3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Miss Tara Moss 3.30 @ 3/1
Foresee 4.15 @ 7/2
Friends Don't Ask 4.25 @ 4/1
Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytrack
12.30 PREMIUM RACE
1.00Anmaat created a hugely favourable impression when 2nd in a Kempton maiden and the form is red hot with the winner pulling a cart winning the UAE Derby and plenty behind him have won . Looks a very solid shortie .
1.30 Beau Jardine won on his debut in the Newmarket mud but has a penalty and of course a bit to prove on this surface so clear preference for Rebel Territory after a very big run over C&D last time .
½ pt double Anmaat @ evens Rebel Territory @ evens
2.30 Swiss Pride has become a standing dish over C&d and the young 7 pound claimer rode him well to win again last time out . He’s up 4 pounds but the opposition is well beatable and the joint fav is not on good form and races at longer trips.
¾ pt win Swiss Pride @ 13/8
3.05 A competitive sprint but the front running Mister Bluebird could have the edge, effective over C&D and the 4 pound hit could have been worse . Virginia Plane and Mutasellem look bigger dangers than Four Adday .
¼ pt win Mister Bluebird @ 7/2
4.15 Foresee ran another good race over C&D last time and well drawn to take his preferred handy sit,. Hammy End is still very hard to win with and would prefer a bit further as would the hat-trick seeking Evaporist while recent fibresand winner has a bit to do returning to polytrack . It’s an apprentice race and the tip has a very able rider .
½ pt win Foresee @ 7/2
Selected Ayr- good to soft on this flat and galloping track
1.15 Alqamar was useful on the flat and his hurdles debut was pretty good but came in the Carlisle mud, so a very different test today but he handled better ground on the flat and should be too classy for a modest field, but I can pass at evens .
1.45 A massive field and not that many with high hopes . The bang in form Old Jewry would do well to go in again with a 5 pound penalty while Dancing Doug is rarely far away but remains a frustrating long standing maiden . Getthepot has clear claims after two good runs in handicap company at the trip and mark while better was expected from the well handicapped Keep The River on his first start for the good stable of Tristan Davidson , but again ran just a fair race .Christmas in Usa put in an improved effort when 2nd last time to Old Jewry at Newcastle off his much reduced mark and has won here before off a similar mark and ground .
¼ pt ew Christmas in USA @ 10/1
2.20 PREMIUM RACE
2.55 PREMIUM RACE
3.30 At the weights the one to beat is the in form and consistent Miss Tara Moss who made a long odds on shot work hard last time and impressed with her attitude and should be too good for these .
¾ pt win Miss Tara Moss @ 3/1
Selected Fakenham – good to soft on this flat and very sharp track
Another disappointing card from Norfolk and I’m just having the one play
4.25 The Norfolk National and it’s pretty open but the in form pair of Game Line and High Counsel have both been given very stiff tasks by the handicapper but the 5 pound penalty for Robin of Sherwood keeps him in the picture as he is 1 from 1 at this trip and the sharp track should be OK. Preference is for the strong staying youngster Friends Don’t Ask , successful over C&D in the mud and won well last time on much quicker ground and the 5 pound hit isn’t bad . The consistent Strictlyadancer is another with strong claims but expect the tip to be given a prominent ride and see it out the best .
½ pt win Friends Don’t ask @ 4/1
Selected Southwell- good to soft on this flat and sharp track
4.45.As Heavey has yet to impress over fences and this tight track likely to be against both Big Nasty and Huntsman Jig , it offers an opportunity for Sizing Cusimano, who doesn’t win many but ran well on his comeback spin and this kind of track suits. Ebony Gale has a shocking record going left handed.
¼ pt win Sizing Cusimano @ 5/1
5.15 Demon D’Anjou came into his latest race in pretty poor form but put that behind him with a much improved run, but if he’s in that kind of mood again, is the question and also goes up in trip. Most of these are not going well, the exception being the lightly raced Starjac, a good 2nd at Stratford last time , but is another who finds winning tough , but this is a good opportunity .
¼ pt win Starjac @ 9/2
6.50 Despite the big field, most of these have a hard time getting their noses in front and even the in form track specialist Hahadi , is up a harsh 8 pounds. When envol De La Cour was last seen, 6 months ago, he was a tidy winner at Market rasen and he has a good record racing fresh . He ran well here over a longer trip and looks a nice ew play in a winnable heat .
¼ pt ew Envoi De La Cour @ 8/1
7.50 Hear The Chimes responded well to a drop in the ratings with a close 3rd over C&D off this mark and similar ground and a similar effort sees him right in the picture. The in form fav Ballycrystal has it to prove at this longer trip .
¼ pt ew Hear The Chimes @ 6/1
8.20 The lightly raced Power Home won well in his first handicap at Warwick so this track should suit and the 5 pound hit looks manageable .
¼ pt win Power Home @ 4/1
Selected Wolver – all weather – tapeta
5.30 A wide open start to the card and the fav is the in form Sky Lake , a running on 2nd here last time but up 2 pounds and had track regular International Law just behind as was Weloof , who got no kind of run and both of these have to be seriously considered. Carey Street is a reliable regular here but a bit high in the weights but will give his supporters a good run from the front . Mac McCarthy was a shock winner over C&D last time and the 3 pound hit not insurmountable. Sharpcliff has been going pretty well in maidens here but from a good draw the nod goes to the reliable tip .
¼ pt ew International Law@ 9/1
6.00 A switch to front running brought about a much improved run from Zumaaty when a very close 2nd at Lingfield and stays on the same mark . His only run here was only modest but it was in quite a deep maiden when held up . so hoping for an all the way win . the lightly raced Cathayensis won well at Newcastle last time and looks ready for the longer trip , but the 6 pound hit looks harsh. The admirable omany Amber is now on tough mark and has been unlucky in the draw .
¼ pt win Zumaaty @ 5/1
7.00 This wont take much winning and despite a 4 pound penalty and switching from fibresand , Dan De Light should land this and the stable has winners here .
½ pt win Dan De Light @ 2/1
