Aiming for Jubilation in June

In the past I have praised Skybet as a bookmaker but I've had a couple of issues with them of late and

will no longer using  Skybet concessions as part of the Stats.

We came out of May with small profits for both Premium Tips and Laying service, but any profit is a good

profit where horse racing is concerned.

In the last 8 months , both the Premium tips and the Lays have  had 6 winning months .

The average profit for Premium tip in that time is 14% and the Lays 10%

Steady if not spectacular, but how many people can boast that they win on the horses

Looking forward to a dry Summer which makes finding the long priced winners far easier

Sir's got this on a Plato in the 8.00

Today’s Fortune for a Fiver

6 50p doubles, 4 25p trebles & £1 acca

Bahamian Dollar 7.30 @ 7/2

Sir Plato 8.00 @ 11/4

Poetic Steps 5.00 @ 7/2

Dali 6.40 @ 9/4

Selected Ayr- good to firm on this flat and galloping track, speed track

2.30 Hard to fancy She’s Pukka racing on far quicker ground than usual and Butterfly Lily was poor returning from a lengthy break. Home Before Dusk has run two solid races giving the impression this longer trip is in his favour .

½ pt win Home Before Dusk @3/1

3.05 Frustrating race as it ‘s so winnable with the fav Star Cracker hardly bombproof off a tough enough mark and with Perfect words well held of late . You can find more negatives than positives for all of these so worth a play on Brendan , whose trainer has a great record here and ran well for  along way here last time over a trio further than ideal. Surely worth a play in a weak heat.

¼ pt ew Brendan @ 10/1

4.10  Despite wide draws both Saint Equiano and Sultan Baybars have to be considered as they run this track well and have conditions to suit. Proud Archi ran well here last time and another good run is expected. Kamra has dropped to a good mark and has longshot claims after an improved effort last time. The nod goes to Alemaratalyoun who has run well of late running from poor draws. From a good draw today and on a fair mark , likely to be in the mix.

½ pt win Alemaratalyoun @ 4/1

Suggested Ayr Placepot

Selected Carlisle – good to firm on this undulating, galloping and stiff track, stayers  track.

2.15 Seductive Moment was a most costly failure over C&D last time but the top stable comes back for more, so may have just had an off day, we’ll be certain later. He was way behind Xtara who did well to finish 3rd and another good run looks on the cards. Theatre of war did well on debut and is another contender. Swiss peak runs for Southern trainer Michael Bell , who has tried here a few times with no success and the from of his debut 5th hasn’t always held up. Fc time .

¼ pt rev fc Theatre of War – Xtara

3.20 I’m finding more negatives than positives for all of these and even last time winner, Mutabanny, who has the best of the draw, has to be vulnerable off a 6 pound higher mark. Youngster Biddy Brady is a reliable soul and worth risking off a workable mark despite a 2 months break.

¼ pt win Biddy Brady @ 7/1

4.25 Queen Penn is going well and the drop in grade can only help . Her rivals have  abit to prove either off testing marks or over this demanding C&D.

½ pt win Queen Penn @ 7/2

5.00 Ad Libetum deserves a win after two good seconds but the 3 pound hit and the longer trip are big concerns . Poetic Steps is a typical mark Johnston type a very tough and capable front runner. She made all at Musselburgh in game fashion and this stiffer track looks very much in her favour. She’s had a few stiff tasks of late , but ran well for a long way in both. An easy lead is up for grabs and I expect regular rider Joe Fanning to take the initiative and make every post a winning post in a winnable race.

¾ pt win Poetic Steps @ 7/2

Suggested Carlisle placepot

Selected Naas- good to firm on this undulating, stiff and galloping track- stayers track

6.10 I was very hot on the chance of Dandyman Port yesterday and it was looking good for most of the race, but she went off too hard and fell into a hole late on. Prior to that she was a solid 4th over C&D as  her rivals are more potent over longer trips or softer ground , could slip the field tonight.

½ pt win Dandyman Port @ 11/2

6.40 Youngser Dali runs  for Aidan O’Brien and the switch to sprinting has really paid off and was an excellent 2nd last time at the Curragh in a hot handicap. He came from some way off the pace to just be touched off by  a well regarded one and compensation awaits as the fav and highest rated Son of Rest has a rare run on quick turf. There should be enough early pace to make this a true run race, ideal for the tip.

