Expecting an Outstanding October

We were going along very nicely thank you until the final week , where there were a number of

disappointing or unlucky runs and after looking as if we were coasting to a tidy monthly profit ,

in the end we came out with just a tiny profit for The Premium Tip and a small loss for the lays .

On a more positive note , the Premium tip Multis again came in with a terrific £300 profit , ROI 53%

and the free tip singles also finished with a healthy 30pts profit

but not immediately . If you find you don't have access to the Members' area within an hour

I thank you for your loyal custom and hope you are enjoying watching the vast majority of the tips

running big races at big odds

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Blazing Saddles a red hot tip

Today’s Fortune for a fiver

6 50p doubles 4 25p trebles & 50p ew acca

Blazing Saddles 1.45 @ 3/1

Ready Freddie Go 4.25 @ 3/1

Puckle 4.55 @ 3/1

Onthefrontfoot 5.45 @ 3/1

Selected Yarmouth – soft ground on this flat and galloping track

2.00 estate House comes into this in fine form and mark and trip fine and has a decent run on soft ground on his CV .

¼ pt win Estate House @ 7/4

2.30 The ultra reliable Aria Rose will no doubt try and make all again and remains on a workable mark and ground/ trip no issue .

½ pt win Aria Rose @ 11/4

3.05 Let Me Be goes for the 4 timer in a most winnable heat . He’s needed to be shoved along a few times before getting the measure of rivals during this purple patch and off a 3 pound higher mark may have to work a bit harder than odds on players would like .

No Bet

Selected Warwick – probably soft ground on this flat and sharp track

1.45 This is very much there for the taking and as the consistent Shanroe Tic Tec needs a longer trip , this should be straight forward for the in form Blazing Saddles .

½ pt win Blazing Saddles @ 3/1

2.20 The lightly raced Danilo D’Airy obviously took to handicapping going chasing for the first time with a clear win over C&D on similar ground , but the stone hit is very hefty , but he is unexposed , but hasn’t had much racing for an 8yo and this could come too soon . Hang Tough and Black Centaur have claims but I’m with the consistent Robin of Sherwood , who’s been  on the go for some time but shows little sign of having enough and this course winner will like the ground .

½ pt  ew Robin of Sherwood @ 8/1

2.55 The short priced fav is recent Worcester winner Blue Riband on his first start for Richard Newland , where have we heard that before ! but it came on his preferred good ground , so happy to take on with his stiff penalty . Champagne City comes here on  a C&D double , both times butning them off from the front , and the latest win came on soft ground. Looks sure to have his own way up front and this determined character will take some catching .

¾ pt win Champagne City @ 4/1

3.30 This looks good for the prolific Fidelio Vallis , despite a sharp nudge up the weights and softer ground , which he does handle, but not for me at odds on .

No Bet

4.30 This looks a match between the in form pair of I’m a Starman and Blarney Bateleur and the nod goes to the latter with this former point winner now tackling a longer trip .

½ pt win Blarney Bataleur @ 5/2

Selected Ayr- good to firm on this flat and galloping track .

2.10 Both Showtown Mahomes and Isladaay bring useful form to the table but the former split a couple of decent types at Ripon on easy ground and the winner has done well since going down narrowly in much higher grade while his chief rival too some time to get going at the stiff Beverley and this speed track could catch her out .

½ pt win Showtown Mahones @ 5/6

3.20 A good quality Class 1 for fillies and you could have thrown a blanket over Al La voile , Arriviste and Black Lotus in a similar event at Yarmouth on quick ground and unlikely to be little between them again, but this looks tricky with some progressive types in the field .

No Bet

3.50 Zumurid has no penalty for a smart win in the soft at Catterick last time and the switch to faster ground no issue / Caballero has gone mighty close over C&d in both starts this year and another big run expected under a prominent ride but I can’t resist a play on the lightly raced Class Clown , only a few lengths behind Caballero last time and now better off at the weights,

¼ pt  ew  Class Clown @ 33/1

4.20 There’s a stack of early pace in this which wont help those up front but will help the in  form late playing Ready Freddie Go , who has a stiff 5 pound penalty , but the ground is in his favour , which is more than can be said for most of his rivals and has a cracking race make up .

½ pt  win Ready Freddie Go @ 3/1

4.55 The drop in trip wont help the capable Flamarion and this should be a deserved win for the reliable Puckle after a narrow defeat over C&d last time on this ground and mark .

½ pt win Puckle @ 3/1

Ayr placepot

Selected Southwell – good ground on this flat and sharp track

5.10 The Devils Drop hasn’t had much racing of late and certainly stepped up on previous tries this season with an excellent 2nd at Cheltenham , running on with style , giving the impression this longer trip will suit and is 2 from 2 at the track Similar ground and looks hard to beat . Town Parks has been consistent this season but this is a big step up In trip .

½ pt win The Devil’s drop @7/4

5.45 Statuario put in a much better run last time and despite the rise in grade and ratings , similar will get him involved. The useful Witness Protection would di very well getting involved dropping in trip on this speed track. Onthefrontfoot has run very well in his last two races, both chases and after a cosy win at Kempton chased home a good one over C&D last time , and that run puts him on a very good mark.

½ pt  win On The Front Foot @ 3/1

7.50 The lightly raced Classic Ruler did well in his first handicap which came over C&D , which was run at a steady pace despite the big field , and he certainly wasn’t stopping . Eased a bit in the ratings and looks a very lively longshot in a winnable heat . Tara’s Day won well last time returning from a long absence but is 6 pounds higher and of course 2nd race back is the acid test for runners who have time on the sideline , but she does go well here .

½ pt  ew Classic Ruler @ 12/1

8.20 Dab Gun’s winning spree came to a halt last time with a combination of a high mark and a longer trip . This distance will suit but clear preference is for the lightly raced St augustin , who may find this C&D on the sharp side , but few here can be fancied and I can see him running these down late on.

½ pt win St Augustin @ 5/2

Southwell placepot

16 bets

Selected Kempton – all weather – polytrack

5.25 Tricky openers as many of these 3yos are unexposed and it’s also a race for apprentices . Ivynator ended last season with a win and ran a solid race last time at Lingfield off a slightly higher mark just beaten 2 lengths . Drops slightly in grade , nicely drawn for a prominent racer . Willyhewont He needs to improve upon previous runs on polytrack , L’Operatuer looks more of a danger .

¼ pt win Ivynator @ 5/1

7.35  Goldie Hawk had a fine time of it last season , ending with a hat-trick , including one over C&D . She ran well on her comeback spin on turf but has been nudged up a further 2 pounds . Great Esteem is quite a formidable opponent when getting his own way up front , which looks very likely tonight . He’s 4 pounds higher than his last win , but did that easily and I’m with  him to make every post a winning post. Valryian Steel has a bit to prove after a tame comeback run while Utile ended last season with a very disappointing effort .

½ pt win Great Esteem @ 7/1
