Selected Chester- good to soft on this flat and sharp track – a low number in the draw a big edge .
1.50 There was money for Cognac on debut here but after leading for most of the trip, weakened late on and was well behind both Breathalyse and the New Marman, but made no mistake next time with an all the way win at Musselburgh .. The question is whether he has improved since his debut run to gain revenge, and even if he has, the form of Brethalyser looks stronger. He did little wrong again her last time when running on strongly to be a good 2nd and today’s longer trip and softer ground in his favour.
¾ pt win Breathalyze @ 11/8
2.25 The well drawn Know No Limits is a regular here and already has struck twice round The Roodee. She likes to front run , but is looking a bit high in the weights. Powettrain is the short priced Fav, but does go up in trip and the top Southern stable’s record here is only modest. Ambyfaeirvine ran below expectations last time , but is well drawn and previous form gives him ew claims, but sticking with the track specialist.
¼ pt win Know No Limits @ 7/2

3.30 I was with Arcanada last time here over C&d, but ran poorly and nowadays has two ways of running, so prefer to look elsewhere. Penworthan has run well in this race for the last two years and comes here in decent form, despite a testing mark .Topweight Sir Maximillian is now in the veteran stage , but is no back number and comes here on the back of a good effort at Goodwood last time . He goes up in trip which is an unknown but is well drawn , runs this track very well and is ridden by The king of Chester, fellow Scouser, Fran Norton.
¼ pt ew Sir Maximillian @ 9/1
5.15 The very likeable Baltic Prince is well drawn to take these along and runs this C&D very well. He comes here in his usual good form , but is partnered by a very inexperienced rider in a race for amateur jockeys.Bell heather can be relied upon to run her race, she’s run well here before, wont mind the ground and Pat Millaman one of he best amateurs around.
1/4pt ew Bell Heather @ 8/1
No advice from Listowel
Selected Doncaster- good to firm on this flat and galloping track
2.10 PREMIUM RACE
2.40 Vey tricky and you can give most a good chance.
3.10 Stradivarius must a be a candidate for racehorse of the year as he is 4 from this season winning all of the top staying events and each time , Dee ex Bee has chased him home , always hiving him a good race , and has claims today at improved weights, but the fav is so hard to beat.
3.45 The bookies have this as a match , and that looks an accurate appraisal of an uncompetitive Group 2 for juvenile sprinters, but Irish raider Alligator Alley looks the one to be on as he is proven on this kind of track and fast ground, unlike his chief rival A’Ali .
¾ pt win Alligator Alley @ 13/8
4.20 Visinari has the best form but floundered at this trip last time and all 4 of his rivals have made very promising starts to their careers.
5.30 PREMIUM RACE
Selected Sandown- good to firm on this stiff and galloping track
2.20 A short priced fav in the well drawn Spreadsheet, who has the best form, but does drop a massive two furlongs and could struggle against sprint specilists. Sand diego has most solid form at this trip including over C&d , but there are a couple here who have showed promise and could benefit going down In trip . Many A Star was a costly purchase and has showed plenty of early dash over longer trips and is well drawn to make an all the way bid .
¼ pt ew Many A Star @ 10/1
2.50 Our Oystercatcher did really well making all last time over C&D from an unfavourable draw and lightning has struck twice as again drawn wide, , but despite the 4 pound hit , not ruled out. Indian Raj was a very disappointing fav in that race and the drying ground is no help. Dr Doro won well last time and not weighted out of this.
¼ pt win Dr Doro @ 5/1
3.20 Miss Yoda is the short priced fav after her debut win, which came on the all weather, so will do well to win under a penalty against a couple of decent juveniles in Global Storm and Impatient, who just gets the nod on the draw.
¼ pt win Impatient @ 9/2
3.55 Plenty of in form types here, none more so than 4 timer seeking Alfred Boucher, but he’s now on a testing mark , but most of these are. It’s just down to who has a bit up his sleeve coming into this and it’s likely to be the lightly raced Siglo Six , a smart winner over C&D last time.
¼ pt win Siglo Six @ 9/2
4.30 Many of these are on long losing runs so worth siding with Glenn Coco , who rattled off a 4 timer earlier in the season and while the handicapper now looks in charge , he hasn’t been beaten far off this mark and a nice ew bet .
¼ pt ew Glenn Coco @ 8/1
5.05 PREMIUM RACE
5.35 Big ask for course specialist My Boy Sepoy under a hefty penalty while Secret Bay is better on the all weather. Zorro is on a long losing run and first time tongue tie unlikely to help. The consistent Elhafi is likely to land one of these soon as he’s been close up in his last 4 races , all at this trip and ground no issue.
¼ pt win Elhafei @ 7/2
No advice from Salisbury tonight- a trappy card and can’t find anything worth a bet- there’s always tomorrow
