The likeable and consistent Yes my Boy was 4th in that race but is looking held off his present tough mark . The lightly raced Raaeq has done nothing wrong in all three runs and was unlucky last time over C&d and gets the vote. Recent winner Rectory Road would do very well to get close up in grade and on drying ground .

This front runner has won 3 of her 5 starts and been 2nd in the other two, running to a consistent level every time . There is not much early pace in this so likely to be able to dominate and as she sees this trip out so well , could take some catching This is her first run on a flat track. but it’s a long way to come on a whim .

3.15 At the weights , the ones to beat are eagles By day and Spanish Mission , but it’s not straight forward with practically all of the field trying this marathon trip for the first time and prefer a play on the useful Red Vernon , who runs this track very well and promises to stay and Dettori rides. This is the acid test for youngster Revolver , 6 from 6 this year , but now taking on the big boys .

Selected Chester – good ground on this flat and very tight track where low numbers in the draw have an advantage
2.20 State of Bliss wasn’t a cheap purchase and he showed chunks of early pace on debut in the Haydock mud until weakening out of it on the desperate ground . Nicely drawn today for a front runner and could surprise on much better ground . The consistent Keep right On has a clear chance from a fair draw but Rival’s best run came on soft ground and has the worst of the draw today .

2.55 it looks very much that the fav Blowing Wind was well flattered in his latest run , a soft ground listed event as previous runs were modest . Praise of shadows won well over C&D on debut and was found out by a huge jump in class next time . On a fair mark and nicely drawn . Paws for Thought has the form to figure, not badly drawn and the stable does very well here with juveniles .

3.25 Tornadic impressed on debut when winning from the worst of the draw and giving them all a head start on the Lingfield polytrack. Carries a penalty and has to prove effectiveness on turf , but he did win well .
