Expecting an Outstanding October

We were going along very nicely thank you until the final week , where there were a number of

disappointing or unlucky runs and after looking as if we were coasting to a tidy monthly profit ,

in the end we came out with just a tiny profit for The Premium Tip and a small loss for the lays .

On a more positive note , the Premium tip Multis again came in with a terrific £300 profit , ROI 53%

and the free tip singles also finished with a healthy 30pts profit

The issue regading your payments directly incrementing your account is still not 100% . It is working

but not immediately . If you find you don't have access to the Members' area within an hour

I thank you for your loyal custom and hope you are enjoying watching the vast majority of the tips

running big races at big odds

I have decided to keep stats for Premium tip multis, so you can then see the massive returns possible.

£20 is a fair stake to risk on the multi. I would recommend the following

A £1 yank ( £11 pound) , or if the tips are long odds, an ew yank

Extra £1 win doubles

And an extra £1.50 ew acca

I have recently switched to Bet365 as my principal bookmaker, and it's been a smart move with so many extra place

races, and as many of my tips are ew , it make sense to include these concessions as part of the stats . I will in future

point this out with the tip write up

I consider betting  on the horses my hobby and all hobbies cost money, but I have proved that you can enjoy all the

pleasures a hobby brings and also come out with a profit .

Jack to Hammer these in the 2.55

Today’s multi

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Jackhammer 2.55 @ 3/1

Gometra Ginty 5.15 @ 5/1

Highway One 8.40 @ 11/2

Selected Salisbury – probably good to soft on this undulating , galloping and stiff track

1.00Not a great deal to go on as these 2yos are either very lightly raced or newcomers but I like the look of Warhol who shaped up well on debut at Newbury on quick ground in what looked a deep maiden and the winner ran very well at Royal Ascot . Longer trip , stiffer track and softer ground all look positives.

¼ pt  win Warhol @ 9/2

¼ pt  ew  Pettochside @ 12/1

2.10 Five of these juveniles have winning form already but crucially Dairebin , who brings the best form to the table has run his best races on easy ground and looks a solid fav .

½ pt  win Dairebin @ 11/8

3.20 Looks very much a match but as Kolisi is proven on the ground and very much bred for this longer trip gets the nod over Khaiz who does have slightly stronger form , but on quick turf .

¼ pt win Kolisi @ 11/4

3,55 Lord Protector is 3 from 3 and still looking ahead of the game and this course winner has no issues with soft ground and longer trip should suit , but he does like to dominate which is unlikely today with other capable front runners. The nod goes to the Godolphin runner in  the lightly raced  Bandinelli, who’s only raced on synthetics so far but likely to act on the mud .

¼ pt  win Bandinelli @ 4/1

4.30 The prolific Master Milliner goes for the 4 timer but the 7 pound hit will test as will the rise in grade. Preference is for the front running Nuits St Georges , who loves the mud and this kind of C&D and despite the 4 pound hit gets the nod .

¼ pt  win Nuits St Georges @ 5/2

Salisbury placepot

Selected Worcester – good ground on this flat and galloping track

1.25 The odds on fav is Captain Tom Cat who has front run his way to being 2 from 2 over fences  but only serious rival Adjali is no mug and this could be closer than what the bookies think .

No Bet

2.00 There’ll be no hanging around in this with a trio of front runners including the fav Dogon , who returns from another lengthy break and with an unappealing profile preference is for the luckless Elios D’Or , close 3rd in his last three and this late player has an excellent race make up .

¼ pt  win Elios D’Or @ 10/3

2.35 A chance can be given to all 5 but Fidux is a classy chaser and looks overpriced for his ability .

¼ pt win  Fidux @ 13/2

3.45 Edinburgh Castle  was a decent sort on the flat rated 77 and acted on quick ground well at middle distances . He has shaped up very well in both runs over hurdles and despite the big field, this looks a  penalty kick .

¾ pt win Edinburgh Castle @ 13/8

Worcester placepot

Selected Carlisle – good to firm on this undulating , galloping and stiff track

1.45 Circoloco impressed when 2nd on quick ground on debut and is the one to beat but I can afford to pass at short odds.

No Bet

2.20 Madame Bonbon made a right fist of it at Haydock on quick ground with a very determined effort from the front only to be chinned close home and there was a short priced fav who brought good form to the race back in 4th . I like her chance .

½ pt win Madame Bonbon @ 3/1

2.55 Jackhammer comes here on the back of 2 big runs which has prepared him very well for another bash at this race which he won two years ago , on quick ground but off a much lower mark but he’s run well in both runs this season off around this mark . He is very well drawn and with a couple of front runners has a good race make up for a late player and can enhance his record of 3 from 5 here !

