Hoping for Jubilation in July

June was a very difficult month with a stack of long priced unlikely winners and many horses with very solid chances

running way below their chance. As the month went on, the winners started coming and i found a number of double

figure odds winners . We came out with a loss but the laying service managed a small profit . Racing is more settled

and I expect a far better level of success in July .

You remain with a tipster at the very top of the game and in  December I won The Rating The Races

Tipping competition coming out on top of some 250 other entrants.

I was also runner up in the Elite Section of a different online tipster comp

The problems with registration appear to have resurfaced but I have somebody working on it.

If you have problems PLEASE contact me via e-mail .

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Sporting bet to Press home his advantage in the 1.10

Not tipping in the first two races at Newmarket- all write ups ans tips onsite ar around 12.15

Today’s Fortune for a fiver

20p ew yank & 30p ew acca

Presidential 4.15 @ 9/2

Tegerek 12.25 @ 7/1

Diable De sivola 1.35 @ 7/1

Sporting Press 1.10 @ 3/1

Selected Newmarket- soft ground on this undulating, stiff and galloping track

12.55 This will be a severe test of stamina for these juveniles and as Tantivy has proven stamina and handles soft ground and stiff  tracks, looks a nice ew bet.

¼ pt ew Tantivy @ 7/1

1.30 This is not a deep race despite the big field and the lightly raced Hawridge Storm comes here on the back of a close 2nd in the Ascot mud and off around the same mark, looks a very nice longshot with the longer trip no real issue.

½ pt ew Hawridge Storm @ 14/1

2.05 A group 3 for juveniles and you need one on your side proven at the trip and ground and the prolific Tomfre, 4 wins in his last 5 steps up in grade, but ticks many boxes in what looks a winnable event.

1/4 pt ew Tomfre @ 13/2

2.40 There was little between Alpen Rose and Run Wild at Doncaster , but as the latter is proven in the mud , is expected to gain revenge and land this.

½ pt Win Run Wild @ 3/1

3.45 A short priced fav in the classy Century Dream , a real mudlark, but his recent comeback spin was below par and preference is for the back to form Main edition , a ready winner in the mud last time and big odds for his clear chance.

½ pt win Main edition @ 7/1

4.15 Presidential had a terrific season last year winning 6 times taking his winning mark from a lowly 63 to 84, when he landed this event last year on similar ground. He’s been held off around this mark this season, but hasn’t been far away when he’s had his conditions. With so many boxes tipped, hard to see him being far away today.

½ pt ew Presidential @ 9/2

Newmarket QUADPOT

Selected Ascot- probably good to soft on this stiff and galloping track

12.25 A tricky opener as most of these young horses are unexposed and it’s a race for conditional jockeys, but Tegerek ticks plenty of boxes. He’s very consistent, runs well off this mark and no issues with the ground , trip or a stiff track.

½ pt ew Tegerek @ 7/1

1.00Ecco had a light season last year but showed he was no slouch with a running on6th in the Triumph Hurdle , running to a good level He had a simple task on his comeback spin and looks a good thing despite carrying a penalty.

¾ pt win Ecco @ 11/8

1.35 Diable Sivola ran a number of solid races last year at around this trip and mark and this stiff C&d should be no issue , and handles the ground. He has his first run for Gary Moore, who has a good record with new intakes.

½ pt ew Diable Sivola @ 7/1

2.45 Nothing really sticks out in this winnable Class 1 handicap so sticking wit the classy handicapper Lisp, who despite being a few pounds high in the handicap, runs this C&D well and soft ground no issue.

¼ pt win Lisp @ 7/1

Ascot Placepot

Selected Ayr- very soft ground on this flat and galloping track

12.35 Stainsby Girl looked good when winning her bumper first time of asking beating Rosie and Millie by a  long looking 17 lengths. She went on to run well in subsequent bumpers and this wont take much winning .

½ pt win Stainsby Girl @ 5/2

1.10 With exit To where not nearly at his best on soft ground and with Knockoura looking well flattered by a 2nd in novice company last time, this looks an excellent opportunity for Sporting Press, on a fair mark , and trip and ground should both be fine.

¾ pt win Sporting Press @ 3/1

2.15 Justatenner is an admirably consistent type and another big run is on the cards, despite him consistently being nudged up the weights.

½ pt win Justatenner @ 3/1

Ayr Placepot

Selected Wetherby- soft ground on this flat and galloping track

12.50 Both Newtown Lad and Silver Tassle tick many boxes but he nod goes to the capable Late romantic . Ground and trip are fine and runs well fresh.

¼ pt win Late Romantic @ 4/1

1.20 Manwell was highly consistent last year, including first time out which makes him a very lively longshot with C&d, mark and ground all fine.

¼ pt Manwell @ 14/1

1.55 Lady Buttons was massively improved last year and started by landing this event. Looks a good bet at relatively generous odds.

¾ pt win Lady Buttons @ 2/1

3.40 The Grade 2 Charlie Hall Chase and despite the very wonderful La Bague Au Roi , having a bit to find with some of these on official ratings, she will run her race and can extend her amazing win record of 4 wins from 20 starts !!

½ pt win La Bague Au Roi @ 5/2

Selected Chelmsford City- all weather- polytrack

5.30 Looks a cake walk for Aiden O’Brien’s Persia, but easy enough to watch at 4/6

No Bet

6.00 A very weak contest and all that can stop My amigo from collecting is the extra two furlongs, not tempting enough at evens.

No Bet

6.30 A good quality and open Class 2 handicap and I’d say that the short priced fav  First in Line would do very well to win. You could make a case for most of these but I’m siding with Emirates Empire, who started the season with a bang with 2 wins and a 2nd before a good 4th on turf at this trip and mark. He’s a better al weather horse and obviously goes well fresh, so worth a dabble .

¼ pt ew Emirates Empire @8/1

7.00 A most winnable contest and a very lively longshot in the well drawn dual track winner Hey bibi, who’s been doing better than his recent form figures suggest.

½ pt ew Hic Bibi @ 12/1

7.30 The once hard to win with Parcnacilla has put hat all behind her and after landing a double over C&D ran well again to be 2nd last time. She’s up again in the weights so preference is for J’Ouvert , an improved good 2nd over C&d last time , but harshly stuck up 3 pounds.

½ pt win J’ouvert @ 7/2

8.00 Little between most of these at the weights but the front running Jupiter has the best of the draw and is a lot more determined than most of these in the finish.

½ pt winJupiter @ 9/2

Chelmsford City placepot

Not tipping up at Santa Anita tonight. Been through the whole card but hard to be sure as the majority of the horses are of course American and my knowledge of American form is not the best. I’m having a few small plays but wouldn’t want anyone else to risk hard-earned on .
