The issue regading your payments directly incrementing your account is still not 100% . It is working

but not immediately . If you find you don't have access to the Members' area within an hour

of purchase, please contact me at Twitter or john@racehorsetipster.com . Apologies .

Registration problems sadly are still a bit hit and miss .

There were small losses for both the Premium Tips and lays and while of course profits are most preferable

In a month when  many days were raced on heavy ground, we didn't suffer greatly .

This month heralds the return of the flat season and The Cheltenham Festival, so if you haven't taken advantage of

the free week's trial,  this is an ideal time to do so . Just register and follow the prompts

I thank you for your loyal custom and hope you are enjoying watching the vast majority of the tips

running big races at big odds

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Give Me A Copper begging to be backed

Selected Donny- good to soft on this flat and galloping track

11.50 Wide open novice hurdle

No Bet

12.20 The admirable Billingsley ended a short season with a front running hat-trick and has to be respected despite the 7 pound penalty and having his first run back . He should be able to get the front , but could well be vulnerable late on. A chance can be given to most of these but the ultra consistent Defi Sacre gets the nod , who’s unlikely to be far away .

¼ pt  win Defi Sacre @ 7/2

12.55 This looks a 3 horse war between Wild Max , Twin Star and Mick Maestro and very hard to split .

No Bet

2.05 Ofalltheginjoints brings the best form into the race but may not be totally suited this speed track and the other three all have decent shouts .

No Bet

2.40 The odds on fav is Monmiral but carries a penalty and is another who could be found out for toe on this speed track .

No Bet

3.15 Boldmere will give it a good go but is looking held off his present lofty mark . Siglefarmpayment ran better last time, first time for his new stable, but remains so hard to win with and better on stiff tracks. Jersey Bean comes here on a hat-trick but has a hefty 10 pound penalty . The Nicky Richards pair of Looking Well and Chidswell both have good form over C&d and the latter would have a terrific chance if sorting his jumping out , as he continues to run massive races despite poor jumping and the booking of an inexperienced 7 pound claimer can’t help . Give Me A Copper is a classy handicap chaser who landed a big race on his seasonal reappearance last year at Wincanton and despite being 5 pounds higher gets the vote and the wind op is a positive for the top stable .

½ pt win Give Me A Copper @ 13/2

Selected Cheltenham – soft ground on this undulating , galloping and stiff track

12.05 After an impressive debut Adagio lost little defeat over C&D when 2nd to 4 from 4 Irish raider Duffle Coat over C&D , and that’s comfortably the best form in the race and slightly softer ground no issue .

¾ pt win Adagio @ 6/5

12.40 The classy Chantry House is just too good for his opponents but is 4/7 .

No Bet

1.15 Too many ifs and buts

No Bet

2.25  An interesting novice hurdle with plenty trying 3 miles for the first time, which could well make a big difference . The fav is the prolific Ashtown Lad who spreadeagled a good field of handicappers at Uttoxeter in the mud and I doubt if any of his rivals could have done that . Stiffer track the only worry .

½ pt win Ashtown Lad @ 2/1

3.35 A very winnable finale and I’m having a dabble on the well treated and capable The Bay Birch, who’s been a bit in and out of late but has form here in the soft .

¼ pt  ew  The Bay Birch @ 14/1

Cheltenham Placepot

Selected Hereford – soft ground on this flat and sharp track

12.12 Tricky opener

No Bet

12.47 Plenty of the in form horse are now on very stiff marks which opens the door for the useful Jubulani  who returned from a long absence to run very well, but 2nd race back from a break is the acid test .

¼ pt win Jubilani @ 7/2

1.22 Kapga De lily could well be capable of landing the hat-trick despite the 9 pound it but I’m with veteran Still Believing who comes to life here and won over C&d last time , unexpectedly. She’s been 1st and 2nd in this race for the last two years so a lively longshot .

¼ pt  ew Still Believing @ 12/1

No Hereford placepot

Selected Newcastle – all weather – tapeta . The track is stiff and galloping

1.45 The most fascinating runner is Voix De Reve who is rated a very lofty 145 over hurdles, but hasn’t ran close to that mark for a while and that equates to around 100 on the flat and here he is on a mark of just 56 . but even that couldn’t tempt me on his current form and also attempting a specialist C&D . Jen’s Fella is another interesting newcomer to Newcastle and hasn’t been with his capable stable long . I prefer to stick to horse proven over C&D here and the in form trip of ravenscar , Rukwa and Wemyss Point all bring that to the table but the latter is the one with the best chance at the weights . The consistent Manjaam likes the surface but this C&D could stretch his stamina.

¼ pt  ew  Wemyss Point @ 11/1

2.55 The prolific Dublin Pharaoh was a ready winner over C&d last time ahead of Daawy and Sweet Dime and should be fine with the 3 pound hit , but short odds not for me in a tricky heat . Myseven has won 3 of his last 4 and has to be considered also as does Cardano .

No Bet

5.00 It’s great seeing Lord Of The Glen at his best again and can be excused a lesser effort last time over C&D when caught out wide and just couldn’t get into the race . His previous runs underlined his consistency over C&D and another good run likely .

¼ pt  ew  Lord of The Glen @ 10/1

Newcastle placepot

Selected Wolver – all weather – tapeta

4.15 The worthy fav is the prolific Dragon’s Will Rise a C&D winner on a hat-trick and still on a workable mark but does return after a short break . Kodi Koh runs her best races on this surface and was a good 2nd here last time , in a modest event , but the longer trip will help .

¼ pt  ew Kodi Koh @ 11/1

4.45 All that was required for Kingson to get back in the winner’s circle was a more prominent ride and he won well over C&D and ran respectably last time up in trip at Southwell . He’s still on a good mark and looks the solution to a winnable heat .

½ pt win Kingson @ 5/2

5.15 This is wide open but Bird For Life goes well over C&D and with a good pace likely this will help this late player . Nice longshot .

¼ pt  ew Bird For Life @ 11/1

5.45 Red Bond put in a brave effort from the front here last time and was just worn down in a better race than this. Longer trip in his advantage.

½ pt win Red Bond @ 11/4

6.15 Ffion won well over C&d on debut but it’s only Ok form and it wont be easy doubling up with a penalty returning from a 3 months break, but the opposition is not strong .

No Bet

6.45 The clear form horse is Kath’s Toyboy , but drops in trip and is new to the surface .

No Bet

7.15 A good quality sprint and the fav is the back to form Misty Grey who was having his first run for Tom Dascombe but with a 5 pound hit and a drop in trip, would do very well to nail the double. Both Merhoob and El Hombre are in form , on workable marks and run this C&D well . Splitting the stake .

¼ pt  ew each Merhoob – El Hombre , both 8/1, why not a small rev fc
