Hoping for Jubilation in July

June was a very difficult month with a stack of long priced unlikely winners and many horses with very solid chances

running way below their chance. As the month went on, the winners started coming and i found a number of double

figure odds winners . We came out with a loss but the laying service managed a small profit . Racing is more settled

and I expect a far better level of success in July .

You remain with a tipster at the very top of the game and in  December I won The Rating The Races

Tipping competition coming out on top of some 250 other entrants.

I was also runner up in the Elite Section of a different online tipster comp

The problems with registration appear to have resurfaced but I have somebody working on it.

If you have problems PLEASE contact me via e-mail .

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Where's Jeff ?? Winning the 4.35

Today’s Fortune for a fiver

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Where’s Jeff 4.35 @ 4/1

Warning Fire 4.50 @ 3/1

Aperitif 5.15 @ 2/1

Selected Chelmsford City- all weather- polytrack

2.45 Not a deep contest and the drop ingrade and trip should enable Mon Frere to open his account.

¼ pt win Mon Frere @ 2/1

3.20 This looks a bit of a penalty kick for the back to form Prince Of rome from the plot draw and also over a C&d he runs well.

½ pt win Prince of Rome @ 9/4

5.10 & 5.40

Trainer Christine Dunnett’s horses are going well and I’ll be playing anew double on her runners in these two races who both come here in good shape and run the C&D well. Both ridden by Liam Keniry , who rides the track well.

¼ pt ew Double Percy Topliss @ 6/1  Hidden Dream @ 8/1

Chelmsford City placepot

Selected Thirsk- good to soft on this flat and galloping track- speed track

2.50 The well treated Alsvinder responded well to an ease in the ratings last time, the run coming on soft ground and looks a nice ew bet in a winnable heat.

¼ pt ew Alsvinder @ 9/1

3.25 Flying Pursuit drips in the ratings and in grade and has the ground  on his side. This trip does stretch his stamina but wasn’t beaten far at this distance in a big field At York when 4th . Could be away and gone around this tight track from a good draw.

½ pt win Flying Pursuit @ 7/1

4.35 Where’s Jeff is a terrific racehorse with a cracking win record. The 4 pound hit demands more , but this is not a deep race and can go in again.

¾ pt win Where’s Jeff @ 4/1

Thirsk placepot

Selected Goodwood- good to firm on this undulating, sharp and tricky track

1.50 Not a great deal of early pace in this and this could allow the free going Ballyquin to pinch a few lengths up front and he sews the trip out really well. He’s been nudged up the weights but the booking of big race jockey James Doyle , more than makes up for that . The ultra consistent Puds must come into calculations as he runs the track so well . Lat year’s winner Tommy G was also 2nd the year before and will have maximum assistance from SDS , but recent runs require a leap of faith,

¼ pt ew Ballyquin @ 10/1

2.25 The very wonderful Kings Advice 7 from 8 this season and a 10/1 winner for Premium Tip Members last time , has to be on the shortlist despite the 7 pound hit. He’s trained by Mark Johnston, whose had a terrific time of things here this week and runs another typically tough sort in Charles Kingsley, who is 1 from 1 at this trip , and is only 3 pounds higher for the cosy win. Gets the nod.

½ pt win Charles Kingsley @ 5/1

4.15 Berkshire Rocco was heavily backed on his debut but couldn’t recover from a tardy start and was green early on, but the penny certainly dropped and ran on really well. Worth a dabble.

¼ pt win Berkshire Rocco @ 7/2

4.50 The front running and ultra consistent Warning Fire was 2nd here a few days ago and the drop in trip and the 3 pound ease in the weights, spells very much another winner for Mark Johnston .

½ pt win Warning Fire @ 3/1

5.25 Despite being a long losing run Ventura knight is rarely far away and ran well for Mark Johnston just a few days ago. This looks winnable as most are on testing marks and not racing at their best trip.

¼ pt win Ventura Knight @ 4/1

Goodwwod placepot

No advice from Galway today

Selected Newmarket- good to firm on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

No Newmarket placepot

Selected Doncaster

2.20 With both Baasem and Langholm likely to try and make all, this could compromise both these penalised runners and this should be fought out by the pair chosen for the fc.

¼ pt rev fc Skerrymore- Bullion Boss

2.55 Genever Dragon wasn’t beaten far at all at Haydock on soft ground and can land this modest maiden.

½ pt win Genever Dragon @ 3/1

5.15 Hat-trick seeker Apertif has her favoured soft ground and despite a nudge up the weights, looks good to go in again in a winnable heat.

½ pt win Aperitif @ 2/1

Doncaster placepot

Selected Lingfield- good to firm on this undulating and sharp track

4.55 Despite the big field few with a serious chance and a good opportunity for the in form Captain Sedgewick to nail a deserved win under a capable rider in this apprentices handicap.

1/2pt win Captain Sedgewick @ 3/1

5.30 Wren is 1 from 1 but it was on the all weather and carries a penalty. Commit No Nuisance has very decent turf form and promises to be suited by the longer trip .

¼ pt win Commit No Nuisance @ 4/1

6.05 Not a deep heat and the in form Magical Ride should be well good enough to possibly make all up the “ Golden Highway” on the very favoured stands rails.

½ pt Win Magical Ride @ 5/2

6.35 Another big field and again few with a clear chance. The short priced fav is hat-trick seeking Bay Watch who I’m well happy to take on under a big penalty and up in trip.Urban Highway doesn’t win many, but this is his easiest task for a long time.

½ pt win Urban Highway @ 4/1

7.35 The lightly race Whimsical dream won really well over C&D last time and a 3 pound penalty most unlikely to stop the double in a weak heat , especially as main rival Shifting gold has stamina doubts.

¾ pt win whimsical Dream @ 11/8

Lingfield placepot

6 bets

Selected Hamilton- good to soft on this undulating, galloping and stiff track

6.20 A clear opening for the consistent Bedtime Bella to nail that elusive first win.

½ pt win Bedtime Bella @ 6/4

6.50 Yes You showed a lot more last time and back over a more suitable C&D and ground looks a cracking ew bet in a winnable race.

½ pt ew Yes You @ 6/1

7.20 Soft ground is the worry for useful sprinter Corinthia knight but no worry for the useful C&d winner Tarboosh who should take this Class 3 sprint well.

½ pt win Tarboosh @ 2/1

7.50 Not a deep race and a decent opportunity for Beechwood Jude to double up with ground , trip and probably track in his favour.

¼ pt win Beechwood Jude @ 5/2

8.20 A wide open big field handicap but the softer ground and good draw will help the consistent Millie The Minx to achieve a first win on the flat.

¼ pt ew Minnie The Minx @ 7/1

8.50 Set in stone won well over C&D last time on similar ground and looks good for the double in a modest finale.

½ pt win Set In Stone @ 11/4

Hamilton placepot
