Today’s Fortune for a fiver
3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Mahelervous 12.57 @ 7/2
Dino Boy 3.45 @ 6/1
Arabescato 4.00 @ 9/4
Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytrack
12.00 Not all of those are fully exposed but the clear form horse is talking Point, who has run well in her last two tries , both being over C&D and despite the 2 pound hit , this should be her day .
½ pt win Talking Point @ 2/1
12.35 One Hart only won a claimer last time and would have needed to have improved for the stable switch to land the double in a race which severely lacks substance . The clear form horse is recent C&d winner Count Otto, and fair to say the win came a bit out of the blue , but he was a on a good mark . The 6 pound hit is stiff but the opposition modest so should get away with it .
½ pt win Count Otto @ 5/2
1.11 PREMIUM RACE
1.45 A good quality Class 1 event and Bangkok is the likely winner but not for me at odds on.
No Bet
2.15 A tough task for the hat-trick seeking Coupe De Champagne with the very harsh 9 pound hit . Swinton Moon was a shock winner over C&D last time just beating symbolic Power and as they are closely weighted again today , is the value play .
¼ pt win Swinton Moon @ 4/1
4.00 I was with Murhib when he won over C&D a few days ago but the 6 pound hit is very harsh and in a race lacking substance, clear preference for the reliable arabescato , fully effective here.
½ pt win Arabescato @ 9/4

Selected Musselburgh – soft ground on this flat and galloping track.
12.57 The pair most favoured by the weights in Getaway Trump and Gaelik Coast both have a bit to prove at this trip on soft ground . The front running Mahlervous stays further than this and comes here in top form , Soft ground no issue and could be away and gone.
½ pt win Mahelervous @ 7/2
1.29 The clear form horse in this veteran’s Chase is Oscar Ceremony , unlucky not to collect here last time in the mud over a bit further under an over confident ride by the jockey . The jockey is the issue today as young Oakley Brown has had few chances and has struggled this far . hoping for a steering job .
¼ pt win Oscar Ceremony @ 7/2
2.05 PREMIUM RACE
2.40 Rikoboy couldn’t have been any more impressive in his first handicap chase , cantering in , but has a 13 pound penalty and the win came in a pretty modest heat . I’m finding more negatives than positives for most of these so happy to play Monsieur Co , who is not the most consistent but won on soft at Kelso beating an in form type and runs this track very well .
¼ pt ew Monsieur Co @ 12/1
3.10 The drop in trip could trouble Balranald, a good 3rd here last time in the mud but over half a mile further . Hard to fancy many in this and the youngster Breguet Boy ran respectable over C&D last time when 3rd in a handicap and that could be good enough .
¼ pt win Breguet Boy @ 5/1
3.45 The Edinburgh National and very few have ever raced at this 4 mile trip before, the exception being the reliable Dino Boy who won at this trip at Kelso in the mud . He’s a massive 8 pounds higher but he couldn’t have won any easily and he is totally unexposed as a marathon horse .
½ pt win Dino Boy @ 6/1

Selected Leopardstown – soft ground on this flat and galloping track . An excellent circuit .
1.05 Very hard to rule anything out inn this Grade 1 novice hurdle and the short priced fav is recent C&d winner Gaillard Du Mesnil , but does go up in grade and these are all unexposed and no real idea how good they are. Ashdale Bob brings strong form to the table and being a hold up type could have this run to suit . This C&D could be on the benign side and the top stable not really firing , but still overpriced .
¼ p t ew Ashdale Bob @ 8/1
1.35 A good quality field for this Grade 1 and valuable Dublin Chase, but it looks destined for The Champion Chase fav in Chacun pour Soi , but is 1/2 .

2.10 PREMIUM RACE
3.15 The irish Champion Hurdle and the short priced fav is wondermare , honeysuckle , a pefect 9 from 9 but has a very classy opponent in the back to form Sharjah , a C&D specialist and this late player is . likely to have the race run to suit .
¼ pt wi Sharjah @ 3/1
Selected Sandown – heavy ground on this stiff and galloping track
1.15 PREMIUM RACE
1.50 they wont be hanging about in this as Paint The dream is sure to go on as is the progressive Shan Blue, but the drop in trip wont help the latter and preference is for the hat-trick seeking Mesire Des Obeaux who has won his last two in impressive style, coming off the pace both times . He’s held his form really well considering he had been off the track prior for some time. Hitman has stamona to prove but the prolific Dame De Compagnie cannot be ruled out.
½ pt win Messire Des Obeaux @ 7/2
2.20 A crackerjack of a Grade 2 chase and despite dropping in trip , the extremely tough Yala Enki will give it a right go from the front , but is taking on some very classy chasers. Former Gold Cup winner Native River ran just Ok on his comeback spin but on the heavy ground and this track, the useful and so determined Bristol De Mai gets the nod over Santini in what promises to be a thriller .
½ pt win Bristol De Mai @ 5/2
2.55 Not many make appeal In this and the vote goes to the consistent mud loving Evander, who did well last time in a race not run to suit and remains on a workable mark .
½ pt win Evander @ 6/1
3.30 Another race which lacks depth and the hat-trick seeking mud loving Ask Me Early is going to be hard to beat .
½ pt win Ask Me early @ 6/4

Selected Kempton – all weather – polytrack
5.25 Few come into this with high hopes as Carey Street will be tested off his new rating and more potent on tapeta. Suns up Guns up only landed a modest handicap over C&d last time which gives the well treated Glint Of AnEye a decent chance to finally open his account after a close 3rd over C&D last time off this mark .
¼ pt win Glint of an Eye @ 9/2
5.55 Despite the testing mark , Black Medick continues to hold his form really well and the quality of his form is superior to the other market fancies .
½ pt win Black Medick @ 9/2
6.30 Furzig is no mug but is understandably a longshot in a very hot small field Class 2 event . Rainbow Dreamer won this last year but faces stern opposition from both the unexposed Ocean Wind and the evergreen very useful Prince of arran , who was 4th In the Melbourne Cup and has to be the bet at the odds in a mouthwatering event .
½ pt win Prince of Arran @ 7/2
7.00 All of these are so hard to win with and despite a few of them coming into this in fair form , it’ll be down to who wants it most.
No Bet
7.30 This looks a golden opportunity for Grey D’ars after a good 2nd over C&D last time and the opposition is modest, but at 5/4 I can pass considering his poor win record .
8.00 Vivency was a last gasp winner over C&D last time depriving the luckless Perfect Rose by a nose and with Parikarma very close behind and at the revised weights , the latter has to be the bet at the odds .
¼ pt win Parikarma @ 8/1
