Expecting A Joyful January

December  was a satisfactory month with small profits for Premium Tip singles  and lays

and was the 9th winning month in succession for Premium Tip Members   !

You remain with a tipster at the very top of the game and in  December I won The Rating The Races

Tipping competition coming out on top of some 250 other entrants.

I was also runner up in the Elite Section of a different online tipster comp

The problems with registration appear to have resurfaced but I have somebody working on it.

If you have problems PLEASE contact me via e-mail .

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Don't "Quit" on him in the 5.25

Sorry folks, been through all the races , as usual, and hard to recommend many worthwhile bets. There’s always tomorrow

Selected Ascot – very soft ground on this stiff and galloping track

2.35 I’ll Have Another comes out best in at the weights but the soft ground is not in her advantage. Her stablemate Sapa Inca, a cracking filly did well enough on the Hamilton mud last time to be worth a play at longish odds to last out the extra yardage.

¼ pt ew Sapa Inca @ 11/1

4.55 Aplomb is happiest when the mud is flying and remains on a workable mark and stiff track no problem.

¼ pt win Aplomb @ 4/1

No ascot placepot

No plays at Hexham with the ground now heavy and with so few runners suited to the ground and they not guaranteed to appreciate this stiff track. Happy to swerve the card

A similar story at Fontwell where there are a number of contenders in each race with similar chances. I’m only having the one play which is for members only .

Selected Dundalk- all weather – polytrack

Not very much of interest here either.

5.10 Always worth noting any Uk raiders here and the consistent Cool Sphere is proven on the surface and is a nice ew play.

¼ pt ew Cool sphere @ 6/1

6.45 The best race on the card, a Listed Event for juveniles and at the weights, the useful Fort Myers will take some beating and is proven here but preference for another English raider in the useful and likeable Above, who was a good 3rd in a Group 3 last time and is  proven on the surface.

¼ pt win Above @ 4/1

8.45 the short priced fav  in this big field handicap is Dalileo , who could well go in but there are some longshots with good claims. Nimitz had a good opportunity last time over C&d but could only manage 3rd , but this late player will be better suited to this bigger field and higher grade where the pace is likely to be stronger , enhancing his chance.

¼ pt ew Nimitz @ 14/1

Selected Southwell- all weather- fibresand

5.25 The way to go here is to stick with runners proven on  this unique surface and the in form Requited fits the bill. After winning at Lingfield when making all he was fav for a sprint here,, but could never get competitive in much higher grade, but was staying on well. He comes here on the back of an excellent effort over C&D when showing terrific early pace from a wide draw and was only run down late on by Queen Of Kalahari, who has since bolted under a penalty and the 3rd horse won yesterday from a bad draw. Both the in form pair of Fairy Fast and Senorita Grande have a bit to prove on this surface and their marks. Well drawn for an all the way win.

¾ pt win Requited @ 6/4

6.30 Boredane Wood was impressive over C&d last time when front rank all the way staying on well in the latter stages. He may not have things all his own way tonight up front with the speedy Swinley Forest in the field, but this one is unproven on the surface and the tip is on a well workable mark  ib his nursery debut.

½ pt win Boredane Wood @ 7/4

7.30 The door finally opened for Loose Chippings last time out, despite the drop in trip looking against him on the beach at Laytown. He’s well drawn and has run a number of solid runs in defeat over C&D off slightly lower marks and another good run likely.

½ pt ew Loose Chippings @ 5/1

Southwell placepot
