Carmel 1.20 @ 7/2
Black Friday 1.50 @ 11/2
Tamok 3.50 @ 8/1
Selected Musselburgh – soft ground on this flat and galloping track
1.20 Top southern trainer Archie Watson always has to be taken seriously at this track, especially his juveniles with 3 wins from 4 tries. Carmel drops back to the trip where she was a close 3rd in a nursery , and is 2 pounds lower today. The first time blinkers are a positive for the stable and Danny Tudhope a significant jockey booking. Only missing piece from the equation is the softer ground, but she ran a fair race on debut on easy ground.
½ pt win Carmel @ 7/2
1.50 How Bizarre made all last time over a longer trip here and is only 2 pounds higher today, but he did have the run of the race from the front that day , which wont be happening today with the front running Ollivander in the field . Black Friday could have done better in his last two runs, but they were on the Newcastle tapeta. Prior to that he hit the frame, once over C&d on fast turf, coming late and fast and the other on soft ground. He’s well drawn and with a great race make up for a late player, this could be this maiden’s big day, and the jockey rides this track very well.
½ pt ew Black Friday @ 11/2

Selected Yarmouth- heavy ground on this flat and galloping track
3.50 If you’re searching for a 1 in the recent form figures of these you’re wasting your time , and the majority of these are maidens , including the fav , the most consistent Mistress Nellie, but she is a maiden after 23 tries, but is the clear form horse and handles the ground and has form over C&D. The wide draw is no help but shouldn’t be a huge issue in this modest event. Tamok is also a maiden, but has only had 6 tries and comes here on the back of some solid efforts off this mark. Handles easy ground and trusted on deeper.
½ pt ew Tamok @ 8/1
4.20 Lord Howard sluiced In last time on heavy ground, but is was only in a seller and a lot more to do in handicap company despite his crucially having the ground on his side. I’m really torn here between the Ragstone Cowboy , who has good enough form on soft ground at he trip and mark and Dolly Dupree , who has hit the frame in both tries on heavy at this trip . Both disappointed last time, but had excuses and I’m splitting my stake here .
¼ pt ew each and a rev fc Ragstone Cowboy @ 9/1 Dolly Dupree @ 9/1
4.55 Vive Lad Difference is on a long losing run , but has run well enough the last twice ro take this and no issues with the ground.
¼ pt win Vive La Difference
5.30 Stallone absolutely hosed up last time at Leicester at this trip on his favoured heavy ground and as he has no penalty and the easier track wont be an issue, looks a penalty kick, despite cramped odds in a big field .
1pt win Stallone @ 4/5

Wolver – all weather- tapeta
5.25 Powerful Dream hadn’t been shaping like a winner about to happen but bounced back to form At Bath last time on easy ground. It’s his first race on tapeta for a while but has won 3 times here and returns on a most workable mark and is also well drawn. Angel force is interesting down in the weights under SDS and is well drawn but at the odds I’m with Fairy Fast , who has gone close to winning a few times of late including over C&d. Nice longshot.
¼ pt ew Fairy Fast @ 12/1
5.55 Be Ahead travels over from France and the quality of form is way ahead of her rivals, and is tempting despite cramped odds but is unproven on the surface and badly draw.
6.25 a very open stayers handicap and the fav is the lightly raced Red secret , who shaped like a stayer last time but is new to the surface but runs for a good stable and SDS rides, so respected. Contimium is In good form but very hard to win with and chances have to be given to the following , Reassurance, a good 2nd from the front at Redcar last time , but up in the weights , but has showed promise on this surface. Tucson has been given a chance by the handicapper and this C&d could suit but the nod goes to the consistent Bolt N Brown , who is on a workable mark and goes on the surface and is trusted going up in trip.
¼ pt ew Bolt n Brown @ 16/1
6.55 A good quality event but nothing really sticks out and many here appear to have similar chances.
7.25 an unappealing maiden with too many ifs and buts .
7.55 Not a deep event and a decent chance for the consistent Rock Boy grey to break his duck . He comes here on the back of two good efforts at Newcastle, so the surface is fine and this strong finisher could just about nail this.
¼ pt win Rock Boy Grey @ 6/1
