Hoping for Jubilation in July

June was a very difficult month with a stack of long priced unlikely winners and many horses with very solid chances

running way below their chance. As the month went on, the winners started coming and i found a number of double

figure odds winners . We came out with a loss but the laying service managed a small profit . Racing is more settled

and I expect a far better level of success in July .

You remain with a tipster at the very top of the game and in  December I won The Rating The Races

Tipping competition coming out on top of some 250 other entrants.

I was also runner up in the Elite Section of a different online tipster comp

The problems with registration appear to have resurfaced but I have somebody working on it.

If you have problems PLEASE contact me via e-mail .

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

On the (Small) Face of it, a good bet in the 4.50

Chester Fortune for a fiver

£5 treble- pays £100 !

Major Jumbo 3.10 @ 5/4

Oh Purple Reign 4.15 @ 5/4

Sha La La La Lee 4.50 @ 3/1

Selected Market Rasen- good ground on this flat and sharp track- speed track

1.20 Whisky and Water won over C&d last time on similar ground beating what Will Be and should certainly confirm the form. They both have penalties to carry, but it should rest between this pair late on.

½ pt win Whiskey And Water @7/4

3.30 This is not deep and the reliable Jot En Down has been holding his form well enough to upgrade a few placed efforts into a deserved win.

¼ pt win Jot Em Down @ 7/2

4.05 Midnight Request was the outsider of the field last time , which looked about right, and looked a sitting duck as he went to the front with a host of well fancied types stalking him every stride, but he just kept on plugging away and came home a ready winner. The 4 pound hit looks manageable , especially In this winnable race. The stable has brought him a long way for this and they’ve done well here in the past.. his firm prior to the win was very patchy, but at good odds, worth a nice bet.

½ pt win Midnight Request @ 10/1

4.40 Ulysses is another in the growing list to improve significantly for the move to Dan Skelton’s stable , sluicing in with ease. The 7 pound hit  looks well manageable, but the big drop in trip could test, so worth trying recent gritty course winner Rococo Style .

¼ pt ew Rococo Style @ 8/1

Selected Chester- good to soft on this flat and sharp track where a low draw and a handy pitch both big advantages.

2.00 Dream Kart is all about speed so should be well suited to this track . He’s well drawn to attack and has decent form  on a soft surface. The King of Chester, fellow Scouser Fran Norton takes the ride and could be yet another all the way winner at Chester.

½ pt win Dream Kart @ 4/1

3.10 A valuable Class 1 and looks destined for last year’s runner up in Major Jumbo , who is well drawn today and no issues with the soft ground . He’s been running well in the face of stiff tasks in hot races and comes out best in at the weights. The clear danger is the well drawn and mud loving Vintage Brut , who will endeavour to make all but is likely to be run down by the tip’s strong finish. The bang in form Angel Alexander, 3 wins in his last 5, including 2 here , looks sure to be caught out by the rise in grade, longer trip and worse of the draw.

¾ pt win Major Jumbo @ 5/4.

4.15 A quality Class 2 for juveniles with the flying Monoski sure to take them along but the form of Oh Purple Reign is stronger and handled soft ground well last time.

¾ pt win Oh Purple Reign @ 5/4

4.50 Sha La La La lee is a terrific racehorse who was an all the way winner over C&D earlier in the season on soft ground and off just a 2 pound lower mark. He’s held is form well since despite uncharacteristically missing the break in his last two, but still ran well. He has the best of the draw and the first time cheekpieces could help. If he leads up, could be all over.

¾ pt win Sha La La La Lee @ 3/1

Selected Galway – good ground on this undulating and stiff track- but rain forecast so ground could soften.

No Galway placepot
