3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Velocistar 2.45 @ 6/1
Northernpowerhouse 3.00 @ 7/2
Pammi 3.10 @ 9/2
Selected Perth – good ground on this flat and quite sharp track
1.00This looks between the trio of Irish raiders and the best form on the ground and this kind of track belongs to the consistent but luckless Estepona Sun .
½ pt win Estepona Sun @ 13/8
1.30 Not a deep race and a great opportunity for the luckless Hasankey after a great effort on quick ground at this trip on his first chase.
½ pt win Hasankey @ 6/4
2.00 The consistent Billie The Squid shapes like he’ll appreciate this much longer trip but breeding disagrees with that . Malangen is on a fair mark and stays the trip well .
¼ pt win Malagen @ 5/1
2.35 The two Irish raiders have their work cut out at the trip and ground . Looks too close to call between the capable pair of Licklighter and Amalfi Doug .
¼ pt rev fc Licklighter -Amalfi Doug .
3.10 The trip is the concern for the luckless Smart Getaway and also has the profile of a bouncer . Pammi ran very well last time and takes a welcome drop in grade . Smart chance of getting back on the scoresheet.
½ pt win Pammi @ 9/2
3.45 As Millarville has a bit to prove going up in trip , preference is for the determined Hitman Jack , despite a tricky mark .
¼ pt win Hitman Jack @ 4/1
4.15 Grey Girly was a smart winner over C&D on this ground last time and the 3 pound hit unlikely to stop her .
½ pt win Grey Girly @ 7/4
Selected Redcar – good to firm on this flat and galloping track
1.20 Mahogani won well at Chepstow last time but with a penalty and o this quicker track , clear preference for Flippin Eck , who was a market mover in a big field Thirsk maiden on quick ground and the pair who chinned him have excelled since .
¾ pt win Flippin Eck @ 7/4
2.25 Photograph stepped up last time when 2nd at Musselburgh but on quicker ground happy to loo elsewhere . Racy Stacey ran a brave race over C&d last time in a big field handicap from the front finishing 3rd and not beaten far but slight preference is for the well handicapped Willa after a good run at Thirsk in higher grade , off a higher mark and on quick ground .
¼ pt win Willa @ 9/2
3.00 Cruyff Turn got loose last time and won easily but the 8 pound hit will take some overcoming . The strong pace will suit the capable C&d winner Northernpowerhouse who was unlucky in a big field at York when fancied and compensation awaits .
¾ pt win Norternpowerhouse @ 10/3
3.35 Not a deep race at all and despite being nudged up a further 3 pounds , C&d specialist and fast ground lover Navajo Spring can come off the pace for another win .
½ pt win Navajo Spring @ 7/4
4.45 There is plenty of early pace in this which will suit the consistent Cometh The Man , who has good enough form in the book to land this including over C&D on quick ground off around this mark Looks most solid ew .
½ pt ew Cometh The Man @ 11/2
Selected Newmarket – good to soft on this undulating , galloping and stiff track
2.45 Velocitator just doesn’t know how to run a bad race and any further deterioration in the ground is in her favour . Should be fine over C&D in a winnable heat .
½ pt ew Velocitator @ 6/1
4.30 Inver Park impressed when winning at Ascot on easy ground and may have found things happening a bit quick at Nottingham last time, Back on a stiff track has claims
¼ pt win Inver Park @ 9/2
5.05 I was with Numoor strongly last time but after travelling well , emptied out alarmingly , and worth a 2nd chance at good odds .
¼ pt win Numoor @ 9/1
Selected Royal Ascot – heavy ground on this stiff and galloping track
2.30 PREMIUM RACE
3.05 A good pace is on the cards with a handful of front runners and one of those is usually Aiden O’Brien’s Khartoum , who missed the kick last time but still impressively ploughed the Naas mud landing a handicap cosily and the 2nd horse landed a massive field handicap at The Curragh next time and takes his chance later today . The tip is an utter mudlark and likely to be front rank throughout and see this out the best .
