My appointment for this morning has been cancelled but rescheduled for tomorrow at 10.00 a.m , so service for tomorrow likely to be slightly delayed , should be around noon.
£1 trixie & £1 treble
Midnightreflection 1.30 @ 7/4
Bregeut Boy 1.45 @ 6/4
Amaysmont 6.10 @ 3/1
Selected Musselburgh – soft ground on this flat and galloping track
12.45 Very much a match but prefer the chance of the consistent and tough Irish raider in Mig Des Tallions over Prince Escalus who failed to back up a good run last time out.
½ pt win Mig Des Tallions @ evens
1.15 Question marks against the in form horses and marker leaders as Armattieken goes up in trip, the ratings and faces softer ground while the reliable Brotherly Company is neither at his best in the mud .
1.45 Breguet Boy was a fair sort on the flat and won over hurdles at the first time of asking over C&D. Softer ground no issue and looks a solid fav .
½ pt win Breguet Boy @ 6/4
2.15 The clear form horse is Perfect Chief and did well to be 4th at this trip at Newbury in a far better race , but soft ground is an issue . No Regrets remains unexposed and no issues with the ground and shapes like a stayer .
¼ pt win No Regrets @ 11/4
Selected Plumpton – good to soft on this mostly flat and sharp track
1.30 Midnightreflction put in a tremendous run last time at this trip on the Ascot mud and that form is way in advance of his rivals .
½ pt win Midnightreflection @ 7/4
2.05 Smurphy Enki was unlucky to be beaten last time but should make no mistakes today in a race where few count .
½ pt win Smurphy Enki @ 10/11
2.35 PREMIUM RACE
3.05 PREMIUM RACE
Selected Chelmsford City – all weather – polytrack
2.25 Kylia Looks as expected improved with the step up in trip last time with a facile win at Wolver , so despite the stiff penalty and the switch of surface , still hard to rule out in an uncompetitive heat . The consistent Secret Treaties is entitled to go well again despite the nudge up the weights but in a weak heat I’m trying a longshot in the lightly raced Kelinda Dice whose close 2nd at Lingfield off a higher mark gives her a very decent shout in this but fitness a worry returning from a 10 months break !
¼ pt ew Kelinda Dice @ 20/1
3.25 Eyes is rarely far away and last time the front running tactics just didn’t work. She’s proven over C&d off around this mark and this wont take much winning .
¼ pt ew Eyes @ 7/1
3.55 Very hard to knock Freedom and Wheat , 3 wins in his last 5 and 1 from 1 over C&D with a smooth win last time out , but the 7 pound hit looks excessive Madame Peltier goes for the hat-trick , but is another now on a very stiff mark . as is the upgraded Mini Milk . World Title has responded well to an ease in the ratings but with a lot of early pace in the race this could just drop right for the hard to win with late playing Markazi , who drops into Class 5 for the first time and comes here in OK form .
¼ pt ew Marzaki @ 13/2
4.25 PREMIUM RACE
4.55 Not a deep race and despite having it to prove on the surface, Aria Rose comes here in good form and the longer trip looks a smart move .
¼ pt win Aria Rose @ 7/2
5.25 Fulbeck Girl has gone mighty close the last two runs, one over C&D and good chance of a deserved win in the finale .Both Mizen Master and Aldrich Bay are big dangers .
¼ pt win Fulbeck Girl @ 2/1
Chelmsford City placepot
Selected Wolver - all weather – tapeta
4.05 International Law has had a hectic schedule of late but still continues to run his race, despite now being on a tough enough mark . He runs this track well and has a rare pop in Class 6 , so shouldn’t be far away again .
¼ pt ew International Law @ 6/1
4.40 Chitra bounced back to her best with a good 2nd over C&D last time but the wide draw wont help . Fashion Advice holds his form well off around this mark and has run well the last twice on this surface . The fav is the lightly raced The Nosey Parker who landed a modest maiden at Lingfield last time and quite a bit to prove down in trip and switching surface.
¼ pt ew Fashion advice @ 5/1
5.10 A winnable heat and the fav is the lightly raced Systematic who’s with a top stable but not really convincing of late and tries this surface for the first time, but the in form stable does do well here. Richard RHB made all for a C&D wina few starts back but off a 7 pound higher mark from a poor draw, makes little appeal . Precision Storm won over C&D 2 starts back and did little wrong last time from the worst of the draw to be a close 4th off this mark and this late player is preferred to the consistent yet very hard to win with G for Gabriel .
¼ pt ew Precision Storm @ 5/1
5.40 A really poor maiden and the short priced fav is the maiden Legal Reform , whose only run on synthetics was a poor effort and hard to fancy, but what’s going to beat him ?
6.10 It’s impossible to knock the consistent Rhubarb Bikini with 2 wins and 2 seconds from just 4 starts and won very well at Chelmsford City last time when as usual making all , but that run did come after a long absence, so may well not be so potent 2nd run after a break and unlikely to have an easy ride up front with the free running Sun Power very likely to serve it up early returning from a break for a new stable who’ll be keen to get a run into his lungs. The likely strong pace is very good news for the in form Amaysmont , a strong finishing 2nd in a decent event at Newcastle , so proven on the surface and can nail this when the front runners have cried enough .
¾ pt win Amaysmont @ 3/1
6.40 PREMIUM RACE
