Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytrack
11.35 Youngster At Ease runs in the Frankel colours and had the run of the race when beating a long odds on shot , but not well handicapped on that form and badly drawn Delicate Kiss is a most reliable type and despite being now high in the weights, she’s well drawn and is effective over C&D and with plenty of early pace on , this will suit her strong finish .
1/2pt ew Delicate Kiss @ 8/1
12.35 Both Holdenhurst and Azets made all last time but hard to see a repeat with their penalties and of course wont have an easy time up front . Veteran Pour La Victoire took advantage of a good mark when bouncing back to form , without any real warning and has double claims off just a 2 pound higher mark . The nod goes to the late playing well drawn Jack Ryan who has hinted of late that is time is near. Foxy Femme is not out of this either .
¼ pt ew Jack Ryan @ 8/1
1.10 A good quality Class 3 event and the short priced fav is the excellent Documenting , a hold up type who’ll have a good pace to aim it with Shine So Bright sure to go on .
½ pt win Documenting @ 5/4
2.20 This has a winnable look to it with the in form Newyorkstateofmind up in the ratings and grade while Son And Sannie having to prove effectiveness switching from tapeta. Restless Rose rattled off a sequence earlier in the year but since returning from a break has not been in the same kind of form , but well drawn and if back to her best can nail this.
¼ pt win Restless Rose @ 9/1
2.55 The Jean Genie finally responded to the handicapper’s help last time with a good 3rd over C&D when given a patient ride , just behind Marion’s Boy and it’ll be close again today but from a better draw and a more positive ride , could nail this winnable heat . Nice ew play .
½ pt ew The Jean Genie @ 7/1

Selected Huntingdon – good ground on this flat and galloping track
11.45 Not a deep heat and looks good for Getaway Luv .
½ pt win Getaway Luv @ 11/8
12.15 Another modest event and another solid fav in Glory and Honour.
½ pt win Glory and Honour @ 11/10
12.48 Hard to pick between Midnighreferendum , last year’s 2nd Momelia and the ultra consistent She’sasupermack, nod going to the latter.
¼ pt win She’sasupermack @ 11/4
1.23 At this trip and at the weights, Rock on Rocco looks very good to gain revenge over Fairway Freddy .
¾ pt win Rock on Rocco @ 6/4
1.58 An open handicap for lady jockeys and the fav is youngster Orchestral Rain , but on a very high mark for what he’s achieved and wont have an easy time up front . Veteran Great Hall is not the good horse he was but does run very well over this C&D and a nice long shot .
1/2 pt ew Great Hall @ 14/1

12.10 Both Do Your Job and Flic Du Voyou come here on a series of victories , but both are out and out front runners , and this could well ruin each other’s chance. Llandinabo Lad won well last time when also ridden prominently so this looks a great set up for the useful flat stayer severance, a most cosy debut winner over hurdles in the Carlisle mud when played late.
¾ pt win Severance @ 5/2
12.40 you can put a line through plenty of these on their comeback spins as they have a poor record running fresh. Both Snow Leopardess and Pookie Pekan are race fit and in form and on the ground the nod goes to the latter.
¼ pt ew Pookie Pekan @ 12/1
1.15 One of many cracking contests today and this novice chase features three exciting and prolific youngsters in Dashel Dreamer , Good Boy Bobby and Master Tommytucker , but all three like to dominate but at this trip , I’m with the former to outstay them . Master Tommytucker is far from foot perfect at the obstacles and these stiff fences could well find him out .
½ pt winDashel Drasher @ 7/2

2.25 PREMIUM RACE
3.00 Another cracking heat with three top notch chasers in Bristol De Mai, last year’s winner Lostintranslation and King George hero Clan Des Obeaux. They’re hard to split but the figures give it just to the latter.
¼ pt win Clan Des Obeaux @9/4
3.35 A gruelling examination in prospect with 3 and a half miles in the Haydock mud for these dour stayers. You can make a case for many but at the odds happy to be with the prolific mare Sheneededtherun, who ran big races in all runs last season with 4 wins and 2 places from 6 starts , ending with a brave 4th In the Midlands Grand National . Big odds for her chance .
½ pt ew Sheneededtherun @ 14/1

Selected Ascot- soft ground on this stiff and galloping track
12.20 The short priced fav Southfield Harvest could well be vulnerable dropping in trip . the in form and useful Exod’Ela can take advantage at optimum trip and ground .
½ pt win Exod’Ela @ 11/2
12.55 A very tricky novice handicap chase but at the odds I’m trying former pointer Go Whatver who Hardly put a hoof wrong last season and could surprise .
¼ pt win Go Whatever @ 10/1
1.30 Coiltte was on a rare going day when landing this last year and is 5 pounds lower today and considering she’s joined the top outfit of Fergal O’Brien , could have been coaxed back to her best . The consistent Same Circus wasn’t beaten far in this last year and another big run anticipated .
½ pt ew Same Circus @ 5/1
2.05 An absolutely cracking contest and all four are very useful and in form chasers. I can understand why Black Corton is the outsider in this red hot heat but at the odds I’m with the late playing Itchy Feet to take this in a race likely to be run to suit.
¼ pt win Itchy Feet @ 5/1
2.40 Another cracking small field contest but pretty confident that the admirable Song For Someone will come out on top . He is the likely pacesetter and the once very useful mare Laurina has her first start for Paul Nicholls and if back to her best would take some beating , but she was poor for the majority of last season .
¾ pt win Song For someone @ 5/2
3.17 A cracking handicap and there’ll be no hanging around with a clutch of front runners one of those the very excellent and prolific First Flow , but reluctantly passing on him with so much early pace on . Amoola Gold looks much improved this term and came off the pace to win very well over C&D in the mud last time. 6 pounds higher but will have the race run to suit again .
¼ pt ew Amoola Gold @ 7/1

Sorry folks, had a good study of Wolver and just far too many ifs, buts and maybes in all of the races , so giving the card the swerve . If you're flying solo , best of British .
