Selected Exeter- soft ground on this undulating, stiff and galloping track
12.25 Get Wishing runs this track well and goes well fresh. The excellent Ben Jones is a most positive jockey booking in a race for conditional jockeys and this is not deep . All good Things won well last time but concerns today over this severe C&D under a hefty penalty.
¼ pt win Get wishing @ 4/1
12.55 Sporting John went into many notebooks after a most impressive win over C&D , giving a decent type first run and a beating . He looks one to follow this season but is 1/3 today. Buckthotn George ran well last time in a good event at Chepstow and looks the best of the rest
¼ pt st fc Sporting John - Buckthorn George
Selected Sandown – good to soft on this stiff and galloping track .
12.45 Goshen came into his hurdles debut after some wide margin wins on the flat in the mud and made no mistake on his debut coming home again by a long way. Hard to see him beaten here , but is odds on .
1.20 PREMIUM RACE
2.25 A red hot grade 2 novice hurdle and the ones to concentrate upon are Happygolucky, Ofalltheginjoints, Overthetop and Up The straight , who all come here on the back of big runs and all 4 look the types to follow this season. The nod goes to Happygolucky after an excellent 3rd in a hot race at Cheltenham last time.
¼ pt win Happygolucky @ 5/2
2.55 a race for amateur jockeys and track specialist Le reve showed a lot more last time but preference is for Le Bozelo after a most solid effort last time.
¼ pt win Le Bozelo @ 7/2

Selected Newcastle- all weather- tapeta. The track is stiff and galloping
3.15 Hooflepuff won well at Wolver last time but a hefty penalty, tricky draw and a return to a venue which has caught him out before , makes it easy to look elsewhere. Sulafaat ran a tame one last time , but is usually reliable and goes well over C&D. Imperial focus has plummeted in the weights and did little wrong over C&d a few runs ago when 4th of 13, off a 4 pound higher mark. He’s never won one but has to be a nice ew play at mammoth odds.
¼ pt ew Imperial Focus @ 33/1
3.50 A tricky nursery but the nod goes to Fair Warning, who’s never that far away and the longer trip looks likely to suit and runs well here.
¼ pt win Fair Warning @ 5/1
4.25 Glen Force did well over C&D and is a worthy short priced fav . Danny Ocean is the least exposed of these but is a reliable sort and looks sure to run his race again despite the penalty . Nice ew play.
¼ pt ew Danny Ocean @ 8/1
5.00 A good quality sprint and pretty easy to read with hat-trick seeking Big Les sure to bomb out , but is likely to have company from the in form pair of Heath Charnock and Brushwork , and hard to see the hat-trick happening under a penalty. Heath charnock has a solid chance while Brushwork is very hard to assess as he’s 2 from 2 , both times over C&D and runs in the Frankel colours for a top Southern stable, so remains in the category of could be anything. The strong pace is a God send to C&d winner El hombre, who’s had a light time of it of late , but comes here on the back of an encouraging effort. He’s a little high in the weights but went close in this last year.
¼ pt ew El Hombre @ 8/1
5.30 PREMIUM RACE
6.30 The drop in trip wont help the in form La Rav while the longer trip is the concern with the penalised Summer Daydream . I was with Valley of Fire when successful over C&D last time . It was a cosy win and could well get away with the 3 pound hit. Both knowing Glance and double Martini are entitled to run well at long odds .
½ pt win Valley of Fire @ 4/1
7.00 The in form Broughton Excels has a bit to prove switching surfaces while the penalised pair of Herringwell and Aquarius make scant appeal off their new marks, Jeffrey Harris has been called a few rude names in the past, but comes here on a track hat-trick , so despite the penalty is not ruled out. The vote goes to I Know How , a tidy winner off just a pound lower at Carlisle and comes here on the back of a good effort at this track when 4th of 13, just beaten a few lengths and the drop in trip is in his favour. Expect a prominent ride and a clear chance.
½ pt win I know How @ 13/2
Dundalk – all weather- polytrack
5.15 Arcanears was a narrow victor over C&D recently with Nigg bay and Enough Said close up and all of Key To Power, Danzi gift and early Call not that far behind. At the revised weights and draw, the tip just gets the nod.
¼ pt ew Nigg Bay @ 7/1
5.45 In The present has the best form but is starting to look expensive and not well drawn returning from a break first time on the surface. Snapollentia ran well over C&D on her debut but is another badly drawn. Ioranta is another to do well on debut over C&d and from a nice draw looks solid ew.
¼ pt ew Ioranta @ 6/1
6.15 despite the big field this has the look of a match between the in form pair of Tyrconnel and Capadoccia and from a good draw the tip looks a knocking ew play.
½ pt ew Capadoccia @ 15/2
6.45 Another big field and again hard to follow many. Beleaguerment ran really well over C&D last time from a bad draw and has been unlucky on that score again, but still makes most appeal.
¼ pt win Beleguerment @ 11/2
7.15 A good quality handicap and despite the once Group winner Gordon Lloyd Byron in his comfort zone in a handicap, the much longer trip is a worry as it is for the most wonderful Geological, one of my favourite horses here , who comes here on a 4 timer , and a couple of those wins were tasks which looked beyond him but at this trip and mark, hard to see him doing it again, but one thing for sure, he’ll make a bold bid from the front. Innamore won well recently over C&d with all of Theobold, Kafu, Trading Point and Sirjack Thomas not far behind. He was a costly failure at Wolver under his penalty , but things didn’t go right for him so not ruled out. The nod goes to the prolific Theobold who’s last run came after a lengthy break and will strip fitter tonight .In his youth Yuften was a top class performer in Britain but of late has been mopping up in claimers. Big ask, but he’s the kind to outrun his odds.
¼ pt win Theobold @ 3/1
7.45 Chancor won well here last time with both bold Approach and Sky seven breathing down his neck, but all 3 go up in trip tonight which will enable Ciao to get closer and looks a nice longshot.
¼ pt ew Ciao @ 12/1
8.15 Narynkol had some decent form for Roger Varian in England but is badly drawn and his new stable has a poor record with new intakes. Golden Valour comes here on the back of two most solid efforts over C&d in handicaps and from the best of the draw, this should be his night.
¾ pt win Golden Valour @ 7/4
8.45 Art of America was a tidy winner over C&d last time with all of Queen Amidala, Royal admiral and Pepperoni Pete , and at the revised weights , it will be close again, which makes the overpriced tip a nice longshot. Rips Dream won well here last time but over a longer trip and will be tested under a penalty.
¼ pt ew Royal admiral @ 12/1
