3.45 Not a deep race at all and despite a massive 12 pound penalty , the hat-trick looks on for the revitalised Vocaliser . two seasons ago he was winning off marks as high as 118 , but the wheels fell off , which can happen when a horse is elevated to far too high a mark, they lose confidence and interest but recently switched to the good stable of Olly Murphy and has win bot starts with style . Hard to get excited about his rivals .

Selected Kempton – good to firm on this flat and sharp track

 

1.15 Very little to go on but the joint favs are Overpriced Mixer , who runs for Champion trainer Nicky Henderson , but ran very poorly on the flat when seen , and Viroflay , an ex- French flat horse , now running in famous colours for Paul Nicholls , who has won this race 3 times in last 4 years .

A fascinating Class 1 hurdle and with the exception of the 100/1 shot Gorham’s Cave, who has showed a little promise over hurdles , the other 4 are bang In form and ALL like to front run , so the ones who try to lead all the way could be in trouble . This is in the lap of the Gods, but out and out front runner For Pleasure wont get his necessary undisputed lead and is also better going left handed.

Racing here today looks a right minefield with so many tricky variable to balance . Just having the one play .

3.40 Always worth noting anything crossing The Irish Sea, especially In these unusual times, and top English trainer Archie Watson send the lightly raced Parent’s Prayer on another excursion to The emerald Isle and did little wrong last time . 2.42 Abbysinian was quite useful on the flat and improved for the step up to this trip with a solid 3^rd of 3^rd of 15 at Tipperary and that makes him a nice ew play .

2.50 The front running Lovely schtuff has responded really well to the handicapper’s generosity but is now on a very tough mark and an easy lead not assured . Brotherly Company has held his form pretty well , but is still high in the weights and is likely to want a piece of the early action too . Casimir Du Clos appeals as a longshot as he ran some good races last year off around this mark and trip. His form running fresh is hard to be exact, some good , some not so good , and today’s ground could be a bit quick, but makes appeal at the odds.

5.10 This has a winnable look to it and like the look of Melody of Scotland , who returns to his best trip and despite being a Hexham specialist , a very different type of track , good runs at speed tracks offers hopes today of a big run at juicy odds.
