3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Havana Hermano 2.10 @ 4/1
Tardree 3.10 @ 3/1
Pillar Of Steel 3.40 @ 5/1
Selected Yarmouth – good ground on this flat and galloping track
2.30 Mystic Dragon has been transformed by a switch to hold up tactics and racing over this C&D . She was a ready winner last time and despite a stiff 5 pound penalty , this isn’t a deep race . track regular Skyjack won well last time but the longer trip and nudge up the ratings casts doubts about a double. Lancero is with a top stable but has showed zilch in maidens , but no surprise if the longer trip going handicapping off a low mark sees a much better effort . Harbour Project hasn’t been beaten far of late and the drop in trip looks smart move and can outrun his odds. The in form Manfadh is another to consider , but is hard to win with .
¼ pt ew Harbour Project @ 20/1
3.00 Not a deep contest and the consistent Sir Benedict will again find the ground and his mark against him . Dashing Dick landed a deserved win over C&D 2 runs back and last time tried to make all at a steady pace , but it turned out to be a sprint , which didn’t suit this strong staying sort . A good pace is likely and still looks on the kind of mark to land this winnable heat .The unknown is the lightly raced Farrh To Shy , who goes up in trip and tries handicapping for the first time . Can’t be ruled out but the tip has less to prove .
½ pt win Dashing Dick @ 3/1
3.30 PREMIUM RACE
4.00 The consistent Little Sunflower is now on a testing enough mark but certainly has to be considered in a modest heat . Rinty Mcginty ran well from the front over C&D a few starts back, despite being drawn on the wrong side and a similar effort will see her outrunning her odds .
¼ pt ew Rinty McGinty @ 14/1
4.35 Quite an open finale and it could boil down to a pair of consistent yet hard to win with types in Lowndes Square and Habanero Star , and the solid C&D form of the latter makes him of more interest .
¼ pt ew Habanero Star @ 11/2
Selected Bangor – good ground on this flat and sharp track
1.40 The front running and consistent Ginger Du Val deserves to get her head in front and could take some catching around this sharp circuit .
¼ pt win Ginger Du Val @ 4/1
2.10 Wishful Dreaming scooted in over C&D last time but the 7 pound hit will test in this deeper racev . The consistent Havana Hermano was narrowly denied over C&D last time and stays on the same mark . He lost his pitch in a steadily run event but finished with a wet sail and with a better gallop likely , could go one better .
½ pt win Havana Hermano @ 4/1
3.10 The lightly raced Tardree has taken his form to a new level since going handicapping and was a facile all the way winner at around this trip at Market Rasen last time .Likely to have his own way up front and this sharp C&D likely to suit . Can make light of the 8 pound hit .
½ pt win Tardree @ 3/1
3.40 Plenty of in form ones here : recent C&d winner Pass Rusher , but drying ground not ideal as well as the nudge up the weights and the late playing Theocrat continues to shape like a winner about to happen. The 4 timer seeking Pillar Of Steel is showing no signs of stopping and is only 3 pounds higher for another cosy win last time .
½ pt win Pillar Of Steel @ 5/1
Selected Musselburgh - good ground on this flat and galloping track
3.20 PREMIUM RACE
3.50 Very hard to fancy the fav Etikaal , who’s well capable of landing this on his best form , but no excuses for a series of poor efforts and wide draw no help . In a weak heat , the downgraded Cool dandy gets the nod .
¼ pt ew Cool Dandy @ 4/1
4.25 The front running Blistering Barney certainly knows how to win and the 3 pound hit for a gutsy win last time , beating a short priced fav , could have been far worse .
½ pt win Blistering Barney @ 3/1
5.00 No shortage of early pace in this which will help the late players and one of those, Lola rebel , has been shaping like a winner about to happen and if the gaps appear , could finally nail one .
¼ pt ew Lola Rebel @ 11/2
Selected Salisbury – good ground on this undulating , stiff and galloping track
6.35 Hard to rule any of the five out but C’Est No Mour has been a revelation of late and still on a workable mark . Ground , C&D both fine .
¼ pt win C’Est No Mour @ 11/2
7.35 Master Grey continues to be so hard to win with while Givepeaceachance only landed a modest Nottingham event recently off a 3 pound lower mark . Where You At is another long standing maiden so the vote goes to recent all weather winner Eagle One , winning only a 3 runner race , but was the outsider of 3 and beat a couple of decent ones . Previous turf form gives him solid clams off just a 2 pound higher mark and a C&D to suit .
½ pt win Eagle One @ 11/4
Selected Newbury – good ground on this flat and galloping track
5.15 He’s rarely far away and the 2 pound nudge for not winning makes it no easier , but Fanghorn still brings the strongest credentials with Nine tails a bit to prove off his mark.
¼ pt win Fanghorn @ 5/2
5.45 PREMIUM RACE
6.45 The front running Skytree could only manage a modest 3rd of 4 on easy ground off this mark last time while Mickeydee is another who favours softer ground . Mushirif went close off around this mark and trip at Wolver but the switch to drying ground not sure to suit. Night Moment ran his best race for a while off around this mark and first time at this trip, when 3rd behind a pair who have done well since . Could well surprise .
½ pt win Night Moment @ 8/1
