Today’s fortune for a Fiver
3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Getaway Mag 2.55 @ 2/1
Njord 4.30 @ 15/8
Fresh Snow 8.10 @ 11/2
Selected Beverley – good to firm on this stiff and galloping track
1.00Charlie Fellowes is mightily consistent but just can’t nail one, which is a very worrying stat for win players , especially with a drop in trip . Pivoting put in a much improved run last time out, which came over C&D , which is good enough form to land this .
¼ pt win Pivoting @ 9/4
2.05 The bang in form Harbour Vision has a tough task with a 7 pound penalty , a wide draw and switching to a stiff track. Fred bounced back to form last time , but has the worst of the draw and a bit to prove on a stiff track . Harry Love and Tukhoom both have good enough form over C&d to be of interest but the nod goes to Tangled , who is 2 from 2 over C&D and still on a workable mark . Idoapologise did better last time, but the 3 pound hit is harsh for only coming second .
¼ pt ew Tangled @ 13/2
2.40 The extraordinarily wonderful Caspian Price bagged his 21st win last time out , and of course I was on , with another wonderful display of front running . Now an 11yo ,he is still rated a lofty 100 and despite having a bit to find with a few of these on official ratings. He is sure to bounce out and take some catching and has a C&d win on his CV. The fav is Aljady who was a wide margin winner last time out ,but it came on soft ground and only in a handicap off a mark of 97 .Ornate is the one to beat at the weights, , but it’s been over a year since last ringing the victory bell.
¼ pt win Caspian Prince @ 5/1
3.15 PREMIUM RACE
4.55 After two good wins , Jupiter road ran well over C&D off his new testing mark, not having much luck in running , Back in Class 6 , could well have a say from a good draw .
¼ pt win Jupiter Road @ 5/1

Selected Warwick – good ground on this flat and sharp track
2.55 After a couple of Ok efforts in novice hurdles, Getaway Mag was well supported in a big field handicap at Donny and won as she pleased . The 3 pound penalty could have been far worse and this prominent racer looks ahead of the game and this wont take much winning .
¾ pt win Getaway Mag @ 2/1
4.05 Not a deep race and a good opportunity for Northern Bound a good 2nd on his first try at this trip last time . drying ground and a penalty makes this tough for Tis Fantastic while both Auld Sod and Veiled Secret struggled to get home at this trip last time.
¼ pt win Northern Bound @ 11/4
4.40 A good quality chase which is sure to be raced at a strong pace with confirmed front runner Mr Mafia sure to go on and the admirable Younf Wolf also likes to dominate , both come here in good shape , but the latter does have a 4 pound penalty . The useful Paddleyourowncanoe also tried front running last time and while he ran well , unlikely for the tactics to be repeated today . With a strong pace assured , this could be set up for the strong staying Doing Fine , who carries a 6 pound penalty for a recent win, but is favoured by the race make up .
¼ pt win Doing Fine @ 9/1
Selected Listowel – good ground on this flat and sharp track
3.55 PREMIUM RACE
4.30 Njord just doesn’t know how to run a bad race , and has come on significantly since joining the top stable of Jessie Harrington . He has a little bit to find with a couple of these at the weights, but they don’t come here in the kind of form as the selection .
¾ pt win Njord @ 15/8
5.00 This is not a deep nursery and looks good for recent smart winner Magnanimous. He’s 7 pounds higher for his victory in a small field Cork nursery and may not get his own way up front , but this longer trip looks a smart move and is the one to beat .
½ pt win Magnanimous @ 15/8
Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytrack
1.55 Conscious is 6 pounds higher for a smart win at Kempton and has left Roger Charlton , for a tidy wedge , so not ruled out despite a tricky draw. The front running Too shy Shy should get his own way up front and this course specialist could take some reeling in . Ahdab runs in the most successful colours of the season of Hamdan Al Maktoum and this lightly raced type is not out of this .
¼ pt win Too shy Shy @ 4/1
3.40 Not a deep maiden and a good opportunity for surprise Chelmsford City winner Shalaa Asker off a very fair mar and proven on the surface and the trip.
¼ pt win Shalaa asker @ 9/4
4.15 This has a winnable look to it and the back to form Cappananty Con is well drawn and with a strong pace assured , can run these down late on .
¼ pt win Cappananty Con @ 6/1
4.50 PREMIUM RACE
5.50 The consistent Crimewave has a good record over C&D and another good run likely from a good draw .

4.00 PREMIUM RACE
4.35 A weak event and worth trying the well treated Jack Randall after a reasonable effort over C&D in a much better race last time .
¼ pt win Jack Randall @ 6/1
5.10 Another weak event and the fav in Scots Sonnet has only a fair chance . the likes of Seven For a pound and Perfect soldier tick as many boxes as the fav, but the former has showed recently he knows how to win .
¼ pt ew Seven For A Pound @ 8/1
6.40 Redesdale Rebel was well supported to win last time beating the consistent but hard to win with Mango Chutney and expected to double up despite the revised ratings with the longer trip likely to suit well .
½ pt win Ridesdale Rebel @ 2/1
7.10 Nine Elms has a bit to prove with a 5 pound penalty and switching from fibresand . The in form Come On Linda is well treated and proven on the surface .
¼ pt ew Come On Linda @ 13/2
7.40 There was little between Loweswater and Mawgan Porth over C&d last time and hopes of a form reversal at the revised weights , but the field is packed with unexposed types ,
¼ pt win Mawgan porth @ 4/1
8.10 It’s a long old way from Newmarket to Newcastle , 500 mile round trip , especially with just one horse , running in the last race of the night, so God knows what time they’ll finally get home , so Saeed Bin Suroor is going to a lot of trouble finding a opening for Godolphin runner Fresh Snow , who has run well in all 3 runs, two of them on tapeta and judged on her debut run at Salisbury , this stiffer track should help . She’s on a good mark and George wood has a very good record here . Looks a very nice bet at the odds. Serenading has more to do with a 5 pound penalty winning over C&D in lower grade while Lady Andaz is clearly not one of John Gosden’s leading lights and not well handicapped nor drawn.
¾ pt win Fresh snow @ 11/2
