Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytrack
12.00 Chetan is not the prolific type he once was but comes here on the back of a close 2nd at Chelmsford City when front ran throughout, He’s well drawn to attempt similar tactics today and an overdue win could drop his way . The in form Azets is well drawn but his two recent efforts came in modest heats. Billie Bean has a bit to prove down in trip from a poor draw.
¼ pt win Chetan @11/4
12.30 The majority of these are running well enough in this grade without really looking like winning which explains why Queen of Silica is quite a short priced fav. She’s lightly raced and did well in hr first handicap when 3rd over C&D in a far better race , not far behind one who has won since. She’s well drawn and looks very likely to be running these down late on.
3/4pt win Queen of Silica @ 7/4
2.15 Deeds Not Words is certainly back in the groove and comes here on a hat-trick and his chance is obvious, but at the odds I prefer a play on the well treated and capable Bernie’s Boy who has run a couple of fair races of late In higher grade. The in form Sir Hector has a poor record at this trip .
¼ pt ew Bernie’s Boy @ 8/1
Selected Donny- good to soft on this flat and galloping track
12.40 A winnable opener and the luckless Pogue can gain due reward for his consistent efforts. He’s been placed in all 5 runs and was a good 2nd off around this mark last time at this trip and ground at Catterick, hinting that this more galloping track would be to his advantage .
½ pt win Pogue @ 11/4
1.15 the clear form horse is Papa tango Charley , but 5/4 looks well short enough especially with an unexposed runner from the Henderson stable in Glynn .
1.50 PREMIUM RACE
2.25 galice Macalo showed little on debut but stepped up considerably next time in Aintree mud when looking the winner until falling at the last in a Class 1 event eventually won by Midnight’s Gift and compensation looks on with her rival now carrying a penalty .
½ pt win Galice Macalo @ 11/4
Selected Huntingdon- soft ground on this flat and galloping track
12.50 The unbeaten Mr Coffey looks an exciting prospect for his top stable and the hat-trick beckons, but is 1/3 !
1.25 One of many winnable races on the card and a chance is taken with sea Story, solid efforts the last twice and longer trip should suit for a stable which does well here.
¼ pt win Sea Story @ 6/1
2.00 Another winnable event and the nod goes to the consistent if luckless Jubilympics, with the first time blinkers a positive for the stable .
¼ pt win jubilympics @ 9/2
2.35 You can make a strong case for plenty in this but I’m drawn to Taj Badalandabad , who has a 100% record on this race winning it twice and races off a lower mark today. He was off the track for almost 2 years but showed up well last time suggesting the ability is still there.
¼ pt ew Taj badalandabad @ 8/1
3.05 The incredibly magnificent Maire Banrigh goes for the 6 timer , but has a couple of questions to answer as she goes up in trip ,tries a right handed track and tries soft ground , but she did win her point in the mud. If she wins well again , this would open a few more doors for this terrific racehorse, but happy to watch .
Selected Wolver- all weather- tapeta
4.45 Hardly a deep contest and a good opportunity for Master Burbridge , who doesn’t see the racetrack very often nowadays , but still manages to run his race and is effective over C&D .
1/4pt win Master Burbridge @ 5/2
5.15 PREMIUM RACE
7.15 Brockley Rise is rarely far away here and a slight ease in the weights gives him solid claims in landing a winnable finale .
¼ pt Win Brockley Rise @ 11/4
Selected Dundalk – all weather – polytrack
5.00 Little between these at the weights but the in form Miss Snossyboots is a regular here and comes into this in excellent form Nicely drawn and an all the way win wouldn’t surprise.
½ pt Win Miss Snossyboots @ 9/2
5.30 Monsieur Piquer has run a couple of most solid races over C&d of late off around this mark . Well drawn for a prominent racer and a very lively longshot in a typical low grade Dundalk winnable heat.
¼ pt ew Monsieur Piquer @ 14/1
6.30 Bella Brazil has done really well since joining the top stable of Jessica Harrington . She wasn’t beaten far off this mark last time at Newcastle but is effective on the surface and the longer trip should be no problem . Nicely drawn and reasonably priced up.
¼ pt win Bella brazil @ 11/4
