Regal Encore for a deserved win in the 4.10

Today's free tip multi

25p ew Lucky 15 & 25 p ew acca ( stake £8)

Astrelle 2.50

Jacks Litle Hope 5.25

Regal Encore 4.10

Parish Business 4.15

Aintree – good ground on this flat and pretty quick track

2.30 I’m taking a chance with the novice Roberto Pegasus. His form is just about good enough to win off this mark and this C&D and ground will suit.

½ pt win Roberto Pegasus @

3.00 The race of the meeting , named in honour of wonder grey Monet’s Garden , who won here loads of times . It would great to think that some of these could scale to the heights of that wonderful galloper , but this has a very open look to it. There will be loads of pace on which will inconvenience the classy front runner Uxizandre, who won at the festival meeting in April, but could well be better in small fields. Both Mr Moonshine and Kie will alos be pushing the pace along and I’m with Rolling Aces, who ran his best race ever over this C&d at the Festival and this race will be run to suit this stong traveller.

¾ pt ew Rolling Aces @

3.40 A small field for this veteran’s chase. Hey Big Speder was held in this last year off a lower mark and was some way behind evergreen grey Pigeon Island, who didn’t go on from that run and it could be that it’s best to catch him fresh nowadays. Despite being just out of the weights , he remains very well handicapped of his good form of not that long ago. Burton Port was way behind in this event last season and his only good runs were in races demanding a lot more stamina. McMourrough is not out of this on his excellent run at Doncaster and neither is Lie forrit, but I just give the nod to the pigeon.

1.4 pt ew Pigeon Island @

4.15 We sort of know how good most of these are , which isn’t great and I’m taking a chance with novice Parish Business, who showed a good level of form at Chepstow on quickish ground and has a lot of potential. Tarvini looks a reformed character judged by his two wins this season, but if he can reproduce that on this flat , fast track is open to doubt. Hartforth and Solway Sam are consistent types who always run their races, but neither are well enough handicapped to take this.Possol os getting g no younger , but is a possible .

¾ pt win Parish Business @

4.50 A really good novice chase and I’m with chasing debutant Timesrembered. He is a classy hurdler and you would imagine that he would have been well scholled going directly for this , without a prep run. Wakanda has a lot more to do while Sergeant mattie also has his  limitations. If the tip jumps proficiemtly , the prize is his.

1pt win Timesrembered @

5.25 The one with the best form is Apollo Eleven , but that is pretty modest and it’s most likely that the winner will come from one of the bumper horses trying hurdles for the first time. I’m pretty keen on Jacks’ Last Hope , who has won his last two bumpers , on tracks like this, with some style. Days of Heaven represents string connections and is the danger.

1pt win Jacks Little Hope @

Chepstow – soft ground on this undulating and quite stiff track

1.55 No Bet

2.25 No Bet

2.55 A pretty open small field handicap but I’m with bottomweight  Todareistodo, on his first start for Claire Dyson. He goes well here on soft ground and is fauirly weighted for this.

¼ pt win Todoreistodo @

3.35 It’s a cracking Grade 2 novice hurdle , but they are so lightly raced and there are so many unbeaten records on show, it is very hard to pick a winner. Watch and enjoy, these will be featuring in big races throughout the season.

NO Bet

4.10 Regal Encore hasn’t reached the heights expected after his great form as a bumper. There is still time for him and he’s run some good races off this mark. Today’s C&D will suit and so will the ground.

½ pt ew Regal Encore @

4.45 A cracking Class 2 chase and I’m sticking with topweight Valdez , who is not far off the best of the two mile chasers. He’s got a lot of weight , but there’s no substitute for class.

1pt win Valdez @

5.15 A very winnable handicap and you can rely upon Ballyvoreen to run his race and he’s worth a  small play.

¼ pt ew Ballyvoreen @

Stratford – god ground on this flat and sharp track

1.45 It’s not a strong opener and it can go to Springinherstep who hasn’t been punished by the handicapper for an excellent second din a strong handicap last time out.She doesn’t have much to beat.

2pts win Sprininherstep @

2.15 No Play in the seller

2.45 Papradon always runs well here and another solid run is on the cards , despite the trip being a bit far. Mister Grez is the danger.

¼ pt ew Popradom @

3.20 It’s not a great race and the drop in trip can get Maller Tree close to win , but I just favour the consistent Taste The Wine

½ pt ew Taste The Wine @

3.55 Hard to pick between Midnight Charmer, Jim Job Jones and Kilcasan .

No Bet

4.30 & 5.05 No Pay in the novice hurdle s

5.35 Can’t get enthused by this lady jockey’s handicap hurdle

No Bet

Doncaster – good to soft ground on this flat and galloping track

1.40 Instant Attraction has been on the go all season an still run very well. The handicapper has asked more but is capable of conceding weight all round . Megan Carberry gets on well with the tip, but Reedcutter has showed his best form on soft ground and his stamina can kick in late on

½ pt ew Reedcutter @ 6/1

2.10 At the weights this big prize looks destined for Portamento, who ticks all the boxes and can be a other big prize for the Godolphin team. His rivals are all decent types but none of them can match the level of his form and he is already proven on soft ground and fast tracks .

2 pt win Portamento @ 13/8

2.4o Youngster Emerahldz showed much inproved form after his break and the softer ground is a real bonus .

1pt ew Emerahldz @

3.15 A brilliant sprint handicap and I’m with demora, who arguably ran her best race of the year winning a big handicap at Musselburgh on soft ground , with something to spare . She likes to ge a handy pitch and could posssibly lead this all the way despite there being other pacey types in the line up. The five pund claim of useful apprentice Ali Rawlinson could be vital.

1pt ew Demora @

4.25 A tricky nursery and I just give the nod to topweight Four Seasons who ran well off this mark on soft ground over shorter and the longer trip should suit. When Will It end looks the danger.

¼ pt ew Four Seasons @ 5.00 A cracking Class 3 and it can go to Louis the Pious, who has had a great season and can  have the legs of the tough Top Notch Tonto at this trip. Fencing is another decent type but could well struggle for pace over this C&D.

¾ pt win Louis the Pious @

5.30 I have backed Emef Diamond a few times of late and he hasn’t done the biz. He remains a capable type and I’m giving him another chance.

½ pt ew Emef Diamond @

Newbury – soft ground on this flat and galloping track.

2.20 A cracking Group 3 and very open. I just give the nod to Sky Hunter, whi won impressively last time and softer ground wont trouble.

½ pt win Sky Hunter @

2.50 Not many in with a chance at the weights and I’m with the tough and consistent Astrelle, who handles the ground and relishes a battle.

¾ pt win Astrelle @

3.30 Not many if these are at their best on soft but the revitalised Starwatch is and he can get hs 5th in 6 starts at very tasty odds.

1pt ew Starwatch @

4.05 No play in the maiden

4.40 Azagal ran an amazing race last time when out of the handicap and back done in the weights has huge chance . She isn’t known for her consistency, but has a huge chance on that last run, which was on soft ground.

1pt win Azagal @

5.10 Dancing Primo ha had a light season and runs well in amateur riders races . He’s well weighted and wont mind the ground.

¼ pt ew Dancing Primo @
