Expecting an Awesome August

The problems with registration have resurfaced but I have a professional working on it and hopefully

will be sorted soon. If you are registering for the first time, once submitting, a message will be displayed

that the application failed .That is so, but once you submit you are still registered on the site .

If this happens please contact me at john@racehorsetipster.com and I can activate your account manually .

It's not ideal but the site has been the target of hackers which has left its mark .

We came out of July with a profit for Premium Tip Singles, and very healthy profits for both

Premium Tip multis and lays .The Multis came out with a profit of £151 , ROI 39%

and the lays a profit of 24pts , 23% ROI.

The laying service remains popular with members as all of the lays are very short odds ,

so the downside small , but I've a proven record finding vulnerable short odds runners

The problems with registration appear to have resurfaced but I have somebody working on it.

If you have problems PLEASE contact me via e-mail .

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Todays FREE tips wording2

Should be all " Over" in the 2.00

Today’s Fortune for a fiver 3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Overpriced Mixer 2.00 @ 2/1

Lyndon  B 3.50 @ 13/8

Charlie’s Boy @ 5/1

Selected Bangor- good ground on this flat and sharp track

2.20 Chasma did well to win on her first start for Dan Skelton , taking the step up in trip in her stride , but an 8 pound  hit gives the edge to the inform Powerful Symbol in a race that looks like a match.

¼ pt win Powerful Symbol @ 5/2

3.30 Prettyyoungthing returned from a long break with a good win and as she backed that up with a good 2nd at Perth, when down in trip, she appears to have avoided he bounce ! Bit worrying that she’s been easy to back today and can’t see a reason why that should be . Nice bet indeed at the odds.

½ pt win Prettyoungthing @ 7/1

No Bangor placepot

Selected Thirsk- probably good ground on this flat and galloping track- speed track.

2.00 It should very well be 3rd time lucky for Overpriced Mixer ,  2nd in his lat two runs, both times running to a level well good  enough to land this. He’s a prominent racer, well drawn and in form trainer Jamie Osborne brings him on the 370 mile round trip and is 1 from 2 with runners here .

¾ pt win Overpriced Mixer @ 2/1

4.45  Charlies Boy improved last time for the step up in trip and that form is well enough to land this winnable event.

½ pt win Charlie’s Boy @ 5/1

5.45 The veteran B Fifty Two is in terrific form and another good run is on the cards over a C&D he runs well.

¼ pt ew B Fifty Two @ 5/1

Thirsk placepot

Selected Sandown – good to firm on this stiff and galloping track

3.50  Lyndon B has taken off of late and after his excellent 3rd at Goodwood, he’ll be far more at home on this stiff and galloping track.

½ pt win Lyndon B @ 13/8

Sandown placepot

Night Racing Fortune for a fiver

50p ew Trixie & 50p ew treble

Yasir 4.30 @ 10/1

Retirement Beckons 5.55 @ 9/2

Jabbarr @ 20/1

Selected The Curragh- good ground on this undulating, galloping and stiff track

4.20 A short priced fav in Aidan O’brien’s Mogul, a good 2nd on debut, but Curragh maidens are usually deep affairs and I wouldn’t recommend a play at odds on .

No Bet

4.50 A group 3 for juveniles and the fav is Cayenne Pepper who has looked good thus far and is 2 from 2 . So wonderful is hard to win with and despite a drop in grade easy to take on. I’m having a dabble on Brook of Fifth who beat 28 others when sl on debut, so must have an engine.

¼ pt win Brook of Fifth @ 11/4

5.20 I was very much with Guildsman at Glorious Goodwood, but what could go wrong went wrong with a tardy start and then a series of traffic problems, so wise to draw a line through that. Prior to that he had run good races in Group company and is the clear form horse and of course always worth noting anything that crosses The Irish Sea.

½ pt win Guildsman @ 9/2

No Curragh Placepot

Selected Wolver- all weather- tapeta

4.30 A race for amateur jockeys so what’s above the addle very much as important as what’s below. Percy Proseco comes here in winning form after a dour victory in the Catterick mud, but has a hefty penalty and unproven over this C&D. The veteran Yasir loves it here and has 7 wins at the track. He’s now an 11yo but still going well. he’s down to a good mark despite running respectably of late and will get maximum assistance from the excellent Serena Brotherton in the saddle .

½ pt ew Yasir @1 10/1

5.05 the well drawn Mystical Moon has dropped to a good mark and is well drawn  to take an ideal handy sit. He’s proven over C&D and could possibly take this all the way.

¼ pt win Mystical Moon @ 6/1

6.35 The followers of Fairy Fast are losing patience with so many close calls , but wins proving elusive. This is not a deep contest and this could just drop his way.

¼ pt win Fairy Fast @ 6/1

Wolver placepot

No advice from Down Royal

Selected Hamilton- good to soft currently but wall to wall rainfall forecast so going likely to be testing

The track is undulating, stiff and galloping

4.55 A very tricky nursery as few of these have encountered deep ground. Havana Dawn landed her maiden on softish ground and comes here on the back of a decent 3rd at Leicester off this mark.

½ pt ew Havana Dawn @ 14/1

5.25 Flylikeaneagle toughed it out at Beverly on soft ground so should be fine here in the mud. He carries the dreaded penalty , but could be hard to beat.

½ pt win Flylikeaneagle @ 2/1

5.55 It’s hard to knock the consistent retirement Beckons and is effective both over C&D and on soft ground. The recent 3 pound hit could have been worse and is preferred to the massively in form kodimoor, 3 wins and a 2nd in his last 4 , but goes up in trip and stamina an issue tonight, while Irish raider ocean Air won well over C&d last time, but has a hefty penalty and faces very different ground conditions.

½ pt ew Retirement Beckons @ 9/2

6.25 Never Be Enough has 3 wins here and soft ground no issue. He’s a bit high in the weights  but this is not a big ask and will be hard to beat.

½ pt win Never Be enough @ 7/4

6.55 One of the track’s biggest races of the season, the Class 3 Lanark Silver Bell and plenty of inform types compete in an open event. The very likeable youngster Sapa Inca is poorly drawn and does have a few questions to answer on deep ground on this stiff circuit. Theglasgowarrior has a terrific record here but deep ground would scupper his chance, Jabbarr is a right mudlark and also runs this C&D well and from a good draw looks a very lively longshot.

½ pt ee Jabbaar @ 20/1

8.00 The veteran I’ll Be good has come bsck to life of late and every drop of rain in his favour as is this track. Certainly running well enough to be involved in the finish.

½ pt ew I’ll Be Good @ 9/1

Hamilton placepot

Selected Newcastle- all weather- tapeta, the track is stiff and galloping

7.15 Home Before Dusk won really well here a few starts back and has generally held his form well since. This longer trip is a positive as is Danny Tudhope in the saddle.

½ pt win Home Before Dusk @ 2/1

7.45 Top trainer John Gosden has a habit of introducing smart newcomers at this track and runs Cape Palace, a £300,000 purchase and has Group 1 entries. He is 6 from 12 with newcomers here , which makes  odds of 8/13 unattractive .

No bet

8.15 Kentuckyconnection’s only win in the last 4 years came here and has been running well enough to be of interest in a winnable race.

¼ pt ew Kentuckyconnection @ 6/1

Newcastle placepot
