£5 treble- pays £100
Native Fighter 2.45 @ 3/1
Calippo 1.45 @ 5/6
Zolfo 4.15 @ 7/4
Selected Market Rasen- good ground on this mostly flat and sharp track
2 10 A big day for the course with its two top races of the season being run, and this is the Class 1 Summer Hurdle. Lomghouse Sale is an incredible 8 from 8 and may well be ahead of the game , despite a mark of 141 in his first handicap, we’ll now for sure a bit later. Al of Fransham, St Gallen and Valentino Dancer are young and progressive hurdlers but I’m splitting my stake on the Alan King pair in Dino Velvet , who is still on a workable mark, and things haven’t panned out for him of late , and Passing Call, who is plainly a ridiculous price on her chance.
¼ pt ew Dino Velvet @ 16/1 Passing Call @ 50/1- why not, a small rev fc
2.40 Full marks to Global Tour , 4 wins and a 3rd in his last 5 runs, but is now on a really testing mark and preference Is for the back to form Native Fighter, who won well over C&d last time and is only 3 pounds higher. Only concern is the lack of early pace for this late player.
½ pt win Native Fighter @ 3/1
3.20 PREMIUM RACE
5.05 Witness in Court looked good winning at Perth at this trip two starts back , and this is not a big ask.
¼ pt win Witness In Court @ 7/2
Market Rasen placepot
Selected Ripon – good ground on this undulating and quite sharp track
1.45 Looks a facile task for Capillo .

¼ pt ew Appointed @ 13/2
5.15 It wasn’t a bad effort at all by Alqaab last time giving the impression this longer trip will suit. Nice Longshot
¼ pt ew Alqaab @ 16/1
Selected Newbury- soft ground on this flat and galloping track
2,25 PREMIUM RACE
3.00 A couple of useful sprinters who are at their best in the mud in Donjuan Triumphant, Snazzy Jazzy and The Tin Man, but on recent form, nod goes to the former.
¼ pt ew Donjuan Triumphant @ 5/1
3.40 The very valuable Super Sprint and despite the massive field , there is a very short priced fav in the useful Ventura Rebel, who has a clear form edge over his rivals and no issue with soft ground, but 5/4 in a field of 25 is not a mouth watering prospect. Great Dame could be well drawn hard up against the stands rails and is proven on soft ground and has been keeping pretty warm company and running well. Lovely lively longshot.
¼ pt ew Great Dame @ 40/1
Selected Cartmel- soft ground on this flat, sharp track with a very long run in.
2.30 PREMIUM RACE
3.05 PREMIUM RACE
4.15 zolfo won well here two starts back on soft ground and was an unlucky faller last time. This longer trip is no issue and looks a very solid fav.
¾ pt win Zolfo @ 7/4
4.50 Dun Faw Good has been going well of late and landed this last year off a slightly lower mark. The ground is soft enough, but still a nice longshot.
¼ pt ew Dun Faw Good @ 12/1
No Cartmel placepot
Selected Newmarket- good ground on this undulating, galloping and stiff track
2.40 Blue Gardenia has been keeping some hot company and hasn’t been disgraced . She ran Ok in The Oaks last time and of course this is much easier.
¼ pt ew Blue Gardenia @ 8/1
3.50 Drying ground wont be in the favour of the penalised Indeed while the prolific Global Gift would do well to land the 4 timer up in grade and the ratings. Circus Couture won off this mark two starts back, so has to be a lively longshot in an open contest.
¼ pt ew Circus Couture @ 16/1
5.35 After landing a 4 timer, Glenn Coco ran his usual honest race returning from a break. He could be a little high in the weights now, but this is winnable.
¼ pt win Glenn Coco @ 9/2
Selected The Curragh- good ground on this undulating, galloping track
2,50 Back to her best trip and favoured by the weights, a decent opportunity for the capable Leagan Gaeilige.
¼ pt win Leagan Gaelige @ 5/1
3.25 PREMIUM RACE
4.35 The Irish Oaks and the question is whether Iridessa can confirm track form over Pink Dogwood over this longer trip , which on pedigree is doubtful.Pink Dogwood was an excellent 2nd In The oaks, with Fleeting close behind and this one has held her form well since, and looks a nice ew play.
¼ pt ew Fleeting @ 6/1
NO Curragh placepot
Selected Doncaster- good to soft on this flat and galloping track
5.40 Not for the first time ,Bashiba ran well over C&D last time off his declining mark and very decent chance of landing a winnable opener .
¼ pt ew Bashiba @ 10/3
7.45 Byron’s Choice took off last year landing a hat-trick in a short season and has done plenty enough in his last two starts to be a most lively longshot in a winnable event .
¼ pt ew Byron’s Choice @ 14/1
8.15 Not a deep contest and the in form Autumn War ticks comfortably the most boxes.
¼ pt win Autumn War @ 5/2
8.45 Hard to get excited about the prospects of most of these and the well treated Menin Gate hasn’t been that far away at this trip off higher marks and for this stable, first time cheekpieces a positive.
¼ pt ew Menin Gate @ 16/1
Selected Haydock- good to soft on this flat and galloping track
6.00 Mayfair Spirit has won 3 of his last 4, the latest over C&D on similar ground and can go in again off a 3 pound higher mark in a winnable heat.
¼ pt ew Mayfair Spirit @ 2/1
7.00 the soft ground is the problem for recent winner Prevent but it’s no issue for the capable Regal Mirage who’s run a few good races of late and is nicely drawn.
¼ pt ew Regal Mirage @ 13/2
8.00 A good step in the right direction for Quench Dolly last time out off a declining mark when a close 3rd over C&d on similar ground and this is not a big ask.
¼ pt win Quench Dolly @ 4/1
