12.15 A low grade sprint and even though Lady Florence holds claims after a recent 2nd over C&d, she had the run of the race that day from the front which is unlikely today with both the in form pair of Cool Strutter and David’s Beauty both known for going with the pace and both effective over C&D . They are both on testing enough marks but not by much and look very likely to fight out the finish .

He could slip the field tonight but has some useful types in the field entitle to be bang there off their ratings and at their best trip and ground . I give the nod to the useful and in form D’Bai with Happy power a big danger and Snazzy Jazzy hard to ignore .

7.55 Cold front has been 2nd in all 3 runs which can be offputting as it suggests hard to win with , but he has been unlucky in all 3 starts. Just 1 run last year when short in the market and just touched off in a field of 20! And this year bumped into Merass, who landed a handicap recently with ease off a lofty mark of 97 and last time losing little in defeat behind a highly promising Godolphin youngster . He’s likely to make all and trip, track, and ground all fine and looks a very solid play for big hitters. The godolphin newcomer future King has been supported but the stable’s record here with newcomers is not good and would need to run to a very good level to beat the tip who is rated 88 ! Raaed was unfancied on debut over C&D but did well to run 3rd in the mud, but the ground is drying and needs to find a lot more on form .
