Hoping for Jubilation in July

I am having hospital treatment on Thursday 9th of July and have been advised I could be there for most of

the day so a service for that day is most unlikely . Memberships and trials will be extended by one day .

The service for Monday 6th of July is likely to be published later than usual as I have to be tested for Covid 19

prior to Thursday's treatment.

June was a very difficult month with a stack of long priced unlikely winners and many horses with very solid chances

running way below their chance. As the month went on, the winners started coming and i found a number of double

figure odds winners . We came out with a loss but the laying service managed a small profit . Racing is more settled

and I expect a far better level of success in July .

You remain with a tipster at the very top of the game and in  December I won The Rating The Races

Tipping competition coming out on top of some 250 other entrants.

I was also runner up in the Elite Section of a different online tipster comp

The problems with registration appear to have resurfaced but I have somebody working on it.

If you have problems PLEASE contact me via e-mail .

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

B(l)ack Gerry in the 3.50

I’m giving the Jumper Bumper card at Wolver the swerve , as I wisely did recently at Newcastle which provided a number of shock results with many highly rated horses just not acting on the tapeta and expect similar today . It looks a lottery there today and that’s what the bookies love .

Selected Naas- heavy ground on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

2.10 Really tricky opener and a case can be made for most .

No Bet

3.10 A short priced fav in this Grade 2 hurdle with Andy Dufresne , 4 wins and a 2nd from 5 starts ! and brings the best form to the table but carries  a penalty and also there is a cluster of lightly raced types open to any amount of improvement .

No Bet

No Naas placepot

Selected Fontwell- very soft ground on this harp track

2.20 echo Watt is the short priced fav in this weak event but has been hit with a massive 12 pound penalty for his wide margin win on the Uttoxeter mud. That was over a much longer trip and could be vulnerable back down to the trip when only 2nd at Lingfield off a 16 pound lower mark . Shintori has a good record around this tricky track and won on heavy at Plumpton off around this mark , but hasn’t backed that up since . The longer trip is not ideal but in a race lacking depth , if regular rider Nick Schofield can take care of him at he back , could land this.

¼ pt ew Shintori @ 8/1

2.50 Grand saucy is well worth his lofty rating of around 150 and as main rival Fox pro is rated only 134 , has plenty of leeway but this trip on the ground is far enough so easy to swerve at 1/5 .

No Bet

3.20  A valuable Grade 2 hurdle and a worthy short priced fav in Thomas Derby, who after an aborted career over fences, was back to his best last time out with a brave win at Ascot at this trip on heavy ground . At the weights , only Chesterfield can be ruled out but with Quel Destin and Monsieur Lecoq having stamina concerns , the capable William Henry could be troublesome with no issues regarding trip or ground . Thomas Derby is short enough at evens, so playing a rev fc.

¼ pt rev fc Thomas Derby- William Henry

3.50 An absolute match between odds on fav Notre Pari who has stronger form than chief rival Black Gerry but Black Gerry is proven on the ground and likely to appreciate this longer trip while the fav could find the conditions too arduous .

½ pt win Black Gerry @ 7/4

4.50 Another absolute match between the pair of Paul Nichols useful hunters in Alcala an Bob and Co , and it looks a toss up, which is not the way I tip up .
