There were small losses for both the Premium Tips and lays and while of course profits are most preferable

In a month when  many days were raced on heavy ground, we didn't suffer greatly .

This month heralds the return of the flat season and The Cheltenham Festival, so if you haven't taken advantage of

the free week's trial,  this is an ideal time to do so . Just register and follow the prompts

I thank you for your loyal custom and hope you are enjoying watching the vast majority of the tips

running big races at big odds

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

She's a little Beauty in the 1.32

Today’s fortune for a fiver

3 £1 doubles & £2 treble

Bourbon Beauty 1.32 @ 2/1

Western Victory 1.55 @ 5/2

Darrens Hope 2.30 @ 11/4

Selected Cork – heavy ground on this flat and galloping track

11.45 Not much to go on in this juvenile hurdle except for referring to flat form and two of these in Autumn Evening and Curious Bride are rated useful 78 and 80 , but as the former is proven on the ground , looks the solution .

½ pt win Autumn Evening @ 2/1

1.25 A good quality Grade 2 chase but Chacun pour Soi is the ante- post fav for the Champion Chase, so enough said. He’s 1/3 which will appeal to many big hitters, but not my kind of bet .

No Bet

1.55 A grade 3 chase for mares and hard to get away from the consistent and useful Western Victory who makes far more appeal than the other fav in Sapphire Lady who drops markedly in trip and could be a bouncer second run back after a long break .

½ pt win  Western Victory @ 5/2

2.30 The front running Darren’s Hope was a convincing winner over C&D last time in the mud . Sayce Gold is another improving youngster but steps up in grade . she too is a front runner but the tip has showed she can come off the pace for victory .

½ pt win Darren’s hope @ 11/4

3.00 The short priced fav in this winnable handicap is Pike Country , unlucky when falling late on at Navan but on this very different track  the consistent Charlie Siringo is preferred, coming here on the back of two big runs , one of which was over C&d on deep ground .

½ pt  ew Charlie Siringo @ 5/1

Selected Kelso – soft ground on this undulating , sharp track with a long galloping straight

1.00Damiens Dilemma runs this C&d really well and started this season in fine style landing a double. He may not have his own way up front today and the ground could be a bit softer than ideal, but will run his usual gallant race and a lively longshot .

½ pt  ew Damiens Dilemma @ 12/1

1.32 This looks a 3 horse war but despite Wild Dolly bringing good form to the event , she rarely sees the racetrack so with the penalty is overlooked as she has the profile of one hard to keep sound. Southern Girl ha run well in all three starts this season but preference is for the consistent Bourbon Beauty after a good 2nd in a competitive event at Warwick and the 3rd horse has won since and the 4th horse brough rock solid form into the race . Ground should be fine and the stable makes a 600 mile round trip .

¾ pt win Bourbon Beauty @ 2/1

2.02 PREMIUM RACE

2.45 A good quality novice chase and despite having to concede weight all round , the admirable Mighty Thunder will again make a right fist of it . He’s a bold front runner and no issues with ground trip or trip . Elf De re runs this track really well but not convincing over fences of late and the trip is a further question mark . Both Minella Encore and Mahlevous have strong claims but he tip looks a very nice ew play .

½ pt  ew  Mighty Thunder @ 7/1

There is thick fog presently at Punchestown and the card is in some doubt . Be back if  the meeting goes ahead .

Selected Southwell – all weather – fibresand

12.01 PREMIUM RACE

12.31  A tricky nursery as few of these have experience on this specialist surface. Mokaman has to be considered after a good 2nd over C&D off a slightly lower mark and can be forgiven a subsequent lesser effort on at the stiff Newcastle track .the consistent Professor Gallant has form here but at a longer trip and unlikely to get competitive at this distance . attaboy Roy is rarely far away and the stable does well here while Toplight notched a deserved win last time but a hefty 9 pound hit will very much test , but is related to fibresand winners .

¼ pt win Mokaman @ 7/2

1.06 This is likely to be fought out by the trio with experience , but none have ever raced here. There is little between Fighter Pilot and Kevin The minion on the quality of their form t Newcastle , but both have found this trip far enough . Hugsy was just 2 lengths behind Kevin The motion on debut, finishing strongly from off the pace and the dam was a good winner on this surface .

1/ pt  win Hugsy @ 4/1

1.46 Spring Romance hasn’t been with Mike Appleby long but has won his last two races with ease. He’s up another 6 pounds , but is still well in old form . He did well to win last time at Kempton from a bad draw and up to this trip, which in the past hasn’t suited. This is more of a stamina test so I’m with Mister Freeze , who runs this C&d well, on a decent mark and not terrible of late .

¼ pt ew Mister Freeze @ 10/1

2.20 This is wide open with so many proven over C&D and the in form Newbolt trying the surface for the first time for a top stable that does well here , makes it a right puzzle .

It’s an excellent card at Punchestown but I wont be having any plays

12.35 An interesting novice hurdle full of young horses with potential but as they are all better at longer trips a lottery when it comes to finding the winner .

1.10 This looks very good for the progressive and potentially classy Finest evermore, but I can afford to watch at 4/7.

1.40 A brilliant Grade 1 chase and Min goes for the hat-trick and will be hard to beat , but you can make a good case for ALL of this talented field. Well happy just to watch the spectacle .