½ pt win Khartoum @ 8/1
3.40 PREMIUM RACE
4.20 PREMIUM RACE
5.00 A typical massive field for The Wokingham handicap and there is stacks of early pace all over the track and despite the high numbers having the call yesterday , it may well not be the case today . With so much early pace on it’s likely that one of the late players will nab this and I’m with the incredible Rohann, who started his winning run off a mark of just 55 and was backed off the boards to win with ease on the Newcastle tapeta , what a horse for a punt he was that night ! and since then has won 5 times and last time came off the pace to chin Commonwealth Cup first past the post Dragon Symbol , most unlucky to lose it In the Stewards Room . That win came at Haydock on deep ground in a Group 2 and could well be a Group horse in a handicap and ran to a level of 113 winning that and his mark is 112 today . What a climb through the ranks and if his lowish draw is no impediment looks likely to run another big race .
½ pt ew Rohann @ 15/2
5.35 PREMIUM RACE
6.10 The traditional finale for Royal Ascot , the Queen Alexandria Stakes, the longest flat race in the world ! Plenty of useful types compete but I’m having a dabble on the classy Barbados, soft ground no issue and shapes like he’ll stay this marathon trip .
¼ pt ew Barbados @ 11/1
Night Racing multi
3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Makashi 7.35 @ 7/1
Cote D’Azur 8.35 @ 11/2
Bonus 8,20 @ 7/2
Selected Lingfield – very soft ground on this undulating and sharp track
5.45 The fav is the lightly raced Ziggy , who is not well handicapped on what he’s shown and goes up In trip and faces deeper ground. Dolphin Vista is proven in the mud at this trip and on a decent enough mark, but is a bit in and out . Worth a try .
¼ pt ew Dolphin Vista @ 8/1
6.20 This will take very little winning and as Scheheradze handles the ground and likely to stay the trip , this should be her day .
½ pt win Scheheradze @ 5/4
6.50 Quite an open race but the fav Bint Australia has it to prove on the ground. Gold souk is holding his form well. has won here and goes on the ground. Nice ew play
¼ pt ew Gold souk @ 6/1
8.20 Bonus ran a belter over C&d last time out in the mud, trying to make all and just chinned late on. He’s up 2 pounds for his trouble but this is modest heat and if getting away smartly from the low draw, compensation awaits .
½ pt win Bonus @ 7/2
Selected Haydock – good to firm on this flat and galloping track .
6.00 Maytal brings the best form to the table , but it’s all on the all weather at shorter trips but as she’s related to some smart types including the very classy middle distance horse Midday, should have no problems.
¾ pt win Maytal @ 5/6
6.35 A good pace is assured with Spurofthemoment sure to go along , but she’s on a stiff enough mark now and likely to be in trouble late on . All of Second Collection , Fox Hill and Not On Your Nellie have claims but the late playing latter is still not fully exposed and was unlucky last time off this mark .
¼ pt win Not On Your Nellie @ 4/1
7.05 Both Al shibli and Red Power have winning form but wont find it easy giving weight to Papa Cocktail , a good 3rd on debut on quick ground , and the 2nd horse ran a blinder at Ascot today . Baikal runs in famous colours and cost £325,000 ! so could be an interesting player at long odds.
½ pt win Papa Cocktail @ 11/8
7.35 After an ok debut at Windsor, Makashi got stuck in the mud in a decent Nottingham maiden and severely outran his odds of 100/1 in quite a deep maiden on quick ground at Donny which puts him on a good mark in this handicap . Runs for a top stable .
1/2pt win Makashi @ 7/1
8.05 The front running Rains Of Castamere just doesn’t know how to run a bad race and this wont take a lot of winning .
¼ pt win rains of Castamere @ 9/4
8.35 Cote D’Azur made an overdue and deserved return to the winner’s Circle last time out with an easy win over C&d from a nasty wide draw, Far better berthed today and the 3 pound hit looks well manageable in a modest event . The short priced fav is youngster Our New Buddy , but best runs have been on soft ground .
½ pt ew Cote D’Azur @ 11/2
