and also of course the added excitement of many winners and close calls .

The issue regading your payments directly incrementing your account is still not 100% . It is working

but not immediately . If you find you don't have access to the Members' area within an hour

of purchase, please contact me at Twitter or john@racehorsetipster.com . Apologies .

Registration problems sadly are still a bit hit and miss .

There were small losses for both the Premium Tips and lays and while of course profits are most preferable

In a month when  many days were raced on heavy ground, we didn't suffer greatly .

This month heralds the return of the flat season and The Cheltenham Festival, so if you haven't taken advantage of

the free week's trial,  this is an ideal time to do so . Just register and follow the prompts

I thank you for your loyal custom and hope you are enjoying watching the vast majority of the tips

running big races at big odds

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Kauto the king of Taunton

Today’s Multi

£1 trixie & £1 treble

Lady Isabel 11.50 @ 2/1

Kauto The King 2.11 @ 2/1

Silent Man 3.33 @ 10/11

Selected Southwell – all weather – fibresand

11.50 The handicapper has given track regular a right smack with a 6 pound penalty so would do very well to make it 3 wins here while Helix is another with a big penalty and unproven here.  Kingson recorded a most overdue win last time but hard to see a repeat with a big penalty, up in trip and switching surfaces. The in form youngster Lady Isabel ran pretty well here on her first try on the surface and this looks a golden opportunity .

¾ pt win Lady Isabel @ 2/1

12.20 Hats off to Ustath who goes for the track 4 timer . I thought he had a bit to do last time dropping in trip but was even more impressive than previously so again has strong claims despite the 5 pound hit. Kaafy broke a long losing run last time in his first try over C&D and must go well again off just 4 pounds higher . Back in a close 3rd that day was Red Bravo and with a 4 pound pull , has to be a nice ew play against the obvious ones .

¼ pt  ew Red Bravo @ 8/1

2.20 Atlanta Queen is a regular here and before her last race was running consistently well over C&D but can be excused the flop over a much longer trip. Recent winner Badger Berry has a hefty 7 pound penalty so the danger is the back to form Palazzo .

¼ pt  ew  Atlanta Queen @ 7/1

2.50 Geography teacher is a regular here with 4 track wins and comes here on the back of a good 2nd over C&D off a slightly higher mark . This is not a deep race and is the one to beat .

½ pt win Geography Teacher @ 5/2

3.20 Sophar Sogood is 2 from 2 over C&D but is 5 pounds higher for his last win . grand Pianolo is another regular here but not so good last time and a bit to prove going up in trip. The resdev Way has C&d wins on his CV off much higher marks , but he’s not as good as he once was. He shaped up much better last time over C&D in  a far more competitive race and like his chances at long odds in a winnable finale. It’s a race for apprentice jockeys and not wishing to be over critical , none are in the top draw, but Gina Mangan who rides the tip is in pretty good form as the others continue to struggle .

½ pt  win The Resdev Way @ 10/1

Selected Lingfield – heavy ground on this undulating and sharp track

12.33 Invincible Cave hung on bravely when making all in the Fontwell mud last time at this trip but has a 7 pound penalty and only narrowly beat Alka Step with Corrie Lake running on behind , so would do very well to double up. That wasn;t a deep race and preference is for the lightly raced C&D winner Miss Molinari who could well be up to defying the 6 pound penalty , but is returning from a 10 months break .

½ pt win Miss Molinari @ 4/1

3.33 A very weak finale and looks good for recent Ffos las winner Steel Man who ploughed through the mud on his first start for the good stable of Tom Lacey and looks ahead of the game .

¾ pt win Steel Man@ 10/11

Selected Taunton – good ground on this flat and sharp track

2.11 Not a deep race and looks good for the in form Kauto The king who’s improved since going chasing and wasn’t beaten far off around this mark last time giving the impression this longer trip would suit well.

¾ pt win Kauto The King @ 2/1

2.41 A Class 3 hurdle but few set the pulses racing . Air Horse One has a good record here and despite the ground being on the quick side , worth a play at nice odds on a good mark .

½ pt win Air Horse One @ 8/1

3.11 De Barley Basket stepped up last time winning at Market Rasen in just his second chase . The 6 pound hit makes life harder but this is not a deep race and the main danger is Write It Down has looked woefully one paced of late .

½ pt win De Barley Basket @ 7/4

Selected Chelmsford City – all weather – polytack

4.00 A tricky opener as the ones with the best form are all returning from absences , never encouraging for juveniles , and none of the fancied runners have tried synthetics before.

No Bet

4.30 Ghaaliya won well on this surface on  debut and then predictably struggled in  Listed company on soft ground . she has the dreaded penalty to shoulder and up against a trip of newcomers from   smart stables and also Natural Value brings decent C&d form to the table .

No Bet

5.00 Glalyoon is looking a winner about to happen and has strong claims but at the odds prefer a play on Intuitive who ended last season with a double In progressive style . He then struggled in a couple of hot events in Meydan but remains of interest in this grade. First time wind op and visor both positives for the top stable .

¼ pt win Intuitive @ 11/2

5.30 Ayr Harbour sluiced in last time on the Southwell fibresand but has a stiff task today with  the 8 pound hit and has never even made the frame in 3 tries in Class 2. War Glory has a terrific record here but is at his best when chasing a strong pace, which is unlikely today , but still hard to ignore with the rest hard to fancy for a variety of reasons .

1/ 2 pt win War Glory @ 5/2

6.00 The front running Australis is 4 pounds higher than his recent C&D win but will still be very hard to beat in this field , but odds on  not for me .

NO Bet

6.30 The progressive Pearl Beach looks very hard to beat even with the 6 pound hit and looks good for odds on players. Anisoptera is also on a hat-trick but both wins came over a longer trip and despite winning well last time the opposition was most modest .

¾ pt win Pearl Beach @ 4/6

7.00 Fitwood Star returned from a lengthy break with a good win at Wolver but looks most vulnerable with a 9pound penalty, switching surfaces and 2nd run back from a long break, a prime candidate to bounce. Both Bay oF Naples and Double Refelection are going well but both have been nudged up to uncomfortable looking marks . Ritchie Valens will have no excuses if he fails to land this finale . He comes here in good form and is only a pound higher for his C&d win earlier in the season . La La Bamba !

¾ pt win Ritchie Valens @ 3/1
