The issue regading your payments directly incrementing your account is still not 100% . It is working

but not immediately . If you find you don't have access to the Members' area within an hour

of purchase, please contact me at Twitter or john@racehorsetipster.com . Apologies .

Registration problems sadly are still a bit hit and miss .

There were small losses for both the Premium Tips and lays and while of course profits are most preferable

In a month when  many days were raced on heavy ground, we didn't suffer greatly .

This month heralds the return of the flat season and The Cheltenham Festival, so if you haven't taken advantage of

the free week's trial,  this is an ideal time to do so . Just register and follow the prompts

I thank you for your loyal custom and hope you are enjoying watching the vast majority of the tips

running big races at big odds

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Once upon a time there was a horse with a good chance in the 12.30

Selected Lingfield – heavy ground on this undulating and sharp track

1.50 This looks a three horse wat between recent C&d winner Hang Tough, who would do well following up with the 5 pound penalty , Little Red Lion , who’s also on a tough enough mark and former pointer Le Fou Royal , an easy winner in the Plumpton mud over hurdles and better can be expected over fences up in trip.

¼ pt win Le Fou Royal @ 3/1

2.23 A most winnable heat but the hat-trick seeking Big Penny has a few questions to answer, well down in trip and up in the ratings, but still hard to rule out against unconvincing rivals .

No Bet

2.53 A veteran’s race and the only one who’s showed he can nail a race of late is the prolific Finnegan’s Garden , but despite being a track specialist and a mud lover , he’s high enough in the weights for his cramped odds.

No Bet

3.23 Looks a match between the capable Little Rory Mac and the reliable chaser Top Gamble , who switches to hurdles, which shouldn’t be an issue and like his chance at the odds.

½ pt win Top Gamble @ 7/2

Selected Southwell – good to soft on this flat and sharp track

12.30 The hat-trick seeking Rose of Aghabow has a tough task with a 9 pound hit and preference is for track winner Whatsdastory , who held her form well last year and no issues with ground or trip and fences shouldn’t be an issue.

½ pt win Whatsdastory @ 3/1

2.32 In a winnable heat worth a dabble on the novice Poppa Poutine in calmer waters after a try In a Class 2 hurdle last time

¼ pt win Poppa Poutine @ 5/1

All weather Fortune for a fiver

6 50p doubles, 4 25p trebles & 50p ew acca

Turanga Leela 4.00 @ 5/2

Secretfact 5.30 @ 11/2

Potters Question  7.30 @ 5/1

Rukwa 2.10 @ 3/1

Selected Newcastle – all weather – tapeta

2.10 A very weak opener and looks very much a match between recent C&D winner Ravenscar and the lightly raced Rukwa, a good 2nd over C&D last time. This was a much improved run as he was ridden prominently and wasn’t stopping at the line in a competitive heat . likely to get his own way up front today  and despite the 2 pound hit is taken to get the better of main rival who’s up 4 pounds and a line through Wemyss Point on C&d form, gives the tip a few pounds in hand .

½ pt win Rukwa @ 7/2

2.40 A fascinating maiden with both Kondo Isami amd Castlebar bot bringing decent form to the table and proven at the trip .There are a couple of very interesting newcomers, none so more than Darlectable Me a half sister to the very high class trip of Too darn Hot, So Mi dar and Lah Ti Dar , and has to be a play at very fair odds .

½ pt win Darlectable Me @ 7/4

3.10 The short priced fav is another John Gosden juvenile in Taravara who brings the best form to the table , but only just and is both new to the surface and been absent for 2 months, long enough for a youngster. There are a number of contenders in this .

No Bet

3.40 Great Colaci has been just that here of late and has taken his form to a new level since going up in trip, a distance which previously was his downfall , but is another one to stay better with age . The 4 pound hit demands more but this is not a deep heat and could get away with it. Deolali has also been going very well here of late but his present mark is most uncomfortable and the longer trip hasn’t helped in the past. Kentuckyconnection has been very consistent of late and his win here was a career best run . May just need  this returning from a break but this late player will have a good pace to aim at and is preferred .

¼ pt win  Kentuckyconnection @ 6/1

4.15 A weak nursery and the fav is Love of Zoffany who was all out to win at Wolver and previously was just a decent 2nd over C&D , both runs coming off a 5 pound lower mark . To get away with it , this would have to be a most modest event .

No Bet

4.45 Another weak nursery and no arguing with the bookies who make this a straight match between Scarboroughdebut and Attaboy Roy , who finished alongside each other in a nursery here last time , but an extra furlong today , which is likely to suit the former better , but at the odds, easy to skip .

No Bet

5.15 The once useful Tomily finally responded to a drop in the ratings with a much improved effort over C&d when a close 3rd . He’s likely to repeat the run off the same mark but will have a bit of unwanted company up front from the reliable Lucky Lodge , proven over C&D but now on a tough mark.. The strong pace is good news for late player Tathmeen , who ran a rare tame one over C&D last time, but was badly drawn and is preferred by the very hard to win with Medicine Jack .

¼ pt win Tathmeen @ 9/2

Selected Wolver – all weather – tapeta

4.00 Turanga Leela was most consistent last year off marks in the low 70’s , including over C&D, but took some time to find her form after a break but made no mistake last time beating a very useful yardstick in A Go go. Up 4 pounds but still very well in on old form . Not a big ask as Griggy only landed a weak event last time and the consistent Pastfact has a bit to prove on the surface and a tricky draw.

½ pt win Turanga Leela @ 5/2

4.30 A  low grade handicap and hard to get excited about the prospects of anything in particular ,. There are a number with chances ,but this could drop a number of ways .

No Bet

5.30 The consistent Secretfact got back on the scoresheet with an all the way win over C&D last time. Not badly drawn for another attempt to go all the way but there are a few others here with leadability claims , but the tip doesn’t have to lead to win and appeals much more than recent C&D winner Mutabaahy , under a stiff penalty and a bad draw.

½ pt win Secretfact @ 11/2

6.00 All of these are on long losing runs but something has to pass the post first , but as far as these are concerned, it’s very much a lottery .

No Bet

7.00 The ex- Irish regal Eagle ran well here on his first stat for David Evans , finishing well , but does have an extra furlong to travel tonight . Looks hard to beat in this field but odds short enough .

NO Bet

7.30 Another race where they all find getting their noses in front very tough . Potters question is usually consistent but struggled last time from an adverse draw. He’s proven over C&D off around this mark and better drawn . Could finally be his big day .

½ pt  ew Potters Question @ 5/1