¾ pt win Dali @ 9/4

7.10 The likes of Red All Star and Kings of Luxor have good recent C&D form , but wins are hard to come by. Coto has a drop in grade and really should be too good for these.

½ pt win Coto @ 13/2

8.10 Magwidiri sluiced in on his first start for Jessica Harrington , but this is a much deeper contest and has been hit with a harsh 9 pound penalty. The in form Miss Ziziz ticks plenty of boxes and looks most solid ew .

½ pt ew Miss Zizi @ 5/1

Suggested Naas placepot

Selected Nottingham- good to firm on this flat and galloping track- speed track

5.50 Never easy for juveniles to carry a penalty but Delft Dancer has done well in subsequent races since his win and this doesn’t look a stiff ask.

½ pt win Delft Dancer @ 2/1

6.20 TYlery Wonder is a real speedball and out in a much improved run last time, but it was on Newcastle’s tapeta and previous runs on quick turf disappointing . He wont have things all his own way with Penny Dreadful and probably You’re Cool putting it up early on and all in all looks a vulnerable fav. Veteran Seemster holds his form well and ran a cracker over C&D a few runs ago on similar ground when disputing the pace but was just outstayed late on. Bashiba is hard to rely upon but he’s undeniably well handicapped and has a rare run in this grade, but it’s the old guy for me.

¼ pt ew Seemster @ 15/2

6.50 The consistent Kodiac Express nailed a deserved win last time at Windsor with Formidable Kitty well held behind a disappointing fav. She is likely to be front rank and I’m with her to defy the 4 pound hit in this winnable race. Puds has plenty to prove at this trip and ground while See The Lyte may well has done her winning for now and  is on a tough mark. Meerpat ran well last time, but does go up in trip.

½ pt win Kodiac Express @ 7/2

7.20 A good pace should be on with Medalla de oro happiest when dominating , but I’d rather just watch this one first time back this season and also still on a tough mark. Both Dark devil an dBakht A Rawan are going well , but drying ground not really in their favour. Ourmullion ran well for  a,ong way on his first try at this trip, but did a bit too much too soon. With a more patient ride, could take this .

¼ pt win Ourmullion @ 4/1

8.20 Shamaheart takes a big drop in the ratings and grade and is a likeable sort, but runs this year have been well below his best. Hard to fancy many in this and in form veteran Chiswick Bey looks likely to be in the mix.

½ pt ew Chiswick Bey @ 6/1

Suggested Nottingham placepot

Selected Windsor – good to firm on this flat and galloping track- speed track

6.00 Tiar Na Nog hasn’t had much racing and did well over C&D last time when  2nd, but the 2 pound penalty makes things tougher . However this will take little winning and is taken to go one better. Settle Pearl is a reliable soul and looks a lively longshot .

¾ pt win TiarNa Nog @ 2/1

7.00 A seller for juveniles and the fav is Wolf Hunter who ran well last time in an above average seller where he had Red Handed behind, but over this longer trip the placings could be reversed. The fav is trained by Richard Hughes who rarely reaches for the blinkers and when he does, the effect is rarely favourable. Mick Channon is going really well with his juveniles and runs Knockabout Queen who is down in grade and up in trip and worth a play.

¼ pt win Knockabout Queen @ 4/1

7.30 Great chance for the inform Bahamian Dollar who goes well over C&D, is in good form and takes a drop in grade. Englishman has 2 recent wins, one over C&D and looks a lively longshot at 14/1 , but it’s the Dollar for me. Tough ask for the reliable Titus Secret up in grade and the ratings.

¾ pt win Bahamian Dollar @ 7/2

8.00 Sir Plato bounced right back to form last time and the double looks well and truly on. The coast is clear for him to set the pace and has 4 wins over C&D. The quick ground is far more in his favour than Secret Return and Harlequin Striker and an all the way win looks very much on.

¾ pt win Sir Plato @ 11/4

8.30 This has a most winnable look to it and offers a good opportunity for Black Medusa who stayed on well here last time when 4th and enough in the pedigree to suggest this longer trip is  a smart move .

½ pt win Black Medusa @ 7/2

Suggested Windsor placepot
