Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytack
11.30 A low grade handicap and despite now on a testing mark and having to race from a wide draw, the reliable Emerald Fox gets the nod. She took advantage of a winning opportunity recently over C&D in a similar race to this, winning with ease and did well under her 6 pound penalty when a close 4th again here next time , finding the extra yardage just too far . Expect a prominent ride and another good run . The fav is recent Wolver winner Blue Whisper who has a massive 9 pound penalty and as it to prove on tapeta. .
½ pt win Emerald Fox @ 5/1
12.30 The short priced fav is the ex-French Mustaqqir , a good 3rd at Kempton on his first start for John Butler , but he’s plenty short in the market for a maiden . Ahorsecalledwanda often fluffs the start but comes home well and was a close 4th over C&D last time and with three front runners in the field, this may just drop right for her. Frow had a fine time of it recently landing a 4 timer but eventually the handicapper has his way and now on a testing mark but not by much as he’s managed to hit the frame in his las two runs , but the wide draw wont help .
¼ pt ew Ahorsecallledwanda @ 7/1
1.35 Of those with experience , Bint Al amood has clearly the best form but the wide draw is a worry.
¼ pt win Bint Al amood @ 2/1

3.20 The hard to win with My Girl Maggie hasn’t shone on polytrack while rafiot looked flattered when running on into 3rd over C&D in a race which fell apart. Bashful Boy comes here in good form over hurdles and has winning form on this surface and trip no issue . This is a race for apprentice jockeys and our jockey is Charlie Price , who’s very experienced but more of a jumps jockey but still preferred .
½ pt win Bashful Boy @ 4/1
Selected Ludlow- soft ground on this flat and sharp track
12.20 An uncompetitive novice hurdle with a worthy fav in Faivoir , a good 4th in handicap company off a mark of 127, which should be too much for the 2nd fav in Kakamora to handle, but at 8/13 , I can afford to watch .
12.50 Only 3 count but the front running Ansam has experience on his side over fences , likes the ground and effective over C&D . The fab is Fidelio Vallis, but this one has stamina to prove making Strong Glance more of a danger .
½ pt win Annsam @ 2/1
1.55 A question mark against the in form Eritage on the soft ground so the nod goes to last year’s winner Caid Du Lin off a similar mark and ground.
¼ pt win Caid Du Lin @ 4/1

Selected Newbury – soft ground on this flat and galloping track
1.10 PREMIUM RACE
1.45 The very wonderful Magic Of Light crosses the Irish Sea to land this race for the 3rd successive time and on the ratings has plenty in hand over her two very decent rivals . Her moment in the Sun came when an incredible 2nd behind the great Tiger Roll in the 2019 Grand National , but her last two runs have hardly been her best . Should win but I wont be plating at 1/3 .
2.55 Sao didn’t beat much at Hexham in the mud and the penalty , less demanding track and ground are all against him , but this wont take much winning . The ground is no help to Fairway Freddie and similar reservations regarding most of the rest . All this makes the reliable veteran Finnegan’s Garden worth a play with the ground in his favour and despite the mark being high enough and the trip short enough , certainly knows how to win .
¼ pt win Finnegan’s Garden @ 5/1
Selected Kempton – all weather – polytrack
4.00 Touchwood brings most solid form to the table and no issues with track, trip or surface . Should put his experience to good use and a deserved win looks on .
½ pt win Torchwood @ 11/8
6.05 The very wonderful Delicate Kiss has form here but certainly saves her best for Lingfield and while I’m a huge fan of hers, her current mark is just too high . Espresso Freddo and FantasyBeliever are both recent C&D winners and both on testing marks and they are both late players and may not get the strong gallop they need. Mostawaa is a consistent soul who deserves a win and is effective over C&D. He likes to dominate but may have company from Delph Crescent, which wouldn’t be ideal . but is he controlled early on, I’ll be doubling my bet in running .
¼ pt win Mostawaa @ 10/3
6.35 A good pace is assured with the well drawn Soar Above and the badly drawn Brunel Charm sure to go out hard while One Hart may join in too . The strong pace is a Godsend to the capable but of late hard to win with Tipperary Jack , a dual C&d on a workable mark and from a good draw and under James Doyle should swoop late to land the spoils.
¾ pt win Tipperary Jack@ 5/2
7.05 Revolutionary Road comes here in top form and this late player was given a bit too much to do last time when flying home to be a close 2nd . This is not a big ask and the wide draw no real issue as he’s a hold up type. There are only a couple pf front runners so the pace may not be as strong as he’d like but still preferred again under James Doyle , who looks likely to have a very successful night.
½ pt win Revolutionary Road @ 11/4
