Hoping for Jubilation in July

June was a very difficult month with a stack of long priced unlikely winners and many horses with very solid chances

running way below their chance. As the month went on, the winners started coming and i found a number of double

figure odds winners . We came out with a loss but the laying service managed a small profit . Racing is more settled

and I expect a far better level of success in July .

You remain with a tipster at the very top of the game and in  December I won The Rating The Races

Tipping competition coming out on top of some 250 other entrants.

I was also runner up in the Elite Section of a different online tipster comp

The problems with registration appear to have resurfaced but I have somebody working on it.

If you have problems PLEASE contact me via e-mail .

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Purple to Reign in the 3.55

Today’s Fortune for a fiver

6 50p doubles 4 25p trebles & 50p ew acca

Mistiroc 3.40 @ 4/1

Miss Icon 4.20 @ 4/1

Wells De lune 3.15 @ 3/1

Oh purple reign 3.55 @ 5/1

Selected Southwell- all weather – fibresand

1.50 Plenty of money for Filbert Street on his firs run for top track trainer Mike Appleby, but 2/1 not an attractive punt and here it’s always best sticking to runners proven on this specialist surface. The in form pair of Fly True and Ticks the Boxes are proven over C&D, but both are now on testing marks and preference is for Atlanta Queen who on 3 tries here has 2 wins and a place and despite a couple of tame efforts on turf of late, she is a very different prospect here.

¼ pt win Atlanta Queen @ 6/1

2.25 Track specialist Gorgeous General has been generally holding his form well on turf, but remains on a stiff mark and is arguably better at the minimum trip. Tan hasn’t been firing of late but has dropped in grade and to a good mark and is effective here. Chancing him to land a winnable heat.

¼ pt win Tan @ 4/1

No Southwell placepot

Selected Epsom- good ground on this undulating, sharp and tricky track

1.55 Nat Love is the clear form horse but is looking expensive to follow with 3 seconds from 5 starts , making odds of 8/13 easy to pass on.

No Bet

2.30 Full marks to Sonia Henie , who’s pretty lightly raced and after landing a Wolver handicap in tenacious style from the front went on to  run a big race , again from the front at Windsor when just chinned by a progressive with 5 lengths back to the 3rd, so an unlucky defeat . A couple of concerns is of course the track and the drying ground, but she’s likely to try and make all again , but just a small play.

¼ pt win Sonja Henie @ 7/4

3.40 The amateur riders Derby and the John Quinn stable has secured the services of probably the best amateur around in Jamie Codd , who travels across The Irish Sea for this event. He rides Mistiroc who is without doubt well handicapped but is on a long losing run, but recent efforts off slightly higher marks none too shabby and this not a big ask. The fav is the in form Allegiant , but this one is 6 pounds higher when just an ok second over C&D a few starts back.

½ pt win Mistiroc @ 4/1

Epsom placepor

Selected Chepstow- good to firm on this undulating, galloping and quite stiff track

2.00 the hat-trick seeking Major Valentine has to be considered despite a testing mark and is a 4 rime C&D winner, but is not the only track specialist as the front running Bungee Jump is 3 from 3 here , and despite a tough mark, it could be manageable in this event. Both Gambon and A Sure welcome have a bit to do off new marks and on drying ground while Dark Shadow hasn’t impressed at this trip. The tip will aim for an all the way win.

¼ pt win Bungee Jump @ 4/1

2.35 Diamond Shower has a clear advantage on official ratings, but hasn’t been convincing at all of late. Hellofaqueen has been going quite well of late and this front runner could take a deal of catching in a weak heat.

½ pt win Hellovaqueen @ 2/1

4.20 Miss Icon did well running 2nd on polytrack last time and will welcome the return to this C&D, the scene of her last win and can land this winnable event. The fav is the back to form Clem A but the penalty and the switch to quick turf both negatives.

½ pt win Miss Icon @ 4/1

4.55 Distant Chimes is a perfect 4 from 4 this year and is best run was last time, first attempt at this trip, but all wins have come on the all weather, so an acid test today for this odds on shot.

No Bet

5.30 Finding it hard to split the in form pair of Celtic Classic and Menin Gate , both in form and proven on the ground and trip , which is a lot more than can be said about the other market fancy in Tamok.

1/4pt rev fc Celtic Classic- Menin Gate

Chepstow placepot

12 bets

Selected Cartmel- good to soft on this flat and sharp track

2.05 Heavey had to work hard to prevail last time and is up against a couple of Jimmy Moffat horses, the leading trainer here , and it looks likely that Mega Double and Aptly Put will fight this one out.

¼ pt rev  fv Aptly Put, Mega Double

2.40 Not a deep novice event and What Will Be carried his penalty well last time when a good 3rd and looks a very solid fav.

½ pt win  What Will Be @ 5/1

3.15 They’ll have to name a race after Wells De lune here  as in 6 tries he has 5 wins a place and his only defeat came last time out , but it was another terrific effort on ground plenty soft enough and over a trip far enough. He’ll be wanting to dominate, as will a few others here, including the progressive youngster Teaser, who is 2 from 2 over fences and we can expect Addrastos and Ardera Cross also likely to join in , which gives the in form Nietschke a great race make up being s hold up type., but have to stick with the track star.

½ pt win Wells De lune @ 3/1

4.25 A big ask for the in form Asockstar under a massive penalty so preference for Old Salt who is 1 from 1 over C&D, which counts for plenty here.

¼ pt win Old Salt @ 9/2

5.00 A wide open handicap with so many in form runners who are effective over C&D and ground, but slight preference for Dr Robin, who comes  here in a 4 timer and has won his last two here.

¼ pt win Dr Robin @ 7/1

Cartmel placepot

Selected Ripon- good ground on this undulating , quite sharp and tricky track

2.10 Quite a big field for this juvenile seller and the stand out piece of form belongs to last time winner Queens Blade, who made all last time at Redcar for a good win in thus grade. This is a very different track, but if leading , could be away and gone in a weak event.

½ pt win Queens Blade @ 2/1

2.45 Quite a tricky small field handicap but the consistent Flying dragon has struggled at the trip in the past . Both fragrant Dawn and Highwayforgrey are rarely far away at this trip , but the nod goes to the up in trip Fume, who looks overpriced for his chance.

¼ pt win Fume @ 9/1

3.20 Both The Trader and Amber Spark have theform to figure but both come here on the back of weak runs. Southern Rock is a reliable sort, but is now on a tough enough mark, but remains the likely winner.

NO Bet

3.55 A good quality Listed Sprint for juveniles and on official ratings Platinum Star will take some beating and another Southern raider in Lambeth Walk also has the form to feature, but all of Sir Boris, Betty’s Hope and Oh purple Reign demand maximum respect. Lovely race to watch but the consistent Oh purple reign could surprise

1/2 pt win Oh Purple Reign @ 5/1
