bit more last time and could be away and gone.
¼ pt win Bossipop @ 9/1

Selected Windsor- good to firm on this flat and galloping track.
5.30 This is a very weak contest and made a touch more difficult as it’s for apprentice jockeys. The short priced fav is Tavus, who is with a top stable and showed ability last time, but it was in the Yarmouth mud and as other runs were on the all weather, plenty to prove on quick ground. The ex-Irish Café Sydney is only modest but could be better for the move to Tony Carroll’s stable, who does well with new intakes. Midnight Mood had a very good time of it last year with 2 wins and numerous placed efforts. Her return from a longer than usual break wasn’t overly encouraging, but if back to her best , could well land this at juicy odds and a capable jockey rides.
¼ pt win Midnight Mood @ 9/1
6.00 Not a deep maiden and the bookies look to have got this one right making it a two horse war between Fleeting Prince a good 2nd on debut at Chepstow, but they did finish in a bit of a heap in the small field and this is a very different track and his main rival Hubert, who has started slowly in both runs, which were both over C&d and the latest one was a particularly good effort, coming from a mile back to be 2nd , splitting a pair with decent form. With Oisin Murphy aboard should make it third time lucky.
½ pt win Hubert @ 6/4
7.00 This has a winnable look to it and pretty easy to read with the poorly handicapped Gin Palace and the out of form Sir plato look sure to take them along , but unlikely to stay there. Tamerlane is very consistent but has found wins hard to come by off his new mark , but has run well enough on quick turf at this trip and mark to be in the hunt .
¼ pt ew Tamerlane @ 11/2
7.30 Another race relatively easy to read with the flying Just Glamorous sure to bomb out, but despite a declining mark, doesn’t look likely to cash in on current form. Jumira Bridge bounced back to form last time at his beloved Sandown in what looked a winnable race and could struggle under a penalty on this speed track. Udontdoyou has been going well on the all weather and does have the quick turf form to feature, but worrying he’s been kept away from turf for so long. Wiley Post is a regular here and has dropped to a good mark. He’s well drawn to stalk the flying just Glamorous and sees this trip out well. Nice longshot.
¼ pt ew Wiley Post @ 11/1
8.00 Only four go but you can make a case for all and I’m surprised that the outsider of the field, by some way is the lightly raced Mannaal who’s won 2 of her five races, is very well bred and runs for a top stable. She was only just foiled over C&D 2 starts ago off this mark and ground by one who went on to run well in subsequent efforts. She can be excused a much below par run last time in Listed company, but the soft ground shouldn’t have been that much of an issue. Forgiveness is a wonderful trait.
¼ pt win Mannaal @ 7/1

Selected Wolver- All weather- tapeta
5.30 The Sir Mark Prescott stable is starting to bang out the winners and he is an expert at producing 3yos in handicaps off very workable marks. Year after year he has runners, who were lightly raced as juveniles, usually over trips far too short and he has a number of runners each Summer who rattle off a sequence at stayers trips. He saddles Percy’s Prince who was 4th here last time in a race which looked pretty deep. Toda’s longer trip could see him in an even better light.
½ pt win Percy’s prince @ 11/4
6.10 Milltown Boy was impressive on quick turf at Salisbury last time but under a penalty and trying tapeta for the first time, I have much more regard for Paddy Elliott, who was a relatively cheap purchase but is related to a number of very decent types, many at their best on synthetics. He ran well last time at Newcastle after a break , so is proven on the surface and on breeding this longer trip is the way to go.
½ pt win Paddy Elliott @ 3/1
6.40 Wild Edric has been dropping in the weights and only ran at the weekend , where his chance was undone by a wide draw. He has the plot draw tonight and is a C&D winner and could make all in a winnable heat.
¼ pt win Wild Edric @ 4/1
7.10 Few of these are running well the exception being the front running Lafilia, who has gone close to scoring of late in far better races. She’s likely to take these along and ran well here before until the extra yardage took its toll. Wont get a better chance to nab a deserved win .
¾ pt win Lafilia @ 9/4
