1.50 The Peterborough Chase, rerouted after the abandonment of Huntingdon , and it’s a right puzzle . Neither Dolos not the admirable Clondaw Castle have cut any ice here before but the rest all have good track form . A few of these have disappointed of late and it’s all about keeping the faith with these but at the odds the capable Bun Doran is worth a flutter at long odds .

11.55 Hazzaar is lightly raced and brings the strongest form into the event with a strong finishing close 5th off this mark in big field Cheltenham handicap . My only reservation is that he could be caught for toe on this speed track, but in this field, at fair odds, worth the risk .

4.45 Tipperary Tiger looked really good when winning on debut in the Donny mud and is odds on to go 2 from 2 , but this is a unique surface . The in form stable does very well here so you’d expect a win but not for me at short odds.

5.15 A fiercely competitive sprint with a stack of early pace but over 5 furlongs, here , the high numbers are severely disadvantaged , so expect the race to develop middle to far side . Track regular Crosse Fire is well drawn to be front rank as usual but a stiff mark and a drop in trip wont see him leading throughout but will give those drawn around him an edge . The fav is Birkenhead who is 1 from 1 over C&D , but 5 pounds higher while the consistent Free Love runs this C&D very well , but just can’t nail one and up in the ratings today . Dark Shot took advantage of a lowly mark to get back on track over C&D of late and has held his form pretty well of late off his new mark . Will be produced off the pace and could surprise.

The Dundalk handicaps are a complete lottery as of late many horse are just not holding their form and it’s become so hard to predict . I’m just playing a double in a couple of maidens .
4.30 Bear Story did well over C&d last time and experience gives him the edge over odds on newcomer in Ruling .