¾ pt win Jackhammer @ 3/1

3.30 A massive field and there’ll be no hanging around with the well drawn pair of Fred and Howzer Black, both very gritty front runners on Ok marks , will both give it a bash from the word go , but with Garden Oasis and Defence Treaty also front runners , they are all likely to run their races prematurely . Chichester is having a terrific season and despite dropping in trip, he’s in good form on quick turf and the strong pace and uphill finish will help this strong stayer .

¼ pt  win Chichester @ 6/1

4.05 Another valuable handicap and plenty of in form runners none more so than the revitalised Tricorn , who goes for the 5 timer and has been winning as he pleases . He hasn’t been with Iain Jardine that long but is 4 from 4 wearing cheekpieces and when trained by John Gosden had a rating over 100 , so could still be ahead of the game but preference is for the hat-trick seeking and reliable Croeso Cymraeg , who should appreciate this testing C&D .

¼ pt win Croeso Cymraeg @ 5/1

4.40 A valuable Class 1 for fillies and clearly the one to beat at the ratings is the Irish raider Thunder Beauty but she hasn’t raced to her mark for some time and I’m overlooking her as I am too recent winner Illykato with a penalty and a drop in trip . Cloudy dawn deserves a try in this company as she is 3 from 3 and despite a bit to find on the ratings , could be ahead of the game . mamba Wamba is a likeable sort and has a fair chance at the weights and on this ground, this C&D could suit well .

¼ pt  ew Mamba Wamba @ 10/1

5.15 Hats off to the prolific Pearl of Qatar , 3 wins in her last 5 but now on a stiff mark and this stiff C&d no help to her at all. The front running Gometra Ginty was very tough at Catterick just holding off Lead Story and at the weights there wont be much between them again but the tip is well drawn to take them along , unlikely to be pestered up front  and this track winner stays further so if getting a good lead , could be hard to reel in .

½ pt  win Gometra Ginty @ 5/1

Selected Kempton- all weather – polytrack

5.40 The lightly raced Nibras silk won nicely at this trip at Chelmsford City in his first handicap given a prominent ride , but does have a stiff 6 pound penalty and a big ask from a bad draw. Plenty of the form horses have a bit to prove off their marks and in some cases surface and trip . Puffin Island is only a pound higher for a good 2nd at Chelmsford City and from a nice draw looks a lively longshot .

¼ pt  ew Puffin Island @ 16/1

6.10 Port Noir has a tough task with a very stiff 8 pound penalty on tapeta and is badly drawn. The lightly raced Lower Street was just behind Sayifyouwill at Chelmsford City at this trip and could just improve past her rival . The lightly raced Hasanaat is another possibility .

¼ pt  win Lower Street @ 5/1

8.10 The short priced fav is the lightly raced Viola just 3 pounds higher for a cosy win at this trip at Lingfield and the double surely a possibility but preference is for the in form and well treated Oh It’s Saucepot , who’s run some big races over C&D off higher marks.

¼ pt  win  Oh It’s  Saucepot @ 11/2

8.40Highway One has won his last three races on synthetics , the latest coming over C&d in his first try at this trip. It was a cosy win and the placed horses give plenty of substance to the form .

½ pt  win Highway One @ 11/2

Selected Bath – firm ground on this sharp but stiff track

5.50 A very tricky opener but a true run race on the cards with a number of front runners who make scant appeal on current form and race make up . The lightly raced Mystify Me is with a top stable and won well enough over C&D last time to be a feature in her first handicap . Both Equally Fast and Cherish go well over C&D on quick ground but both a bit high in the ratings . Hot Scoop is in good form and is 2 from 2 here but over a slightly longer trip but as this will be raced at a strong pace could pick these up late on .

¼ pt win Hot Scoop @ 9/2

6.20 Symphony Perfect was turned over at short odds here last time and this longer trip is unlikely to help. George Boughey has been banging in the juvenile winners good style and introduces Sassy Rascal , an expensive purchase for the stable and is preferred .

¼ pt win  Sassy Rascal @ 5/2

6.50 The odds on fav is Star Caliber who impressed winning his only start last season and took on the big boys in his only start this campaign in a Class 1 at Epsom , but was beaten a long old way and on breeding this longer trip unlikely to suit. Vin Rouge ran very well at this trip at Salisbury last time on quick turf so will have ideal conditions and likely to act on the C&D .

¼ pt win Vin Rouge @ 5/2

Bath placepot
