The issue regading your payments directly incrementing your account is still not 100% . It is working

but not immediately . If you find you don't have access to the Members' area within an hour

Registration problems sadly are still a bit hit and miss .

There were small losses for both the Premium Tips and lays and while of course profits are most preferable

In a month when  many days were raced on heavy ground, we didn't suffer greatly .

This month heralds the return of the flat season and The Cheltenham Festival, so if you haven't taken advantage of

the free week's trial,  this is an ideal time to do so . Just register and follow the prompts

I thank you for your loyal custom and hope you are enjoying watching the vast majority of the tips

running big races at big odds

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Marve(llous) bet in the 6.40

Fakenham abandoned

No advice from Clonmel

Selected Exeter – soft ground on this undulating ,galloping and stiff track

1.15 Not many here with high hopes and there is a very solid short priced fav in former pointer Lagonda, who has shaped well in a couple of bumpers and this stiff C&D looks fine for this strong staying type. Stablemates Midnight Colisto and windswept Girl both have Ok form but neither have been crying out for this longer trip .

½ pt win Lagonda @ 11/8

1.45 Full Back has run two big races in both of his chases but does have to concede weight to a couple of highly rated hurdlers in Dolphin Square , who was entitled to have done much better last time and Welsh Saint , related to a top chaser .

No Bet

2.15 Another big field with few having serious claims . The bookies are right making this a match between Astigar a good 2nd in his bumper debut and the winner won impressively first time over hurdles against Patrocolus, 2nd in both starts , but the big drop in trip could catch him out. I prefer the former but he’s no kind of bet at evens. Of the remainder , Fletch’s 2nd came on better ground at Southwell , so a bit to prove today with emphasis in stamina .

No Bet

3.45  Ballybreen took off good style last season winning 4 of his last 6 races and an excellent 2nd in his other two . His first two runs were devoid of promise but last time was well backed and turned a Fontwell Marathon into an absolute procession winning by over 30 lengths with only 3 of the 12 runners finishing , he’d run them off his feet. I had my doubts about that tight track suiting this strong galloper , but it made not a jot of difference. He is the fav to take them along today and the 7 pound hit wont make life easy in a race where a few can be given a chance but both In Arrears and only Gorgeous , who are both nicely weighted and run this C&D well , wont be helped by ground conditions while Definitely Vinnie also runs this track well but a win record of 1 from 37 tells its own story . Youngster DonHerbager has run two big races this season but the 5 pound hit wont help . Despite the penalty I’m with the very wonderfully genuine Ballybreen to notch the double .

½ pt winBallybreen @ 2/1

Selected Southwell – all weather – fibresand

4.40 Centurion Song comes here on the back of a long priced win over C&D, his first try at this track and after initially getting outpaced, got into his stride, finishing strongly for the narrow win over a very useful yardstick in track regular slowmo . Thee are 4 front runners in this so will have the strongly run race he requires . Gossip blotted his copybook last time showing temperament before the race and this front runner totally fluffed the start . If on his best behaviour , he is  well drawn to run a big race from the front, but after his shenanigans last time can only be watched .

½ pt win Centurion Song @ 2/1

5.10 The Mark Johnston filly Alpha Theta sluiced in over C&d on her recent debut and hard  to see her not landing the double , but is 1/2 .

No Bet

6.10 The Great Heir comes here in terrific form from the Newcastle tapeta but both runs here have been horror stories , so comfortably ruled out . Perfect Swiss sluiced in on his first try here recently and ran as well as could be expected next time with the 5 pound penalty when a clear 2nd to the progressive Star of St James , but the drop in trip wont help . Liamba is a consistent track regular but the 4 pound hit for a recent C&d winner was enough to keep him back in 3rd last time but still considered . Borsdane Wood landed a C&D double just over a year ago but since then racecourse appearances have been few and far between and recent runs not encouraging , but he’s dropped back to his last winning mark and ran well for a long way in his most recent try over C&D. Worth a dabble in a winnable race .

¼ pt win Borsdane Wood @ 8/1

6.40 Marve was an all the way winner over C&D recently running to a level In sync with his opening mark .Secret Handsheikh has good C&D form but runs from the coffin box in stall 1 so may have to do a lot of running to get competitive .

½ pt win Marve @ 11/4

7.10 Nick Vedder was a costly failure a few days ago but I thought he had a stiff task at the weights and up in trip and in the end wasn’t beaten that far . He’s drawn the coffin box today which is no help and renews rivalry with C&d regular Dirchill , who is 8 pounds better off for a length defeat and decent chance of getting back on the scoresheet . May The 6th is interesting  off a good mark and going up in trip.

¼ pt win Dirchill @ 9/4

7.40 Beach Bank put a series of below par rune behind when stepping up good style over C&D in a much better race than this going down narrowly and stays on the same mark . There are a few with a chance in this but he’s going to be hard to beat, but I can pass at evens .
