Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytrack
11.50 The form of the market leaders in Covert Mission and Desert lime is far from convincing and I’m with the prominent racing Keep Right On , who made a right fist of it last time over C&d when narrowly beaten , doing very well from the worst of the draw, which he’s been landed with today , but as he’s showed that’s np barrier to running his race , remains a good ew play .
½ pt ew Keep right On @ 15/2
12.20 PREMIUM RACE
12.50 It should well be Lovely Breeze’s day in a winnable heat and she comes here in her usual consistent form . A deserved win is likely .
½ pt win Lovely Breeze @ 11/4
1.25 Rafiot sluiced in last time at Kempton , but it came in a winnable race off a 7 pound lower mark and over a half mile shorter trip. so an unlikely winner today . C&d specialist Author’s Dream has to be respected but the 4 pound hit wont help so it’s down to a fight between the in form pair of Prince Of Harts and Winklevi and as the former has a rotten win rate , the latter gets the nod .
¼ pt win Winklevi @ 10/3
3.30 Das Kapital is rarely far away and looks a nice longshot in a winnable finale .
¼ pt ew Das Kapital @ 22/1
Selected Haydock – very soft ground on this flat and galloping track
1.15 The deeper ground could well be against the fav Another Brown Bear but all of the in form quartet of Dedanser , Ned Tanner , Readysreadybeau and Fanamix should have no problems with the ground or trip and the nod goes to the latter , a dual point winner on soft ground .
¼ pt win Fanamix @ 10/1
1.50 Very much a match but as Kiltealy Bridge is likely to get his own way up front, loves the mud and the Jamie Snowdon stable always doing well here , gets the nod over the luckless but useful Coconut Splash .
½ pt ew Kiltealy Bridge @ 6/4
2.20 Another likely match but on the ground the nod goes to the strong staying Green Book who landed The Chester Silver Cup with an all the way win on soft ground and fair to expect the same . A Different Kind goes for the 4 timer , but meets a strong opponent today .
½ pt win Green Book @ 5/4
2.50 A good quality Veterans Chase and it’s testament to their hardiness as the to weight is rated a very lofty 150 , and plenty others still racing off good marks . The nod goes to the well handicapped Blaklion , who is not the 155 rated horse he once was , but has an excuse being now a 12yo and his enthusiasm remains intact. He was a marvellous 5th in the Grand National behind Minella Times and ran a solid race on his recent comeback spin at Bangor and he likes this galloping track .
¼ pt win Blaklion @ 7/2
3.20 PREMIUM RACE
Selected Dundalk – all weather – polytrack
2.10 Rocky dreams is quite a decent type and massively consistent . Very effective on the surface and the young 7 pound claimer rides him very well .
¾ pt win Rocky Dreams @ 13/8
2.40 Trent has run two good races over C&D and receiving weight from a pair of recent C&D winners , should be 3rd time lucky .
¼ pt win Trent @ 7/4
3.40 You could plenty of these a squeak but I can’t see much wrong having a nibble on veteran Doonard Prince , who is still enjoying his racing as a recent close 5th over C&D from a bad draw shows and that form puts him right in the picture .
¼ pt ew Doonard Prince @ 20/1
The Kempton Trixie
3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Beat The Breeze 5.00 @ 6/1
Tartlette 5.30 @ 8/1
Blue Artemis 7.30 @ 15/8
Selected Kempton – all weather – polytrack
4.30 PREMIUM RACE
5.00 Beat The Breeze certainly knows where the winning line is and holds his form well despite nudges up the ratings . He recently returned to duties , for a new stable and running encouragingly at this track when as usual given a prominent ride , but there was a stack of early pace , so had to battle to stay in touch but wasn’t disgraced coming 6th and with an extra furlong certainly in his favour and the fact that he always improves for his first run back has a very decent chance , especially with a dearth of early in the contest .
½ pt ew Beat The Breeze @ 6/1
5.30 A valuable Class 1 listed event with a very short priced fav in Godolphin’s Siskany , who has a healthy advantage at the ratings , but that rating is based on a soft ground win at Newmarket in a handicap and last time struggled in Group 3 , so this may well not be as straight forward as It looks. Outbox is a cracking racehorse , tough, willing and talented and likely to try and make all, but the penalty makes it tough and finished just behind Irish filly Tartlette in a bunch finish , but it was a trye run race . Tartlette looked unlucky as she was way off the pace , understandable going up in trip , but she flew home and James Doyle takes the reins tonight for the Shane Crawly stable who has a very good record raiding these shores . Fancy she can run these down late .
½ pt ew Tartlette @ 8/1
6.00 This looks safely left to the track specialist Imperium who is 3 from 3 here , goes well fresh so absence no issue and only 3 pounds higher for a comfortable win over C&D last time here .
3/4pt win Imperium @ 6/4
6.30 Knowwhentorun is a long standing maiden , 0 from 10 , but this late player has never been so low in the handicap and did well coming a closing 4th over C&D off a slightly higher mark . There is a trio of front runners to give him the strong pace he needs and in a winnable heat , this could be his day .
¼ pt win Knowhentorun @ 4/1
7.00 Neither Lucayan nor English Spirit look bombproof despite he bookies making it a two horse war and it is very uncompetitive but I can’t ignore a little tickle on the down in the ratings and grade Samphire Coast at long odds .
¼ pt win Samphire Coast @ 16/1
7.30 The lightly raced Blue Artemis races for a good stable and comes here on the back of a win over C&D which she won readily and in a modest finale , the double looks very much on .
¾ pt win Blue Artemis @ 15/8
